The infrastructure and administration of the college were disappointing.

Placements: Almost 70%-80% of the students of our batch were placed in various IT companies. When compared to previous years, there were a lot of chances for students to grab. The highest salary package was offered by BPCL to a few of the top rankers of our college. But due to the location of the campus, a few companies were unwilling to visit here. So, those companies are conducting pool placement drives in other colleges.

NIT with a lot of problems.

Placements: Placements in the college are not that good as the college is facing many difficulties due to its location. Many companies don't visit the campus because of travel issues. The nearest airport is almost 120 km away from the institute. However, the students of the computer science department get placed in most of the companies.

Review of NIT Uttarakhand.

Placements: Although I'm a student of NIT Uttarakhand, I worked in some of the college clubs. If you are choosing CSE, then you can expect placements. It's just very difficult for the students of other branches to get placed. There is no coaching for GATE, CAT and thus it's quite difficult for students to complete their course.

Satisfied with my college experience.

Placements: The placements for our batch were quite decent. Almost 70% of the students got placed with the highest package of 14 LPA. The average package offered was 5.5 LPA. Companies that visited our college include DirectI, BPCL, Samsung, L&T, Capgemini, Wipro, IBM, IndiaMart etc.

NIT UK review 2018 batch 1.

Placements: Placement rate is increasing yearly. Companies are also coming fairly. But the problem is with the outgoing batch that they do not show that much interest in placements. So when companies comes for any drive only less no. Students take chance on that.

NIT Uttarakhand placement and infrastructure.

Placements: 4 Lacs average package. Life in NIT is very comfortable if you are from COMP. Their packages are also very good. If you are sincere enough you can easily get good package. E-Commerce giant such as Microsoft visited the campus and offer a packages of 8 LPA. Banking companies such as Citi Corp, Credit Suisse, Goldman sachs, Barclays offer packages of 6 LPA. NVIDIA, HP, Symantec, Visa also visited the campus and offer packages in the range of 8-o LPA. Average package of Comp IT student is 6-7LPA. T...

Dissatisfied due to infrastructure, good ratio of placmnt in CSE.

Placements: The placements of CSE department is quite good but when it comes about the other departments, it is not up to the mark. Only 20% students got placed in this session. This is due to the remoteness of the college. Placement cell works effectively for the betterment of the college but not much companies visit the place.

It is a good institute if you have plans, but if you want best, you need to look for other options.

Placements: The companies such as L&T do come here but still not that much for mechanical. If you are interested in coding, there are a lot of opportunities (especially when you want to go for MBA, where it's good to have your horizontals strong rather than you're verticals).

A good college for engineering.

Placements: Various companies come every year, and every average student gets placed with the good package, and even some PSUs are also coming nowadays, after 2016. Students always complain that core companies do not come to campus, but here, some good core companies come and provide placement to a good number of students.

A place to do engineering with the natural environment.

Placements: Nowadays, the placement percentage in my college is increased. The average package offered was around 4-5 lacs per annum. The companies like Wipro, came last year. It's average college for the placement. Nowadays, the placement cell is working hard. They are inviting companies in the campus. The companies like ITC selected some students in the last year with the package of 6-8 lacs per annum. Overall, the placements are more than average.

An interface with NIT, Uttarakhand.

Placements: I have been placed in Xebia IT Architects. As this is a full software development company, I am honoured to work with this organisation. The placement was good as our institute focuses on the overall development of any student. The placement of our institute is average.

Temporary but an awesome college.

Placements: The average package offered is of 4-5 lacs. But, if you are a talented student, then you will get 8 lacs plus package. This year, my senior got a package of 12 lacs. And some got good rank in GATE. About 10 to 15 companies come every year and increasing the number of placements.

I am satisfied with my adventurous college life. Absolutely dissatisfied with the bad placements.

Placements: For my senior batch students, the highest package is 20 lakhs per annum, and the lowest package is 2.5 lakhs. L&T, Capgemini, Yodli India Mart, Samsung, etc. The role offered was the programmer, so except CSE branch, the remaining students don't know the programming. 10% of the people went for the internship. The average stipend is Rs.6000.

A good college if a big campus is not your primary requirement.

Placements: The placements are decent here. In spite of being on a temporary campus, the college has managed to have an average placement of Rs. 5.5 lacs and the highest package of Rs. 13.5 lacs in the academic year 2016-2017. Around 65% of the eligible students were placed and the placement percentage of computer science and engineering students was much higher. In our branch, about 9-10 students had done an internship and they were placed with a very good package. Companies visiting our campus for placeme...

It will be adventure of a lifetime.

Placements: Due to the factor of location, not many companies visit NIT Uttarakhand's campus. But still, IT companies and startups with an average CTC visited and offered jobs to around 30-40% students. The only core company visited was L&T Construction Ltd. Internships were also offered to students by Tech Mahindra. During the upcoming years, the placement quality is surely going to improve.

Although the infrastructure is not so good, the tag of NIT will always be helpful for future.

Placements: Being in the mechanical department, there were no private core companies on the board as such for the placements. But there were companies like L&T Construction, Wipro, Capgemini and a few other IT companies which hired students from various departments. Also, the major achievement for the college was hiring from BPCL, which hired 5 students from different branches. L&T Construction, despite being the core of civil department, hired 7 students from mechanical department. It also hired students f...

National institute of importance

Placements: This year the highest package on-campus was 15 lakhs per annum and off-campus, it was recorded to be 30 lakhs per annum. The average package was around 4 lakhs per annum. The placement in the IT sector was very nice, and approximately 95% placements were recorded in the CSE department. But the other students who wish to grab job offers in core companies had to worry.

Absolutely satisfied because of the good faculty, placements, co-curricular activities, etc.

Placements: Placements records have been consistently increasing since the opening of the college in 2010. That time there were only three branches available but from our batch, 2013 to 2017 batch has 5 main branches computer science, civil, electronics and communication engineering, electrical and electronics engineering, and mechanical engineering. Nearly 85 % students from CSE and ECE branch are placed in various IT companies like Capgemini, Infosys, Wipro, IBM, Virtusa, Polaris, EXL, etc. which offered ...

NIT Uttarakhand got good placements in 2017.

Placements: After the placements session for 2013-2017 batch of NIT Uttarakhand, we have the average package of 5.5 lakhs per annum with the highest pay of 13.77 lakhs per annum offered by BPCL at the campus placement drive. The students are recruited by various reputed companies like BPCL, L&T ECC, EXL Services, Capgemini, IBM, Yodlee, Wipro, Infosys and much more. This year, BPCL and RVNL( Rail Vikas Nigam Limited) PSUs visited for the campus placements and recruited 5 and 10 of our students respectively....

The college is improving day by day.

Placements: Considering being a newly established institute, the placement is fine. On an average, 40 to 50% students were placed last year. The placements are improving year by year. Mostly IT companies come like Wipro, Infosys, Capgemini etc. But this year, core companies also came like L&T and BPCL. The highest offer is given by BPCL of 13.5 LPA to 2 EEE, 2 mechanical and 1 CSE student. The reason for low placements is its location.
