Placements: Placements at Mount Carmel College are very tough to get. The average package they say is 4 - 7 LPA. I really don’t have an idea about placements here because I am a newbie and I am in my 1st year. I have done one internship with Indian Artists Collective, which was a non-paying internship. If you want internships, you must be in the good books of the professors.
Placements: MCC is good for placements in the commerce department, but in the arts, there is no placement since most people opt for higher studies. Also, there are very few jobs at the UG level for arts students. There is no time for internships for psychology students. Most people have to find it out on their own and do it online.
Placements: The placement opportunities for B. C. and B.A. students are generally subpar, with many students receiving minimal offers. Only those who score extremely well and are highly sought after receive good packages. For students in journalism and psychology, the situation is similar. In journalism, roles such as content writers, reporter, and media analyst are available, while psychology graduates might find positions as counselors, research assistants, and HR specialists. However, competitive package...
Placements: According to the placements report, more the 500 students were placed out of the 900 student who sat for placements. The highest package offered was 15 lacs and the lowest was 2 lacs with an average package of 5 lacs. The top recruiters were KPMG and Deloitte. 50% students got internships in the companies for which they applied. Marketing and sales business development are the roles offered.
Placements: 40-60% of students were placed in our course. 23 LPA was the highest, 3LPA was the lowest, and 6 LPA was the average package offered in this course. Top recruiting companies for the course were Biotin, Serum Institute, Genetic, etc. 80% of students got an internship from my course. Top roles offered were research associate, lab technician, etc.
Placements: At our college, there was a special cell for placements. This placement cell works hard, and about 60% of students get campus placements every year. The highest package offered in our batch was 15 LPA, and the lowest offered package was 4 LPA. The average package offered was 5 LPA. Around 80% of students get on-campus internships.
Placements: Various placements drives were conducted by the placement cell, from which almost 40% students got placements. Average package offered was around 3-6 LPA. Top recruiters were from medical fields. Top roles offered were Biochemist, Physicist, etc.
Placements: Many companies, like Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, etc., come for placements. The average package is 3–4 LPA and the highest for our course was 13 LPA. Various companies offer internships as well and the number of students getting placed depends on their performance.
Placements: In our college, almost 70% of students got placed. Top recruiting companies like HSBC, Target, IBM, Deccan Herald, TCS, etc., visited our campus. The highest salary package, the lowest salary package, or the average salary package depended on our course.
Placements: Over 75% of students are placed. They should do other courses with BCA. The highest salary package is 7 LPA, and the lowest is 3 LPA. The top recruiting companies include E&Y. Around 75% of students got internships from our college.
Placements: Around 90% of students were placed last year. Our College offers 100% placement. As I am studying in 1st year, we are getting a lot of internship opportunities by companies which are available for all the students. There is a separate department called the placement cell which looks after the placements which we need to sign up in third year. Our college is best for campus placements for commerce students. It has a good reputation regarding placements.
Placements: Placements are provided from the college but we need to have minimum number of students willing to join the placements then only they provide us the facilities. So we need many students to give their names. We do not have placements and this is the sad part about this college.
Placements: In our course, almost 95% of the students who applied for placements, got placed. The highest salary package offered was 6 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 3.10 LPA. Therefore the ROI is worth it, making an average package of around 4 LPA. Top recruiting companies are KPMG, Goldman Sachs, EY, and Morgan Stanley. Apart from this, one of the most famous internships in our college was offered by Goldman Sachs to 6 of our batchmates from which 5 got selected. Our course being B.Com hon...
Placements: It is a great college for placements. If you are in courses other than journalism, there aren't many companies from broadcast, print or electronic media recruiting students from journalism courses. There is a placement cell, which helps and trains students for interviews and recruitments.
Placements: Comparatively, placements are the worst for masters as very few companies visit here for the same. The highest salary package offered is around 3.5 LPA-15 LPA. Ernst & Young, Byju's, AIG and ANZ are amongst top recruiters for our course. Sales and marketing courses get the highest salary packages, followed by finance and accounts. There are very little internships. Most common roles offered here are audit, analyst, business executive, sales representative and also few other jobs like such. Baris...
Placements: Around 40% of students got placed in my course. The highest package was Rs. 400000, the lowest was Rs.216000 and the average package was Rs.240000 KPMG and EY are the top recruiting companies in my course. As per my course, it's mandatory for all the students to take up internships. Roles related to HR, marketing, finance are offered in my course.
Placements: Less than half of the students got placed in companies from our college. We were privy to many competitive companies, but a few top-tier companies were not part of the placements. I wish to see more fortune 500 companies visiting Mount Carmel College, and roles offered mostly include accounting roles. Our college can approach more digital marketing companies and expand their horizons for commerce students.
Placements: A lot of students who pursued journalism got into top news companies. Others went onto to do further studies in psychology and English. Around 65-70 students were part of the batch. Not sure about the salary package offered. Almost everyone found good internships.
Placements: Around 30% of the students got placed in campus recruitment from our course. The highest salary offered was around Rs. 35,000 per month, the average salary offered was Rs. 30,000 per month and the lowest salary offered was Rs. 25,000 per month. Top recruiting companies were KPMG, EY, Deloitte, PWC, Accenture, etc. Top roles offered were audit assistant, chief accountant, etc.
