In college, practical knowledge should be given more. Remaining are good.
Placements: Almost 10%-15% of students got placed in college. The salary offered can be in the range of Rs. 18,000-30,000 per month. Top recruiting companies were MS, Gauri Murthy, etc. Top roles are from counselling and planning diets for clients and patients. All of them got an internship.
Infrastructure: Facilities are good, ranging from labs to the library. Wi-Fi doesn't work most of the time. Quality of the hostel was good. There is no canteen available. Roadside food is available, which is good. Sports and games surely there but didn't manage the time with it clashes with the lecture.
Faculty: Teachers are good, helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. Teaching quality is good. The course curriculum is relevant but can be updated as well as more of practical practice should be encouraged. Therefore it doesn't make industry-ready.
Other: I have chosen this course because I was always interested in it.

Good exposure, average infrastructure and faculty members.
Placements: The college has tie-ups with various food industries. They generally help with internships. There are no campus interviews for jobs after the course ends, but the internship opportunities are good. Each student gets an internship, and the convenience and interests of students are kept in mind.
Infrastructure: They are charging for Wi-Fi, but we really don't have access to it. It can only be used for lectures by teachers. There are projectors or computers in every classroom and teachers usually teach using presentations only. There is no canteen in college, and the campus is very small. Actually, there isn't any campus; it's just one building. There are lift facilities, and the library has almost every book you need for your course. There is a back end area on every floor for students to relax and all. There is also a common room for girls. Classrooms are spacious and have comfortable benches.
Faculty: Faculty members seem to be helpful except one. Not all teachers are PhD holders. Teachers use presentations for teaching, and there is one teacher allotted to each paper. There are seminars conducted every now and then, so industrial exposure is pretty good. The course, food processing and preservation, is great. But the timings are a bit odd. Classes are conducted from 1.45 in the afternoon till 6.00 in the evening. The practical sessions are really fun, and you are allowed to implement your weird imaginations.
Other: There are way too many fests going on every other week. The college used to be for girls only and has now started to have boys in masters course. As there are few courses in college, the crowd is small. So everyone almost knows everyone. The crowd is of high quality. There also scholarships from the university and the college makes students aware of them.
