The college is value for money, but exposure is very limited.

Placements: Almost 100% of placements are provided, but the packages are limited. The highest package goes up to 9.5 LPA, the lowest package is 5 LPA, and the average package is almost 6 LPA. Most of the students get campus placements here. Maintain a CGPA of 7 and above, and you'll be placed here with 6-8 LPA.

Review of National Institute of Foundry and Forge Technology.

Placements: Approximately 60-65% of the students got placed. The highest salary package offered was 8 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 3 LPA, and the average salary package offered was 3.5 LPA. Maruti, KPMG, Tata Motors were the top recruiting companies in our course. Roles pertaining to foundry technology, production engineering, and non-tech roles related to consulting were offered. The college is good enough, if not getting a decent branch in IITs, NITs, BITSs or BIT Mesra.

Placements: Here, the placements are good. The companies like Tata Motors, Tata Metallics, Hindalco, KPMG, Vedanta, etc., regularly come here. Most of them do not pay much. You can expect salaries of 2-7.5 lakhs per annum. The students were primarily offered the role of graduate engineering trainee. The average salary is around 3.5 lakhs per annum. The placements for the senior batch 2017 pass out were good enough. Most of them were placed. The best option for the metallurgy students is to prepare for GATE ...

College typically offers degree only in two uncompetitive branches namely manufacturing engineering and materials and metallurgical engineering. College is average in classroom program, below than average in labs but fantastic hostel facilities still no official LAN or Wi-Fi connection till 2015. College will neither give any exposure nor boost to one's career due aging faculty members and their boring teaching skills, though lot of politics among faculty members and an about two decade out date...

One of the best college for metallurgy branch, only college for foundry & forge sectors. So vast demand of NIFFT students in industries. Our alumni is at top post of many companies also faculties in top colleges of India & abroad. Bad thing is faculty. No support to students & they don’t help in to companies visit in campus all efforts by students with the help of alumni. No canteen to chill out & less girls join this college because of stream problem (prefer CS/IT) & city (Ranchi). They think R...
