Q:   How successful is the placement cell in securing jobs for B.E. / B.Tech students at NGF College of Engineering and Technology?

    A:
    {Source: B.E. / B.Tech students & alumni}

    Success Rate of Placement Cell

Based on the reviews and feedback from students and alumni, here's an analysis of the success rate of the placement cell:

    * Mixed Feedback: Some students reported that many reputed companies visited the campus, offering salaries ranging from INR6 Lacs to INR10 Lacs per annum. For example, one reviewer mentioned that "Many reputed companies come to the college. Companies such as Infosys, TCS, Wipro and other IT companies come for placements."
    * Average Salary Package: Another reviewer mentioned that the average salary package offered in their college is around INR8-10 LPA.

However, some reviewers had negative comments about the placement cell:

    * Limited Job Opportunities: A few reviewers stated that while some local companies did visit the campus, they often offered low packages, with the highest being INR6 Lacs and the lowest being INR1 lakh.
    * Faculty Support Limited: Some students felt that the faculty didn't prepare them adequately for industry requirements, making it challenging to secure good job opportunities.

Overall, while the placement cell does participate in recruiting students and offers some job opportunities, the success rate seems mixed, with both positive and negative feedback from students and alumni.

Absolutely dissatisfied with the college faculty, labs, and placements.
Placements: This year, only 11 companies came for placement, and all the companies were only for sales. All companies came from Palwal and Faridabad; no one came from Delhi, Gurugram, or any software company. The highest package is around 2.5 to 3 LPA.
Infrastructure: I am a student of B.Tech CSE, and in the lab, most of the computers are outdated. Even these software don't support VS Code, and some computers are not working properly. Even after repeated complaints to the faculty, there is no response. The college provides full Wi-Fi across the campus, but you can only use 25 MB per day if you are lucky. About the library, only older-generation books are available.
Faculty: No teacher is helpful, even my project teacher doesn't know about frontend. Semester exams are not hard, but you will have to study them only from YouTube. If you think this college will make you industry-ready, it won’t. You will have to work on your skills yourself. If you rely on this college, you will never be able to get a good position because neither the faculty is good nor the companies come here.
Other: Scholarships are available in the college, but events don’t happen very fast. Even extracurricular activities in college happen only when someone is doing them with full force. Most of the time, they don't happen. The college focuses mostly on the fines and how to get the best out of the students. I am doing an internship in my 2nd year, and I gave an application for it. Our teacher who had departed from CBE said I should not do the internship and mark attendance in college. Despite talking a lot, they forced me to give a fine, and if I didn’t give a fine, I would not be allowed to sit in my external practicals. I was forced to.

Our college provides a great platform for you.
Placements: Top recruiting companies are HCL, BSNL, Snapdeal, Justdial and many more. The highest package of my course is a maximum of 8 lacs, and the minimum is 2 lacs. The college internship program is fabulous and colleges provide internship programs with stipends and make it easy to achieve your dream job.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure arefabolus. All facility members are available at all times. The hostel facilities are divided into girls hostels and boy hostels. For food mess and canteen are available with all types of food are available veg and non-veg, etc.
Faculty: The teachers, facility members and management were very helpful and lenient. This course is not difficult and the semester exams are too easy. My batch of all students qualified every semester with great marks. the maximum CGPA is 9.7 and the minimum CGPA is 6.1.
Other: I chose this course because I love programming languages and am totally interested in software programming and development. Events and fests are held every semester by different clubs in college.

Not completely satisfied with the college.
Placements: As I just completed my 1st year, I actually don't know about placements, but as asked by a senior, they told me that the college does not have good placement as only excellent students get placed and the students with good and sharp minds get placed in different companies.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is not as good as it should be but not so bad that students can not learn anything interesting, and cooperative students definitely can study here. The library of this college is quite good and there is always a rush in the canteen.
Faculty: Faculty or teachers are well qualified enough to teach students of undergraduate courses; only a few teachers are postgraduates, but the whole faculty is cooperative, and exams are also conducted in a well-mannered manner. The sessional exams are similar to the semester exams.
Other: The college is good for studying; only interested and cooperative students get placement here.

I would recommend not to take admission in this college.
Placements: NGF college doesn't have good placements. Last time about 10 students have been placed with about INR 45 LPA. And remaining with INR 3.6 LPA and 2.4 LPA. Many companies visited the campus like Agro teach, TCS etc. The highest packages from this college was 5 LPA, average was 2.5 LPA and the lowest was like 1.8 LPA.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of this campus is not in good condition. The facility is also not good. The campus have Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, library, canteen, and stationary. The facility of hostel is above average. The hostel rooms have AC rooms and non AC rooms.
Faculty: The teachers are not very helpful at all. The teachers here are qualified of course. But this campus doesn't have a permanent teacher. The students have to do self study as teachers are unable to complete the syllabus so we have to self study. Its quite difficult to pass the semester as the university check the anwer sheet so its is upto on the teacher whether to pass the student or not.
Other: I choose B.Teach Computer Science And Engineering because it is very useful in future and new technologies have been developing day by day. This campus is very active with extracurricular activities like poster competition, freshers party etc.

Faculty is the main problem and also placements arecnot satisfactory.
Placements: The college seems poor in infrastructure and placement. Our college allows only 10 percent of students to be placed in our course. The maximum package our college offers is 5-7 LPA, while it is below the minimum point of 2-3 LPA. All I want to say is that it is a waste of money.
Infrastructure: There is no wireless fidelity for students and labs also have poor infrastructure whereas library is satisfactory and classroom are also average. I am at the last year of my college and I didn't SEE any sports activity whereas food is quite good in the canteen and I didn't know about medical facilities.
Faculty: The teachers at this university are unsatisfactory as they are all hired based on personal connections rather than qualifications. They lack the ability to effectively teach secondary students, resulting in poor teaching quality. Additionally, the semester exams at JC Bose University are extremely challenging, with a pass percentage of only 40%.
Other: I selected this course based on its alignment with my abilities and passion for technology. However, there is room for improvement, such as eliminating subjects that are unrelated to my field of study, as they only add to the workload.

The college should provide good companies in our college for recruitment.
Placements: Students who score a minimum of 70 marks in academics get placed. The salary package offered is overall 1 lakh for 6 months. Industries notice if students work hard or not when they work hard they will maximise the salary of students. Industries test the students.
Infrastructure: The hostel is good. The canteen is not good, and the quality of serving food is very bad. Wi-Fi is not worth it. Labs are good but some labs are very old. The library is so good. The librarian is very humble and good in nature. The park is so good because there is so much neat and clean grass there.
Faculty: The course is difficult. Teachers are very helpful and knowledgeable. They help us and provide a good way to improve our college life. Semester exams are very tough. The university did not provide us with the sample and old previous years' question papers, and students arranged them on their own.
Other: I chose this course because in future the electrical branch will be very useful in the world. All types of electrical vehicles like metro, mono, rapido, and all types of vehicles are used with the help of electrical energy. In the future, there will be more higher scope in this branch. Our college delay fests. The campus has many students from other countries like Nepal, etc. Our college also provides scholarships.
