I am dissatisfied because lecture rooms are small, and hostels are also small.

Placements: Around 80%-90% of students got placed from our course. The highest salary package offered is around 30 LPA. Samsung, Adobe and Deloitte visit our college for the recruitment process. Top roles offered here are software development engineers. Abode visits here mainly to hire girls. The internship rate is less from our college.

Faculty members are very good. The campus needs to be improved, and placements are also not good.

Placements: Placements of our college are not good because of its location, which is in Srinagar, Garhwal, Uttarakhand, which is a hilly area. So any company don't want to come here. Very fewer students from our college get campus placements.

Our campus needs to be improved.

Placements: In our college, the placement rate is not good because it is located in a remote and hill area. The highest salary package offered in our course was 15 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 6 LPA. The company which select students from our college is BSNL. About 50% of the students got internships from our college.

It is not the best place to settle for but it's NIT.

Placements: My batch was of 2014, electrical and electronics engineering. Almost 50% students were placed in my course and some were preparing for GATE and other government exams. The highest package was around 15 Lacs and the lowest was around 3 Lacs. In my course core company was bpcl, l&t, and some other software company were there. Top roles offered were of manager. The highest package in my course was around 9 Lacs and the lowest and average were 3 Lacs and 3.3 Lacs. Almost all the students got interns...

Infrastructure and placements are not good. Teachers are quite good.

Placements: About 20 % of the students got placed. The highest salary package offered was 9 LPA. The average salary package offered was 6 LPA. Companies like Larsen & Tubro, Bridge and Roof construction company visited our campus for placements. Role of vice president of the college, general secretary of the branch was offered to students. The highest salary package offered was 9 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was 3 LPA. The average salary package offered was 5 LPA. There are no internships provide...

I'm satisfied with this college.

Placements: Placements for our batch were quite satisfying when compared with our senior batch. I expect that the placements will improve in the future as well. Companies have actually started showing interest in our college now, and I'm hoping for a better future for the college.

Satisfied with my college experience.

Placements: The placements for our batch were quite decent. Almost 70% of the students got placed with the highest package of 14 LPA. The average package offered was 5.5 LPA. Companies that visited our college include DirectI, BPCL, Samsung, L&T, Capgemini, Wipro, IBM, IndiaMart etc.

NIT UK review 2018 batch 1.

Placements: Placement rate is increasing yearly. Companies are also coming fairly. But the problem is with the outgoing batch that they do not show that much interest in placements. So when companies comes for any drive only less no. Students take chance on that.

It is a good institute if you have plans, but if you want best, you need to look for other options.

Placements: The companies such as L&T do come here but still not that much for mechanical. If you are interested in coding, there are a lot of opportunities (especially when you want to go for MBA, where it's good to have your horizontals strong rather than you're verticals).

A place to do engineering with the natural environment.

Placements: Nowadays, the placement percentage in my college is increased. The average package offered was around 4-5 lacs per annum. The companies like Wipro, came last year. It's average college for the placement. Nowadays, the placement cell is working hard. They are inviting companies in the campus. The companies like ITC selected some students in the last year with the package of 6-8 lacs per annum. Overall, the placements are more than average.

Temporary but an awesome college.

Placements: The average package offered is of 4-5 lacs. But, if you are a talented student, then you will get 8 lacs plus package. This year, my senior got a package of 12 lacs. And some got good rank in GATE. About 10 to 15 companies come every year and increasing the number of placements.

The college is improving day by day.

Placements: Considering being a newly established institute, the placement is fine. On an average, 40 to 50% students were placed last year. The placements are improving year by year. Mostly IT companies come like Wipro, Infosys, Capgemini etc. But this year, core companies also came like L&T and BPCL. The highest offer is given by BPCL of 13.5 LPA to 2 EEE, 2 mechanical and 1 CSE student. The reason for low placements is its location.

Good thing about the college is that you gets a brand name NIT and all the activities and other things is more than enough. But the main drawback is it’s established in 2010 so its new NIT and the strength of the batch is less because of new branch and the placement is like that only.

NIT Uttarakhand is the best place to build up our life.

Placements: Placement in our university is assured. Companies visit the college for placement in the last year. Many companies offer job for the students in our college. They take an interview to check the ability of students and hire as per capabilities.

It is a college for students to gain knowledge.

Placements: Placements are yet to come for our batch, but we have viewed the placements of our senior batch, which were quite good. The highest on-campus salary package offered to CSE students was 10 LPA by Ecolite company. The average salary package offered was 8.8 LPA and the lowest salary package offered was 8.2 LPA. However, for our super senior batch, the highest salary package offered to the student was 30 LPA, but he denied it and chosen for a 15 LPA package.
