Student review by 2nd-year student.

Placements: 88% of students were placed in companies through placements. The highest package offered was 22 LPA, the lowest was 5 LPA, and the average package was around 7 LPA. Top recruiting companies included Microsoft, Cognizant, IBM, Oracle, Visa, Wipro, and TCS, with the top roles being entry-level positions.

My honest review which is non-negotiable.

Placements: Everyone got placed from IT branch but only 30% students got placed from core branches. I am expecting that BMW would come to recruit from here. In 2021, the highest package was 21.2 LPA which was offered to 21 students. Core companies should visit the college for recruitment.

Not happy actually coz of poor quality of faculties, outdated syllabus, high fees, unnecessary fines

Placements: Mostly everyone who attended pre placement gets a job in the corporate sector. The salary varies from 4L in hand to 18L in hand, the highest being paid by Amazon but they hardly take 1 or 2 people. They offer position from Technical analyst to editor anything. The average salary in EEE would be 5L. Mostly students get internships in the companies that hire them or otherwise they get some start ups also.

Review of New Horizon College of Engineering.

Placements: The placements record of the college is good. We are proud to announce that a student got placed in Amazon with a salary package of 13 LPA. There is a placements department where you can get any information regarding placements. They also conduct placement training classes. The syllabus includes life skills classes.

It is a good college to spend your 4 years.

Placements: Placements in the college are pretty good. Salary packages offered by the companies start at 3.50 LPA. We have almost 100% placements, and it is our seniors' opinion. One of our seniors got placed in a Japanese company which offered an amazing salary package of 35-45 LPA. We get placement training prior to attend placement drives which is very useful and develops the skills required for our placements.

A good college where one can get good industry exposure with great practical knowledge.

Placements: Placement classes are taken to ensure that students perform well in aptitude exams. Companies visiting our college have been increased. Special attention is taken on personality development, and opportunities are given to everyone. Soft skills classes are taken to improve our vocabulary. They make us perform well in our drive and get a deserving job.

IT and CS is good but not the CIVIL BRANCH.

Placements: Placement is not upto mark in civil branch compared to IS or CS or Mechanical branch as most of the students of our batch and even of our senior batch go unplaced, even the FCD (first class with distinction) guys were unplaced and the students who got placed are mainly in IT field, hardly some 5 to 6 members got placed related to our branch, so roughly only 20% got placed. Avg package was 2 Lac per annum. Guys are getting from 1.5 Lac to 2.8 Lac per annum. Sobha construction and 2 more local con...

Very disappointed due to Placement and management culture.

Placements: They charge 5k for placement training even for civil engineering but None got placed. Placement for civil, mechanical, biotechnology is not good at all. Hardly one company came for civil for 2014 batch. Before the year ends we need to pay next year fees.

Good college. Personally I think if you not get any college then come to this college.

Placements: For civil engineering uslt is less than 25%. Many companies come but they give less salary that's people don't go for Jobs in civil engineering. For other branches many companies come but for mechanical, civil, poor companies are there. If you get placement then you have to pay 25% of first salary to college. They take so much money for placement class for companies and exam fee for placement.

Only good for CS/IT. It is not worth for other departments.

Placements: There are no placements in this college. Since I was in mechanical department, there are nearly no companies to visit. The companies only come here for IT jobs. There are no placements either for mechanical or civil. People with no expectations should join this college. Also, the amount of fee they ask you is not worth.

Spent more money annually than the salary I was offered.

Placements: Nearly 12 out of 130 students were placed in 2013-2017 batch. The number has decreased compared to 2012-2016 batch. Placement also includes sales, marketing and terms. The average package was 1.25 LPA. No students got the internship through the college. We had to get the internship on our own which didn't include any stipend. There exists a placement cell which is very inefficient. After paying Rs. 7,000 for placement training, we had the chance to attend the placements. We could only get one of...

It is a good college to study.

Placements: It is very difficult to get into good companies. Placements have dropped since 2017 due to IT freeze, and you should have a very good technical knowledge to get into the top companies. Companies like IBM and Amazon visit the campus but recruits only a few students. So, you have to work hard.

New Horizon Engineering College (placements and infrastructure).

Placements: Compared to the other colleges, the placements are quite good. The students' percent should be 60% with fine communication skills as these will be a plus. The top-most service and product MNC companies will be visiting. Recently, 32 students got placed in Tech Mahindra company.

A good college to look at but I will not recommend it.

Placements: The placement in civil, mechanical and electrical streams is very poor, hence the placement in core industry is almost negligible for these branches. For other streams, there are good placements here, with the average salary being 3-4 lakhs/annum. TCS, IBM and many more companies do visit the college, and paid placement classes are held after the 6th-semester examinations, which are compulsory for every student.

Good college with a considerable amount of work space regarding laboratories. Always loved to work with professors and lab assistants. My research work is what the proof of it. Placements with core companies are little pet down, else everything works like a miracle from this campus.

I am a recent graduate of this college and I had the best four years of my life. I am also placed in a big MNC and will start working shortly. This is my personal view of NHCE. We had the best lecturers among any engineering college in Bangalore. If you need a good education, you need to pay some money, that is my opinion. Let me tell me you the great things of this college. I am ready for debate from other reviewers. 1) World Class Infrastructure (please visit the college to see it for yourself...

Best college but money minded.

Placements: This college has placed 50% of its students well. The average package ranges from Rs 3 Lakhs to Rs 12 Lakhs. Capgemini Eurofins, TCS, Brilio, Accenture, Suryatech, etc. are the top recruiting companies. Ninja is offering Rs 3 Lakhs to 8 Lakhs. The placement process involves training aptitude, technical rounds, and proving assistance.

The college is good for education, but it charges very high fees to provide extra facilities.

Placements: Additional placement classes are conducted to make students capable of attending on-campus as well as off-campus recruitment drives. The college charges extra amount for those classes, along with mandatary attendance conditions, which seems unfair. If we don't maintain those attendance criteria, then they won't allow us to attend for campus recruitment drives irrespective of what reasons we have.
