Placements: One of the best things about our college is the placement opportunities they offer. Our college has an active placement body that brings some of the topmost companies such as Titan, BlackBerry, Fabindia, and Myntra. Students get offered packages up to 8LPA to 20LPA depending on the job roles.
Placements: Our faculty and curriculum encourage us to do internships for better exposure. About 80-90% of students get placed from my course, M.FTech, as well as others. NIFT Delhi has an active placement cell that brings in a number of top companies such as Adidas, Nike, Myntra, etc.
Placements: The placement cell at our college is very hardworking and collaborates with a number of top companies such as Myntra, Adidas, Fabindia to provide us with good job opportunities. Our college also encourages us to take up internships for greater exposure to the industry. The average package ranges between 6LPA to 15LPA.
Placements: In my course, about 95% of the students get placed in the industry. The highest salary offered was 8 LPA, and the lowest was 4 LPA. Top recruiting companies such as Fabindia, Myntra, Nike, etc., visit the campus for placements and offer various positions in the fashion industry.
Placements: Our college has one of the placement cells that collaborates with some of the topmost companies such as () to offer great job opportunities to its students. Students so far have been recruited as event managers, fashion journalists, fashion stylists, fashion coordinators, and consultants. The highest package offered till now was between 10-12 LPA.
Placements: About 70-90% of the students get placed at NIFT, Delhi every year. The placements in NIFT are centralized for all centers and disciplines. The average salary package is between 5-6 lacs per annum (LPA). Some of the top companies, such as H&M, ITC LRBD, Adidas, Nike, Arvind Mills, Creatnet, Madurai Garments, etc. Visit our college for recruitment.
Placements: There are 42 students in our fashion communication batch. Last year I saw a student got package of 5 Lacs/annum for visual merchandising post by the company, Buffalo. Students have to seek internship by their own. All classes and resource centre are under surveillance.
Placements: I would say around 40% of the students got placed, the highest was around 9.5 and the lowest was around 5. Top recruiters being Reliance and Arvind Groups famous publishing houses. Major roles being Graphic designer and marketing. Since FC covers wide area, it has really good scope in future.
Placements: The highest percentage of students placed is 60%. The highest package offered was 1,00,00,000 and the lowest package offered was 40,00,000 and the average package was 50,00,000. The percentage of students who gets internship is 100%. Top roles offered was of a graphic designer.
Placements: Not many students got placed this year because the pandemic has affected the industry very adversely. Everyone got an internship, and students did their graduation projects successfully. I feel there should be a placements council in the college, which consists of some students as well.
Placements: Accessories design is a versatile department, offering various paths to its students. Students from the accessories design department from NIFT are placed into various industries such as fashion accessories, retail, product, industrial design, jewellery, styling, etc.
Placements: NIFT provides better placements in the fashion industry than any other fashion institute. However, in the previous year, the placement percentage went down drastically to around 30% only. College says that this was because many students got offers through pre-placement outside and some didn't attend for placements for reasons like pursuing higher studies or some planned to open a start-up their own. Among the recruiting company, most of them were start-ups and emerging brand and hardly any popul...
Placements: Our college has the worst placements ever. I heard it since the past 3-4 years, but this time, when I happened to attend the placements, it was a nightmare. Not that students didn't get placed, it's just that we weren't satisfied with the pay they offered. It was humiliating as we have shed our sets and blood for 4 complete years ruining our sleep, and then we get a pay which isn't worth our talent.
Placements: The placements were really bad in the year 2017 ( specifically for Textile Design students). The scenario was so bad that after the wait of 2 days just a single company arrived to hire T. D. Students (just 2). Students were annoyed and frustrated. It was a wait not worth.
Placements: The placements were average but better than our seniors. The highest package was 35k and the lowest was 18k-20k per month. Design houses like Pankaj and Nidhi, Group indigo visited the campus. Export houses like Orient craft and Cheer sagar also visited. The roles offered to the students were as Assistant designer and Merchandisers. 65% approximately got internship from college but mostly were unpaid. Yes there was a specific group of students managing the placements.
Placements: Placements here are good, as per industry standard than any other NIFT, it gives you a platform for your hardwork. Off campus approach is also encouraged by the faculty, as they have the contact of most industry people. A lot of bigshot companies come here along with many designers, who personally come to see your work and select a few candidates. (Like Sabyasachi).
We have the best faculty members in all over India teaching us fashion since 27 years. The classroom environment is excellent. Although there is a lot of pressure of assignments, it prepares us for the tough competition in the industry. There are a few drawbacks to the campus being really small, no hostel facilities on campus, and too much fees. But these are being worked upon, except for the fee factor.
National Institute of Fashion Technology is best know for its graduation course in fashion studies, but one of its lesser known post graduate course is Masters in Design. It is an open-ended research oriented course and is totally apt and fulfilling for people who love to study and would want to explore different arenas of design. This course is open to graduates across various disciplines. Students often think that when enrolling for this course they will design and sew garments but it is not t...
Placements: Students should score 65% to get choosable courses. The highest salary package offered ranges between 10 LPA - 12 LPA. The average salary package offered was 6 LPA.
