Absolutely dissatisfied with placements in 2024, but it has decent infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: From this core department, we can't expect more placements, but we got many admissions to IITs through the GATE examination. If you aren't interested in core placements or further studies, you can opt for IT jobs if you have the required skills for the placements.
Infrastructure: Decent infrastructure and facilities when compared with other colleges. As it was a newly established institute, we have decent infrastructure, with new hostel blocks when compared with other institutes. The quality of food available in the mess is not so good, but it was okay.
Faculty: Teaching staff are qualified and helpful. Teaching quality is decent. A new curriculum was introduced this year, which was quite helpful for upcoming batches. It makes students industry-ready from their first year itself. Difficulty of semester exams lies in between moderate and difficult. Pass percentage is 35%.
Other: We have 2 fests every year. One is a cultural fest called VULCANZY, and the other is a technical fest called TECHRIYA.

The review of NIT Andhra Pradesh.
Placements: About 70% of students from our branch are getting placed every year and every year competition is increasing and the companies coming are Mahindra, Tata, Royal Enfield and other top companies.
Infrastructure: The hostels are very neat and they maintain the hostels very properly and they provide Wi-Fi in the hostel and the classes are very small and they provide many sports facilities like inter NIT sports and the canteen called Dokka Settama will be there in the college.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful during the exam time and they tell us how to prepare for the exam and most of the faculty are highly qualified in most prestigious colleges and the exam papers are given by the faculty who are coming to our class only.
Other: It is good not to prefer this college.

My college life at NIT Andhra Pradesh.
Placements: Around 30 percent of the students were placed; the highest package is 26.5 LPA, the lowest package is 4 LPA, and the average package is 7 LPA. The top recruiting company for my course was Zscalar, which offered 26.5 LPA. Most of the students in my batch were placed at PepsiCo, and the top role offered is software engineer.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure was average and the facilities were good. The room will be cleaned every day by sweepers. The hostel food was good and the quality of the food was average. The medical qualities were also good. The games were good and we have a huge football field.
Faculty: The teachers were helpful, they were qualified and they had the knowledge to teach me. The curriculum was too good; it covered every subject for the GATE exam. The difficult part of the semester exams was too hard; the pass percentage was around 80 percent.

New college and good infrastructure.
Placements: The percentage of students placed is around 60% this year due to the recession, but last year it was around 85%. The highest, lowest, and average packages are 44.5 LPA, 4.5 LPA, and 7.5 LPA, respectively. The top recruiting companies are Career, L&T, Tata Elxsi, Accenture, TCS, ZScaler, Unacademy, and many more. The college doesn't provide on-campus internship opportunities. The roles offered are in Teaching, Management, and EdTech domains.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure available to us are excellent. Since the college is newly constructed, the construction is up-to-date and gives a good vibe. Classrooms and the library are up to the mark, with all the facilities like smart boards in classrooms, AC in the library, etc. Wi-Fi is also decent. The quality of the facilities at the hostel is above average, but the food available in the mess is below average. There is a medical center and a gymnasium. Outdoor and indoor sports complexes are also available.
Faculty: The teachers were helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality was good for most of the teachers. The course curriculum for some of the courses is industry-relevant. The semester exams are not that difficult and can be cracked with a week of preparation. The pass percentage is 33%.
Other: I code ECE since it's an evergreen course with applications in both software and hardware. Vulcanzy is the annual fest. Connectivity to the college is not that great.

Absolutely disappointed with the placements in 2024, and no proper director is the greatest flaw.
Placements: There are no proper placements; only around 40% are placed, and it's necessary to take action by the central government, as there is no proper direction to bring in companies. On average, those 30% of students who got 6 lakh per annum to 8 LPA should opt for other government exams rather than depending on campus placements.
Infrastructure: Hostels are good, and maintenance is very good. Mess food will be better; you have to adjust for it. Canteen food tastes good, but the quantity for the amount is very less. Medical facilities are good enough, and sports and games are conducted actively. However, most games cannot be seen by most of them as they are conducted during lecture times.
Faculty: The curriculum of exams will be sent two days before exams with proper details. The exams will be tough enough that you have to know all the applications on the topic. For the difficulty, we can rate it 8/10. Teachers clarify doubts properly without annoying, respond, and are available in their cabins. There will be 80% pass percentage.
Other: I am in the 2022-2026 batch. The Vulcanize fest and the flash mob are the best ones that I have seen in college. Other events like festivals are conducted, but mostly they are unknown.

NIT Andhra Pradesh college review from my perspective.
Placements: The highest package is 26.5 LPA. The lowest package is 5 LPA. Well-known companies visited include Nvidia, Accenture, Zscalar, Accelerize 360, Pepsi Co., Career Technologies, Tata Elxsi, L&T, Tiger Analytics, MAQ Software, and United Online Software. As of Feb 2024, 200 students got placed out of 574 students (including students who didn't register for placements).
Infrastructure: The facilities were good and the infrastructure was average for my CSE branch. The labs were good, the classrooms were average, and the library was average. The facilities at the hostel were good, and the quality of the food at the canteen was good.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful, they are qualified and they have the knowledge to teach us. The curriculum is good; it covers every topic for the GATE exam. The students were ready for the industry. The difficulty of the semester exams was too high, and the pass percentage was around 80 percent.

Yes, you can get into Graphic Era Hill University on the basis of your score in the JEE Mains exam.

There are different B.Tech programs at GEHU: the admission procedure is mainly through the JEE Mains score. Those who qualify in TJEEM can also apply for B.Tech courses at the university.
