It’s a govt. college which has unique branch of power engineering. Placements are good and in core companies. Though an improvement in faculty could be done. Infrastructure is also not good and lab facilities could be improved. But since it is applied branch you would get good placements with handy package in the core companies. College lacks a canteen. It is located in the campus of national thermal power corporation Badarpur plant and hence the practical exposure you would get is unparalleled....

I am satisfied with the faculty members, and good placements were provided in 2015.

Placements: Around 60-70% of the students got placed from our batch. Around 60-90% of the students from our senior batch got placed. The highest salary package offered was 6 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 2.4 LPA. Companies like Jindal, Vedanta, Tata Power, etc., also visited our campus for recruitment. There was a placement cell comprising of in-charge and 4 selected students.
