This college will make you industry ready that will never let you get in trouble in the Industry. It just that people have to do little hard work here other than that everything is fine
Placements: So people who choose the knitwear course in NIFT depend on the rank they've scored and their category, as there is a reserved category besides general. A lot of top recruiting companies come since it's India's top fashion college, like Puma, Nike, Adidas, and more. Almost 85% of students get recruited. The starting roles are mostly designers, as far as I've heard from Nift students I know.
Placements: The placements in college vary from year to year; usually, about 90% of students get placed, but it's not always through college placements. The course offers various understandings of various subjects like production marketing, management, merchandising, and much more. You get to learn the back end of the fashion industry.
Placements: There is a separate department for the students' placement that helps the students with their placement process. Companies like Amazon, Flipkart, Reliance, Adani, etc. are coming for the campus placement. The college also provides internships to the students.
Placements: In our college, almost 85% of students are placed. The highest salary package offered is 24 LPA. The lowest salary offered is Rs. 20,000 per month and the average salary offered is Rs. 24,000 per month to Rs. 35,000 per month. Top roles offered are textile design, fashion design, accessory design, digital work, etc.
Placements: In this college, our seniors are at good firms. Trident and Ikea are some companies that offer jobs here. Students need good networking to know more about the placements, but it is central during placements.
Placements: Internships are mainly from garment manufacturing companies in Bangalore, Mysore etc. Students got placements according to their academic performance and professional skills. Garment industry is competitive than any other industry. NIFT students are exposed to industry from the start of their classes.
Placements: Around 80% of the students from our course got placed through on-campus placements. The highest salary package offered in our course is 5 LPA, while the lowest salary package offered is 3 LPA. Top recruiting companies for our course are mostly export houses. Top roles offered in our course are print designers.
Placements: I passed out of NIFT Bangalore in the year 2017. The campus placement was average. Not everyone in my batch got placed through campus placement. But eventually, everyone got a job offer within 3 months. The highest package (Domestic) - 9 LPA, the highest package (International) - 21 LPA and avg Package (Domestic) - 3.6 LPA, the lowest package (Domestic) - 2.4 LPA. Top recruiters were Landmark group, Uniqlo Reliance industries, PVH (Tommy Hilfiger Calvin Klein), Shahi Exports, Laguna Clothing, Ar...
Placements: Placements weren't great in 2016. Very few students from our class got a job through campus placements, and even I was one of those because of the specialised field I have pursued. Companies that visited our college weren't great, and NIFT is well known for providing good jobs. The college-level is degrading, and they are unable to invite good companies for placements.
Placements: Placements were fine. Still college can keep a check on minimum pay scale offered by the recruiters. Almost everyone who SAT for placements got placed. The starting package was around 2.4 LPA and the highest grabbed was 5 LPA. College should be wise to welcome the companies that come for placements.
Placements: The placements in our campus are good. Almost all the students get pre-placement offers from the companies they intern for in the final semester. But, if they don't get pre-placement, a lot of companies come to the campus for placement. Almost 90% of the students get jobs from campus placements.
Placements: The placements are fine. There is not much saturation in the industry. The industry is already filled with our alumni, and the companies will demand the students from the specialised backgrounds to work rather than hiring engineers. High profile companies hire the students. The packages are fine to start with.
Placements: Two years ago, placements were good as compared to the previous year. This time, around 75% students got placement. The maximum package offered to the students was 20 LPA, where the minimum was 1.2 LPA. Three start-up companies were there to hire the students. More than 12 labels visit for placements. Many established designer's brands also come here to hire. There is startup support also, for those who want to start their own startups.
Placements: It's too early for me to comment on placements but talking to some college seniors has given me an overview. The placements starts after the 8th semester after the completion of graduation project. A good number of companies 8-10 come for the on campus placements and almost 70% students get recruited. Some students also get placed off campus through pre placement offers. The average package range between 6 Lacs-20 Lacs per annum. Students can apply for internships in any year but it's better to ...
Placements: The placements were really bad . Due to change in policy we only had option to select 5 companies.and 4 companies that I applied did not even showed up.the placement scenes were good food FC students.most of the companies came for UI/UX designers and store managers
