JEE Main 2025 Session 1 registration has closed for NIT Patna admission to BTech, BArch, and BPlan courses. The JEE Main 2025 Session 1 exam is scheduled to be held from Jan 22 to Jan 31, 2025.
A few more updates are given below:
- The IIT JAM 2025 online registration process for admission to the MSc course has closed now. The IIT JAM 2025 exam is scheduled to be held on Feb 2, 2025.
- The GATE 2025 registration process with late fee is closed now for admission to the MTech course. The GATE 2025 exam will be conducted on Feb 1, 2, 15, and 16, 2025.
- The CAT 2024 answer key has been released for admission to the MBA/PGDM courses. Candidates can download the answer key by using their login credentials on the official website. The CAT 2024 result is expected to be released by Dec 20, 2024.
- The NIMCET 2025 application form for admission to the MCA course will be released tentatively in Mar 2025. The NIMCET 2025 exam dates will be announced soon.

It is the best college for engineering in India.
Placements: NIT Patna placements 2024 have concluded. However, there have been no official reports released for the NIT Patna Placements 2024. Partial data for the NIT Patna recruiters and packages 2024 is given in the articles below. As per the NIT Patna placements trends in 2023, there were more than 120 recruiters who participated in the placement drive & placed 609 students. The highest salary package offered at NIT Patna was 52 LPA and the average salary package offered was 14 LPA. Some of the participating top recruiters included ONGC, Bharat Electronics, Google, etc.
Infrastructure: The campus has a residential complex with three boys' hostels, two girls' hostels, a central mess, uninterrupted water supply, electricity supply, 24X7 Wi-Fi connectivity, and other essentials. The sports center is open for students and offers equipment for indoor games like table tennis and outdoor games like football, cricket, tennis, basketball, volleyball, badminton, and an athletic track to maintain both physical and mental activity. The NIT Patna provides students with well-maintained classrooms as well as course-based labs to provide proper theoretical and practical knowledge. Students are also given access to medical facilities with two permanent doctors who are always accessible to assist patients or anyone at the NIT Patna who requires medical assistance. Other amenities include an ATM facility at Allahabad Bank.
Faculty: Our faculty members are very good and well-qualified. Most of them rank among the top 2% of scientists worldwide. Akshay, Deepak, and Prabhat sirs are the best professors for me. All faculty members are very helpful. Students can go to them anytime. In mid-semester and end-semester exams, rarely students fail each semester.
Other: The campus is very good. Sweet shops and everything are nearby which is good for civil department students. This is the best campus for civil engineering.

Very good college with a perfect location at bank of ganga river.
Placements: According to media reports, out of 703 registered students 560 were placed. The highest package offered was INR 45 LPA. Further, the lowest package stood at INR 6 LPA. The highest count of placements was observed in the Mechanical Engineering branch.
Infrastructure: There is a library with a large collection of books, including 75,000 books and 10,000 computer-related books. There is also a residential complex with three boys' hostels and two girls' hostels, each with a central mess, 24/7 Wi-Fi, and uninterrupted water and electricity supply

According to me, it's an NIT college, so students gain good knowledge.
Placements: Around 80%-85% of students are placed in our course. The highest salary package in our college is 45 LPA, the average salary package is 14 LPA, and the lowest salary package is 6 LPA. Aditya Birla, Tata, PhonePe, and more companies are recruiting for our course. Every student gets an internship in the 2nd or 3rd year after hard work. There is a placement coordinator.
Infrastructure: Facilities available in our hostel include Wi-Fi, drinking water, light, fans, and beds. Fully air-conditioned classrooms are available in our college. A central library is also available on our campus, and books can be issued by students. The quality of food in the mess is average. There are three canteens available on our campus, and the fast food is good. We have a small ground to play different sports like volleyball, football, and cricket. However, only one sport (either cricket or football) can be played at a time. We also have a badminton court, table tennis, and music facilities.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful in studies and projects. They are qualified and very knowledgeable. We are comfortable studying with them. According to me, the course curriculum is relevant. It prepares us to manage future tasks. The mid-semester exam is good because teachers ask questions based on what they taught in class. The end-semester exam has not been conducted yet. The pass percentage is 33% of the total marks.
Other: I chose this course because it lies within my rank. The best thing about my course is that it is an evergreen branch. I wish the course could be improved in the first year. There are a few events and fests conducted, like Natvansh and Bollywood. Our campus is very small, covering 36 acres. Connectivity is good because the station is 4 km away, and the airport is 10 km away. It is a high-density city. Scholarships are available for students.

Best college for engineering .
Placements: As per our college, our department started that last year placement of electrical engineering branch was 94%. The highest package was 55 LPA.
The lowest package was 5 LPA.
The average package was 12 LPA.
There were a lot of technical companies like Amazon, Google, Accenture, TCS, etc. Along with that, there were core companies as well, like HCL, etc.
Very few students got internships, probably around 20%. There were a lot of big companies like Amazon, Deloitte, Google, etc.
Top roles offered were SDE, GET, Analyst, etc.
Infrastructure: The entire college is extremely old, although a new campus is under construction in Bihta. Residential facilities are provided to students in three boys hostels and two girls hostels. Presently, all the girls and many of the boys are accommodated in these hostels. The hostels are guarded round the clock by private security staff. Patrolling is also done by state security personnel at night. There are also separate wardens for every hostel in order to maintain discipline. Each hostel provides a central mess facility for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Uninterrupted water and electricity supply are also provided. Hostels have separate Wi-Fi connections for providing internet facilities to students 24x7. Newspapers and magazines are put up in the common rooms. Cleanliness and hygiene are taken care of and maintained in every aspect. Although Wi-Fi is extremely slow, mess food is just acceptable, not good. There is no night canteen.
Faculty: Some faculty are good, while some are just unbearable. Although all of them are extremely qualified and knowledgeable. The course curriculum is highly relevant, with no unnecessary things and fewer loads and they cover each and every aspect required in industry.
Semester exams are moderate. You will have to study well to ace it.

Placements: Placements at NIT-Patna are quite decent. As per our professors, almost every student who sits for placements gets placed. Yes, but obviously only a few of them get the high package. But yes, one thing I liked about placements at NIT-Patna is that it doesn't allow companies for procurement who offer less than 6 LPA.
Infrastructure: The hostel at NIT-Patna is quite affordable, as it goes like 6,000-7,000 a month, including the mess charges. The mess menu is quite good, which serves a variety of food items on every individual day. Also, the quality of food is good too; I mean, it's edible. Rooms in the hostel are also decent. The only problem in the hostel and mess is of cleanliness.
Faculty: Our course curriculum has been modified significantly since the option of branch sliding was removed from our college; now studies are more branch-specific so that a student gets skilled in his/her core subject from the very first year. Undoubtedly, teachers are qualified and knowledgeable but your teaching quality is decent. But yeah, they are always ready to help you out, which is the best quality of teachers here at NIT-Patna.
Other: The main factor that made me choose this college was it's tag of NIT. Definitely, if you have decided to be an engineer, you would prefer to do it from any NIT or IIT. Yes, certainly I have to clear the JEE Main examination with a good percentile to be admitted to this college. Despite having a small campus, our campus life is quite decent. For freshmen, an event is organized within a gap of one or two weeks by different clubs of NIT-Patna. There too happen some festivals organised by different clubs. But there is a big techno-cultural annual fest too, namely Corona and Avalanche. The library is decent too, with almost all the books that are required in an engineering course. Sports facilities are decent too; we do have a badminton court, table tennis courts, basketball court, gym and a small but decent playground for all other outdoor sports.

Placements: As per authorities, Electrical Engineering placements percentage was 94%.
The highest and average package offered during NIT Patna placements 2023 stood at INR 52 LPA and INR 13.30 LPA, respectively.
A total of 112 companies participated and 639 offers were made during NIT Patna placements 2023. The lowest package offered during NIT Patna placements 2023 was INR 6 LPA.
The prominent recruiters of NIT Patna placements 2022 were Meta, Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Wipro, Deloitte, etc.
Top recruiting companies are NTPC, BHEL, L&T, Bajaj, Samsung, and Havells.
Data for internship percentage is not shared by college but as per our seniors, very few students got internships, about 30-40%.
Roles offered were IT Digital / Analytics, SDE Intern, Graduate Engineer Trainee, Business Analyst / Digital Analyst, etc.
Infrastructure: WiFi is extremely slow.
Hostels are overcrowded.
Labs are good.
Classes are pathetic with no facilities and in many classes most of the fans don't work.
The library is very small but good.
Fixed mess menu with no scope of change and there is no mess council or student council.
Food is good in the mess.
The canteen is also good but there is no night canteen.
There is a doctor available 24/7 for your treatment free of charge.
There is only one ground where we play cricket, football, badminton, volleyball, and court is also there.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable, but you won't understand anything. YouTube will be your only companion for 4 years.
The curriculum is absolutely relevant and is industry-oriented.
Semester exams are doable if you work hard studying the topics; otherwise, it might be tough.
Other: I didn't choose this course; rather, this college and course chose me.
The crowd is just pathetic. Every branch is heavily crowded and very few good and dedicated students are around.
