Dissatisfied by the infrastructure, Cse have good placement, but campus life is poor.

Placements: Placements here at NIT Uttarakhand are quite good for CSE and ECE. Even the highest package recently was received by an ECE student. The overall package is 18-20 LPA for CSE companies. Companies like Accenture and Cognizant visit the campus. Also, NVIDIA and Intel , companies like Microsoft and Google, are rare, but overall placement is good for CSE and ECE. Other branches have a low placement rate.

Absolutely dissatisfied with the college.

Placements: Approx. 60 to 70 percent of students got placed last year in the civil engineering branch and this ratio is the same as for previous years also. 6 to 10 lakh per annum is the range of the package that is offered every year. Top recruiting companies are TCS and L&T. There is a very low percentage of getting an internship in civil engineering.

The college infrastructure is not good, but professors are good and helpful.

Placements: Only a few students are placed. The highest package is 20 LPA, and the lowest is 60 K. Samsung, Infosys, Accenture, Microsoft, etc., are some of the recruiting companies. Till now, only one person got an internship, and that was in Accenture. Roles offered include data scientist, ethical hacking, software developer, AI, and ML, etc.

Life at NIT Uttarakhand .

Placements: The placement and training cell at NIT Uttarakhand has done great work in the past years, helping students get better opportunities in their 3rd years by getting internships from various companies to kickstart their careers in the real world. The placement rate is quite good and the average package for CSE is 14 LPA.

No campus life, many good places to travel nearby, only road connectivity, and good placements.

Placements: Around 80 percent of students were placed. The highest package was 21 lpa, and the average package was 11 lpa. The lowest package was around 5 lpa, probably more than that. The top recruiting companies were Google, Wipro, Adobe, Samsung, etc. Around 7-8 students got internships in our 2nd year batch. From the third year on, many students got internships.

If you do not get other NITs for your rank then you can take admission to this college.

Placements: It is one of the 31 colleges in India. This college was established in 2010 by the Government of India under the NIT Act 2007. The average salary package offered was 8.4 LPA. The highest salary package offered was 33 LPA. The average salary package offered was 8.7 LPA. The maximum salary package offered was 39 LPA. The minimum salary package offered was 26 LPA. It is due to the downfall of the world's economy and other things.

The education is moderate, and the college organises huge vacations with reasonable money.

Placements: About 60% of students got placed from our branch in core as well as IT sectors. The highest package offered is 13 LPA, the average package is 8 LPA, and the lowest package is 5 LPA. L&T, Jio, Intel, Accenture, and Wipro are top recruiters in the core branches. Internships are provided along with PPOs (pre-placement offers), and about 50% of students crack internships in core as well as IT sectors.

I am dissatisfied due to poor placements. It has good placements in 2020 but not in 2021.

Placements: Approximately 30% of the students get placed in the college. Almost 10% of the students got off-campus placements, and some are going for higher studies. The highest salary package offered would be 14 LPA, and the average salary package offered would be 4 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered would be 3 LPA. Almost 5% of the students got internships from the college.

Our institute is in the lap of beautiful mountains.

Placements: I am pursuing computer science and engineering at this college. Placements in our college are good for Computer Science and Engineering stream and other core branches. A good student in their respective branches manages to get good offers in their respective sectors.

It is a good college, but its location is very poor.

Placements: I got admission in 2013 to the mechanical branch here. This is the 4th batch in our college. Due to the location of our college, none of the companies visited here for placements. From the mechanical branch, only 5 students got placed, but they did not get placed in core companies. We try to get a job in different companies on our own. I do not recommend this college to any student.

Review of NIT Uttarakhand - National Institute of Technology.

Placements: I am a mechanical engineering student, and nearly 12-15 students from our course were placed. Majority of them were placed in L&T, and a few of them went in the marketing sector. This year, a few students appeared for internships in marketing and core companies, and a couple of them were selected too.

Students and faculty members are promising although the college has drowned due to local politics.

Placements: I am currently a third year student. Last year our college was shifted from Srinagar (garhwal) to Jaipur and that has offered us immense opportunities in terms of exposure and experience. My seniors are getting good placements due to a significant rise in recruiting companies especially for computer Science trait. Some of them were even placed in research internships in foreign universities. Majority recruiter in our course is capegemini although a few new comes every year or sometimes it doesn'...

Placements are not decent. Infrastructure is poor and faculty is also not good.

Placements: Placements in our college are not very good. Most of the companies that visit the campus are related to computer science. Other than that, most of the mechanical, electrical, electronics and civil engineer students are usually unplaced. Generally most of the computer science engineer students get an average salary package of 5 LPA. The average salary package offered on the campus is 3 LPA.

The college has average faculty, facilities, infrastructure and placements.

Placements: I passed out from college in 2017. Before 2017, placements in college were not much good. Only 35 out of 220 students were placed. However, a proper placement cell was launched after that to arrange placement drives of various reputed organisations. It also focused on preparing students for placements. During 2017, companies like Wipro, Infosys, IBM, TCS, Capgemini, etc., conducted placement drives in the college. Almost 120 out of 220 students were placed. Mostly, computer science and electroni...

If you are comparing this college with other NITs, then don't choose this college.

Placements: Placements in college are not very good. However, they are better than any private college if you have the required skills. If you are a CSE student, you would get ample job opportunities. Else you need to be hardworking and hope for a bit of luck. Being located in such a remote location, NITUK provides a platform for students by collaborating with the leading institutes and organisations for providing internships and training programs for students. Only 6 students out of 52 students got placed ...

Review of NIT Uttarakhand - National Institute of Technology.

Placements: Placements are mediocre, with the highest salary package being 8-10 LPA, and the lowest salary package being 3.5-4 LPA. Companies are mainly of the IT sector, providing a minimum scope for the students of other branches. Companies like L&T Construction often visit our college and hire students of the civil department, that too, only boys. The T&P cell needs to work more on its policies regarding placements. The placement rate of CSE and ECE branches is up to 85%, as they have a strong background...

The infrastructure and administration of the college were disappointing.

Placements: Almost 70%-80% of the students of our batch were placed in various IT companies. When compared to previous years, there were a lot of chances for students to grab. The highest salary package was offered by BPCL to a few of the top rankers of our college. But due to the location of the campus, a few companies were unwilling to visit here. So, those companies are conducting pool placement drives in other colleges.

NIT with a lot of problems.

Placements: Placements in the college are not that good as the college is facing many difficulties due to its location. Many companies don't visit the campus because of travel issues. The nearest airport is almost 120 km away from the institute. However, the students of the computer science department get placed in most of the companies.
