Qualified and experienced faculty with good environment for students.
Placements: Approximately 40 percent of students are getting placed. The highest package offered here is 5-6 lakh and the lowest 2-3 lakh per annum. Top recruiting companies are Infosys, Wipro, Amazon, TCS, and many more. Finance manager and data analyst are the top roles offered.
Infrastructure: The college has air-conditioned rooms, an e-library, computer labs, personalized reading rooms in each department, a well-furnished auditorium with a capacity of over 800 people, a sports ground, a canteen that offers a variety of dishes and beverages, an NSS organization, a hostel with air-conditioned rooms, internet access, medical facilities, a very hygienic mess, and a guest house for parents.
Faculty: Faculty here are highly qualified and very helpful for either career-related or academic-related issues. They provide quality of lectures over quantity. Teachers willingly ask students to get involved in class and try their best to make the lectures interactive and put up the different types of queries.
Other: A B.Sc. in Computer Science provides the practitioner with deep knowledge in computer science, of course far away from computer application, in which there is only the application of technology. Unlike this, computer science provides the core of computers. Apart from that, it provides a deep knowledge of statistics, as in my case I want to pursue a career as a data analyst, so it is beneficial to me both ways. And my third subject is mathematics.

I am satisfied with this college.
Placements: The placement team of our college works hard to organise the screening and other rounds for students, who fill out the placement form. Around 10% of students got placed in our college because many students don't fill out the form. The placement percentage of our college is not much good.
Infrastructure: Our college has two buildings, one is the science block, and another is the academic block. The science block considers B.Sc., BCA courses, etc. The academic block has B.A., B.Com, PG courses, etc. The library is attached to the academic block.
Faculty: The science block professors are working hard for their studies. Teachers are helpful only to third-year students because they get familiar with the students. MCQs won't come in the examination. There is only a written exam.

The teaching quality in our college is amazing.
Placements: 25% of students got placed in our college. 3.8 LPA was the highest package, 1.5 LPA was the lowest, and 2.7 LPA was the average package offered. HCL, TCS, Think Computers, PVR, Justdial, Decathlon, etc., came here. 5-6% of students got internships. Business development executive, sports leader, etc., roles are offered. The placement cell has improved in the past few months. Many new opportunities are coming for students to avail.
Infrastructure: Labs are well-equipped. There are four labs for computers in which only two of them are provided with AC, while the other two labs are in really hot spaces. The classrooms are large enough to accommodate all students, but the board is not visible to the person sitting in the back seat. Hostel facilities are good, and medical facilities are provided. A sports event is also held. Howsoever, the mess food is costly.
Faculty: The teachers are well qualified, helpful and knowledgeable too. They help us in need and explain each concept thoroughly without reluctance. Concepts are thoroughly explained. The course curriculum is also quite relevant, making us industry-ready. Semester exams are difficult, and the pass percentage is 40%.
Other: I chose this course as I wanted to opt for the government sector, civil services. The subject I chose fills the requirement. The best thing about my course is that it is efficient enough and covers all scientific concepts and technological knowledge. Many social events take place in the college. The campus surroundings are good.

Our college provides very good infrastructure and placements.
Placements: Google visited our campus for placement in the previous year. Our college offers very good placements, and many companies visit the campus for placements. There is a different cell that looks for placements. Almost every student gets placed. Many MNCs visit the college for placements.
Infrastructure: Hostel infrastructure is good, with Wi-Fi availability. We also have a hostel gym and ground to play. Different sports activities are held like inter-college cricket championship, football, hockey, and various other sports take space in every 3-4 months.
Faculty: Our college has very good teaching faculty members. They are very well qualified, educated and friendly. They help every student in their studies and are also very supportive. Our college has different cells for physics, chemistry, and other departments.

Worth your money and effort, an excellent place to be a part of
Placements: There are about 6 companies that visited our campus such as British telecom, Aon which offered the salary packages of 1.2 LPA to 2.5 LPA. There are about 120 students who got placed out of 500 students. The students were not interested, due to the jobs offered, which are mainly of BPO, sales agents with either low salary or odd timings and locations. The jobs offered required proficiency in English followed by a basic aptitude test. But the good thing is that our faculty members genuinely tried hard that each and every student got a placement. The student placed in one company is not allowed to take part in another company so each and every student at least gets an opportunity. But the rule is not followed by everyone. The number of companies that visited our college increases year by year. Our placement cell deserves the credit as they try very hard to ensure that more companies visit our campus.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure (Pros and Cons) Cons :- The campus is very small (area-wise) as compared to other colleges. The canteen area lacks the place to sit and is usually too crowded. In summer there is no place to sit and relax. All classes are usually occupied and open spaces are too hot. No Wi-Fi is available on the campus. No bus is there for the students. Pros :- The laboratories are fully functional with high-quality instruments (4 computer labs, 1 physics lab, 1 chemistry lab). All labs are fully air-conditioned. The college is situated in the heart(main area) of Lucknow. The transportation cost is minimized. The library is equipped with all the books as per the course requirement. There are 2 hostels(one for boys, one for girls) with AC and non-AC. An AC reading room (quiet and clean) where you can sit and read the books that are available in the library. A ground is also available for cricket players, where anyone can play in free time. The classrooms are spacious with proper arrangements. They are neat, clean and airy. There is also an availability of pure drinking water, clean washrooms, and free parking space. A variety of dishes is available in the canteen.
Faculty: The faculty is knowledgeable and many of them have even written their own books. The faculty team is extremely disciplined and strict. They never come late to the class and are rarely absent. They even clear students doubt about subjects in their free time. Around 75% attendance in the class is mandatory if not, then students will have to submit their reasons. There are two semesters in a year and in a semester there are two unit tests, a total of four unit tests in a year for each subject (each of 10 marks and extra 10 marks for class performance, projects.), so internal marks are 30 and the external marks are 70 for each subject. The industry visits are held as per the requirement of subjects The external exams are conducted within the college. The marking is a bit tough.
Other: If you wish for a disciplined and strict college life, this place is for you. It will be worth your money and effort. An entrance test is conducted for admission and is mandatory to pass. If you get a good rank, then you get a regular seat and if not, then you get a self-finance seat.

Success Rate of Placement Cell for B.A. Students

Unfortunately, based on the reviews and testimonials from students and alumni, it appears that the placement cell at National Post Graduate College (NPGC) is not effective in securing jobs for B.A. students. Here's what we found:

    * No placements: Some students mentioned that there were no placements available for the B.A. course during their tenure.
    * Internship programs available for PG courses only: Although the college offers internship programs for certain subjects like psychology, these programs seem to be limited to postgraduate students and not available for undergraduate B.A. students.
    * Rarely provided placements: One student mentioned that placements are rarely provided at the college, which suggests that the placement cell may not be actively working towards placing students in jobs.

Overall, it seems that the placement cell at NPGC has limitations in terms of providing job opportunities for B.A. students. Therefore, we would advise prospective students to consider alternative options when choosing a college for higher studies.
