NIT Agartala Reviews on Placements, Faculty & Facilities ,

Placements: Top recruiting companies include Maruti Suzuki, Reliance, L&T, Ashok Leyland, and a few others. Almost 80% of the students get placed. Rest are either unable to crack interviews or prepare for government exams like GATE and UPSC. The highest and the lowest salary package offered was around 9 LPA and 4 LPA respectively. Anyone wishing to do an internship gets an internship easily. But paid internships are difficult to get.

Placements: The placements are decent. The highest package offered is 22 LPA by Oracle. The average package offered is 7 LPA, and the lowest package is 5 LPA. Recruiting companies include Infosys, Wipro, Deloitte etc. Around 73% of students got internships in MNCs like Google, Amazon, Samsung Research etc.

Placements: Around 65-70% of enrolled students from our branch got placed. The highest salary package offered is 15 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 3.6 LPA. The average salary package offered ranges from 6.5-7 LPA. Top recruiting companies like TCS, Wipro, Vedanta, L&T, Paytm, Infosys, Deloitte, Oracle, etc., visit our college to hire students from our branch. About 70-75% of students got an internship in companies like BHEL, some PSUs, etc.

Placements: Chemical engineering course is a new course. There are lots of opportunities for this branch. Internships are provided in Indian Oil Corporation Ltd, Oil and Natural Gas Corporation, Vedanta, Cairn Gas and IIT Guwahati. Students can also directly get admission to PhD in some IITs. Paid summer internships provided in the 3rd year are a good opportunity that gives a good experience. Vedanta offers a salary package of around 6 LPA to 7 LPA for freshers.

Placements: I am from the BSMS mathematics course. Most of the students in our course opt to continue further studies. The college gives equal opportunities to every student to sit for placements, even if you are from a general background. It is a win situation, but you have to sit placements with CSE students.

Placements: 50% of students got placed in my course. But in the previous year, almost 90% of students got placed. This year due to covid, only core companies came here. So, the placement percentage of mechanical students is quite low.

Placements: About 40% of the civil engineering students got placed in the top recruiting companies. In the year 2020, the highest salary package offered in our course was 10 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 3 LPA. The average salary package offered was 6 LPA. Placements: Placements are average in the CSE branch. For other branches, like mechanical, electrical and civil, placements are not that good. The highest salary package offered is 36 LPA, and the average salary package offered is 5 LPA. Our college alumni are very good. They provide lots of internships like a new startup.

Placements: You can get decent placements in IT companies. Google, Microsoft, and almost all service-based IT companies visit our campus. Some core companies also visit, but the salary packages offered are not as good as IT companies. Altogether you can say that you get a fair chance for placements.

Placements: From the 7th semester, students would be eligible for campus placements. The highest salary package offered is 13 LPA, the lowest salary package offered is 4 LPA, and the average salary package offered is 6 LPA. LNT, Tata Consultancy Services, Infosys, Wipro, Capgemini, etc., are companies that offer jobs for civil engineering students both in core and IT sectors. More than 50% of the students would get placements. We got an internship opportunity in ONGC.

Placements: I am a student in the electrical engineering branch and will be graduated in 2023. Approximately 85% of the students got placed this year, and this rate will surely be better day by day. All the students have opportunities to get internships in their interested field. The recruiting and leading company which visits here for placements is L&T Construction.

Placements: Due to the low rank in JEE, I get biotechnology in NITA. According to seniors, placement in bio engineering is not hot due to the lack of biomedical companies in India. That's why there is no more demand but you can do specialization or Ph.D. in this branch than you may get good opportunity. As seniors told that many of the students of bio engineering get placed in IT company by coding and they also get good salary package. appx. 7 lakhs per annum.

Placements: In CSE department almost 100% students are placed in most of the years having at least one internship is also mandatory. The average package is around 4-5 Lacs getting a the highest packages of more than 15 Lacs. Companies like Cape Gemini, Optum, Nokia etc. Visits our college every year.

Placements: About 95% students are placed in our department. The highest package was 16LPA the lowest would be 5.5 LPA. Coming to the average package it is around 7 LPA. Some of the students also got double placements. The placement procedure will be issued by the department. The persons should meet eligibility criteria to sit for the placement. Placements: The placement of NIT Agartala, has improved over the years since the course's inception in 2012. For 2012-16 batch also the placement was above par.
