The total fee for the B.Des programme at the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) in Mumbai in 2024 is INR 12.77 lakhs. This includes the annual fee for tuition and examinations. The first semester's fee is INR 1,43,000.

The scholarship is only for tuition fees and the student has to take care of the food and lodging expenses.

To be eligible for admission to the Master of Design (M.Des) programme at the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) in Mumbai, you must have passed an undergraduate degree from a law-recognized institution in India, or have an undergraduate Diploma of at least three years from NIFT or NID. The admission process for NIFT Mumbai is conducted annually and is highly competitive. The institute offers undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs in fashion design, textile design, fashion communication, and more. The admission process for NIFT Mumbai typically begins in the month of October and November. Candidates are required to register online on the official website of NIFT. After registration, candidates must appear for the NIFT entrance exam which is conducted in two stages: written test and situation test. - For the B.Des program: The total fees for the entire course might range from around ?8-10 Lacs (for the entire duration of four years).

- For the M.Des program: The fees could be approximately ?4-6 Lacs for the entire course duration (two years).

- For the MBA program: The fees might range from ?6-8 Lacs for the entire course (two years).
