Effectiveness of Placement Cell for BE/BTech Courses at Nalanda Institute of Technology

Based on the reviews and feedback from students and alumni, here's an assessment of the effectiveness of the placement cell for BE/BTech courses at Nalanda Institute of Technology:

* Limited campus recruitment: According to several reviews, only 4 companies visited the campus for placements, offering limited opportunities to students.

* Lower salary packages: The highest salary package offered was INR18,000 per month, while the lowest was INR12,000 per month.

Real fact about my college.
Placements: In our course, about 30% of students were placed. Top recruiting companies like JSW and Tata came to our college. The highest package was 3.5 LPA, the lowest was 2 LPA, and the average package was 2.8 LPA. There was no internship provided by our college, but an industrial visit was held. The top role offered was design and development.
Infrastructure: There are good facilities at my college, but not as good as Tier 1 colleges. The classrooms are well maintained but do not have air conditioning. There is a limited amount of equipment available in the college, and there is a well-stocked library. The hostel facilities are quite good, but the rooms are small and comfortable during the summer session. The food is average, with three meals a day and non-vegetarian options five days a week.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful, and they were all M.Tech and Ph.D. qualified. The teaching quality was average, but the course curriculum was relevant to making students industry-ready. The semester exams were not difficult, with 80% of the questions coming from previous years' papers. The pass percentage was 90%.
Other: I chose this course because I wanted to join and work in the industry, and this course allows you to work with real-world applications. However, the teaching quality and syllabus need to be improved, as they are currently teaching a 10-year-old syllabus. On the plus side, the campus celebrates many events and festivals, and government scholarships are available for SC and ST caste students.

I think it is a very good college for my course.
Placements: Every year in my course, 85% of the students were placed in good companies. The highest package was 7.5 lacs, and the lowest package was 2 lacs, etc. The recruiting companies are TATA, Mahindra, vehicle companies, etc. 60% of the students got internship from my course in TATA, Mahindra, etc. Top roles like manager, HR manager, etc. are offered.
Infrastructure: The good infrastructure was very good but I think it should be better. There are lots of facilities like wi-fi, good classrooms, central library, works hope, etc. The hostel was so good because each of the three student had one room allotted, and every room have separate study tables and chairs. canteen food was not so good; it is adjustable. There is lots of area to play games like cricket, volleyball, badminton, basketball and also indoor games like carrom and chess.
Faculty: The teachers were very good and very supportive and the most important thing was that they were not affirmed to try something for study techniques. The maximum number of students were ready for any kind of placement because our training was so good. I think it was not so hard some times. The semester gives you challenges and confidence to make a good score and the other percentage level is 80%.
Other: Because I am interested in typical machines like vehicles, there are many types of machines, and I like designing the vehicles. The best thing is that it was a fully practical job and the interesting part is that we made it a new thing to make human life easier. I think my college has fewer practical instruments so I think the most exclusive and important things were involved in our course. There are lots of parties, and festivals are organised very well and everyone is enjoying this type of celebration.
