This college is way behind the other colleges in terms of placement.

Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure of the college were decent. There was Wi-Fi in the hostel and college campus. Classrooms and library were fully air-conditioned and clean. Hostel rooms had single bed, mattress, wardrobe, balcony, but they were no air-conditioners. We had common washroom and bathroom on each floor of the hostel. Sports facilities were quite good as the college has its basketball court, badminton court, football ground and table tennis court. It has its newly built simulator. The qua...

Realities of the Unknown!

Infrastructure: Next to perfect facilities. Cleanliness and hygiene were given due importance and significance. God food in the canteen, nice playing areas for all sports, a good auditorium, a perfect fest location, everything was in place.

A reputed college known for producing great power engineers.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is good as it is funded by the central government. Mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation labs have sufficient and good quality instruments. Classrooms were very basic for the B.Tech course, but the PGDC courses had well-furnished AC classrooms. The college is located right in the city's centre, so all the amenities are within reach.

The infrastructure of our college is good.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good. New buildings are also being constructed for future uses. These rooms are provided with air conditioning and glass sealed windows. There are projectors too for the benefit of the students. The hostels are cool too. There are many rooms in the hostel area and guards are present as well.

A short review on National Power Training Institute.

Infrastructure: The classrooms are good. The laboratory is good. The canteen food is the worst. Our campus has a great atmosphere. The hostels are moderate. We have good people in the surroundings of the college. Free medical facilities are available for the students. We have a children playground. The infrastructure is good.

A really good institute to get placed in core sector.

Infrastructure: There are well-equipped labs for various subjects accordingly. There is a good library not only having books but journals and manuals related to powerplant study and operations. There is a medical chamber where we have a regular doctor. There are volleyball court, two badminton courts and one football cum cricket ground. Indoor games like table tennis and carrom are also played. Recently the college building and the hostels are going through renovation. Installation of a 500 MW simulator has bee...

Placements pick up last pace in 2018.

Infrastructure: It is a good Wi-Fi campus, with 2 Mbps speed. There are equipped classrooms. The library is well stocked. There is a doctor on the campus and conveyance to DSP main hospital is there in case of a mishap. Football, cricket, volleyball, table tennis, badminton, carrom facilities, along with the gym are available. Canteen food is manageable but not available currently due to problems. The hostel rooms are very dingy, and the beds are quite old.

B.Tech in PWE stream in all NPTIs has closed from last year, which is a dark side of power engineer.

Infrastructure: The college was good from outside only, and inside, it was a dark hole. The classrooms and the library were average. The sports and games were held by the students only, and the college authority didn't provide any extra effort. There is a slow speed Wi-Fi facility, which is only in the hostel. The students get their meal and dinner from outside. The labs and the hostels were average, and not so Hi-Fi.

When you think of what you got after the four years, it is less indeed but could be improved.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure wise it's somewhat less than appropriate, and especially labs and classrooms are not adequate. Sports, games and some indoor games are available. The ground is smaller in size. The canteen I would say don't rely on it, it runs only two months in a year, lack of management from authorities is the only reason. The hostel rooms are okay but need more maintenance. Now that Wi-Fi is available but you have to cry for it almost every other week. There are issues even in computer labs hav...

Need to upgrade the infrastructure which is in a phase of implementation. The placements are good.

Infrastructure: The college is a semi-government institute with good infrastructure, but need little attention on basic services these days like good Wi-Fi, improved computer labs. Other facilities are good. A new library to increase availability and variety of books, journals along with a simulator lab will be ready near future. The quality food with both vegetarian and non-vegetarian option is available, and the food is good. The hostels are good, junior and senior hostels are different for boys, for girls, t...

Placement and campus life are awesome, you will build a good career and create lots of memories here

Infrastructure: The college is situated at the heart of the city. The infrastructure of this college is very good. All classrooms are air-conditioned and have more than enough seating capacity. The laboratories are just perfect for practical studies. You can obviously learn deeply in these labs as you are free to express yourself there. The whole college campus is covered with a Wi-Fi network and the speed is around 10 Mbps. Inside the campus, there is a football ground, a volleyball ground, a badminton court a...

One of the best for power engineering

Infrastructure: Our college infrastructure was average. We had a good Wi-Fi connectivity and our labs were standard. We have a big playground to support cricket, football and also facilities for indoor games like carrom, table tennis, etc. We have separate hostels but the mess food is not good.

Satisfactory college. College has seen 100% placement till 2014. Better in 2017 compared to 15&16.

Infrastructure: The campus is beautiful and has a healthy environment. The college has Wi-Fi. Even the hostels have one for each building. Big ground to play. Medical facilities are available. Classroom and labs are in very good and working condition. Hostel rooms are very informative. And hostel life is interesting. There is an anti ragging committee and an anti ragging squad.

Average infrastructure and faculty.

Infrastructure: The overall infrastructure of the college is good. It is spacious and offers good space for extracurricular activities as well. The condition of the classrooms and buildings are good. The labs and workshops, however, need better and regular maintenance.
