The college has good infrastructure and friendly professors, but academics are up to you.

Placements: The college has a placement cell named NCPR, and they are doing a good job to get the students placed. Most of the IT companies are coming for recruitment and hardly core companies for EEE. Amazon and Zoho deliver good packages, and most of the students are placed in IBM too. If you are good with your quantitative and vocabulary skills, then you will get easily placed, and the college is surely making an effort to make the students get placed. Since Nehru Arts and Science College is there, the p...

Please visit the college and choose.

Placements: They try to place every student. My point of view is near 60% place in placement. The lowest CTC is 1.2 LPA, and the highest CTC is 3.6 LPA. There are no core companies for mechanical and mechatronics. Many it related companies visit and BPO's, for example, TCS, Cognizant, Tech Mahindra, Sutherland's, IBM, these are the big companies.

Absolutely satisfied with the opportunity I got in this college.

Placements: I am Madhan Kumar from Nehru Institute of Engineering and Technology. Our college is very good regarding placements. They give placement training to everybody and help the students for their better future. Our college students were placed in Google in 2015.

This is the condition of average standard private engineering colleges.

Placements: The placements are happening. More students are getting placed in some local small-scale industries, i.e., a salary of Rs.10,000 per month. And, only a few got some good companies. That is the fate of such average standard engineering college. Their motive is to place the students for the minimum salary also. But, it depends on the situation.

Absolutely satisfied because of the faculty and good placements of 2016.

Placements: The placements here were as other colleges, but the companies they bring in, are all IT and BPO only. If you want to join an IT or a BPO, then this is a good college. Technology and laboratory research position offering companies have to come in for the placements. The technological position in recruitment is very important for me from the consideration of my course.

The Nehru Institute for the best future.

Placements: The placements are few, but sure, a lot of MNC BPO will arrive to catch the engineers. You have to prepare well, go to the placement classes and improve your skills. The placements classes are really good. Worth to say alumni of Nehru College.

The best teachers, well-equipped labs, great location, needs improvement in placements.

Placements: The placements for the department of aeronautical engineering are not good. Mostly BPOs visit the campus. The salary offered is not good and usually ranges in between Rs. 8,000 and Rs. 10,000 per month. The companies like Amazon and Tech Mahindra visit the campus which is not suitable for the aeronautical engineering students. My college has an average placement record of 75%. In general, the companies related to aeronautical don't visit the campus. The college has a placement cell which guides ...

An adorable campus which is very nice to walk through the corridors and gardens with friends.

Placements: There is very good placement on the campus. Leading companies visit for picking talented ones. The campus also has a placement training cell known as NCP&IR, Nehru corporate placement and industrial relations which makes a student capable of all placement drives.

I am absolutely satisfied with the college.

Placements: Our college has the best placement team called NCPIR (Nehru Corporate Placement and Industrial Relations) which provides the best companies to the college like Zoho, Amazon, etc., with the average salary package of Rs.20,000 per month. Our placement team will guide to get placed in MNCs.

The college has good infrastructure but the hostels are bad.

Placements: There are more enough tie-ups with the companies to get placed in a sophisticated company with your low CGPA. NCPR team in that college will help us to gain an corporate level knowledge from the first year. So, the placement is great in this college than other in the surrounding area.

The review of the college has the rating 2.5 out of 5.

Placements: The college has the good placements. The middle-class companies visit the campus mostly. The aeronautical placements are rare. Infosys and IT companies mostly visit and hire the good number of students. The biggest companies visit the campus, but it takes the students at the low posts.

Review of NIET - Nehru Institute of Engineering and Technology.

Placements: About 70% of students got placed in 2014 batch. The highest salary package offered was about 5 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 1.02 LPA. Most of the non-core companies visit our campus for placements, and we were directed to off-campus placements for core companies.

Amazingly motivational college forever because of good faculty and good placements.

Placements: The placements for our seniors were very good. 98 percent of students were placed with highest salary package being 5 LPA, and the lowest package being 2 LPA. Some of the companies such as Google, TCS, CTS, Tech Mahindra etc. visit the campus for placements. The students are well trained for placements, and the teachers are good.

Good atmosphere and climate, bad quality of teaching, do not expect much.

Placements: We have a placement cell in our college. But for mechanical engineering, the placements are less. The maximum salary bagged from placement was Rs. 30,000 for a mech student. Many small-scale companies and some core companies, mainly from Coimbatore, are visiting our college. The number of students getting placements in mechanical engineering is minimal.

The college is average and it depends on the interest of the individual.

Placements: They will tell you about the companies but the companies won't come. You will only find some BPOs coming and they are not interested in male candidates. They college will train for the companies if the companies give the job description in advance. They will train for the aptitude, GD, etc.

One of the above average colleges which is highly suited only for an aeronautical engineer.

Placements: Nearly 20% of students got placed but not in their core field, especially in my department. But they will provide the placement training. Maximum students remain unemployed, but the students are efficiently trained by them. In the 2015 batch, 18 students got placed in the campus interview in the reputed company, but they haven't got the call letter yet.

Absolutely happy, was a good experience, will be able to survive in any condition because of this.

Placements: Placement drive was conducted by the college efficiently, but the students were not much skilled for the jobs. Out of many, students with proper communication and subject knowledge were placed in good companies. But still, almost 80% of the total strength was placed. The major recruitment happened for BPO industry, but could have been better if students were skilled and regular. At least 50% of the students were indulged in internships! The main were from EEE and CSE branches. ...

Satisfied about labs but dis-appointed about faculty and placement

Placements: All the campus placements were by call centres. In my class, 3 were placed on off-campus held in another place (college), and almost all others who attended placement drive for Tech Mahindra got placed for voice process with 6000 pm . This was the case of almost all departments and for mechanical branches and there were no core companies. About internship, college was ready to give internship with the help of industrial and placement cell which is created in 2014 but department and HODs were not...

I had started my journey towards this college from Rajapalayam, but many of my contemporaries are not from such backgrounds and we don't know what “Mechatronics” is. The students are not made aware of all the emerging technologies through the basics taught by our mentors. They did not teach things with in-depth knowledge and that made me fascinated towards electronics based automation and control. Though I am not academically sound, this college hasn't given me enough space and facility to devel...

I entered this college due to my interest in mechatronics engineering. When a year passed, this institution has made me feel like it has got a wide horizon where everyone is expected to be an expert in different domains to be a successful person. O Every week, we get counselling from our mentors who teach beyond the classroom. Most of the classes are taken with the aid of PPTs. The institution also encourages students for new and innovative business plans by conducting many events related to it...
