I am dissatisfied with the faculty as most of them show partiality for home state students.

Placements: Our college provides a great platform for good job opportunities. Around 95% of students from our branch got placed. The highest salary package offered was 22 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was around 6 LPA. The job opportunities are very less for core jobs compared to software jobs. Around 10% of students got internships. The placement cell provides good information about all the companies, which visit the campus for placements.

Satisfied because of the faculty.

Placements: Placements are good but for students in core branches get very few core jobs. Those who have good coding and programming skills get it jobs often. Around 50% in our batch got placed and average salary is 6-LPA the highest package is 9 LPA. Placement cell is functioned in well organised manner.

Excellent campus life, good placements in 2019, Really good infrastructure, facilities.

Placements: The placements were quite good for and our senior batch. The percentage was something around 75 percent for our branch. On a whole the placement percent was around 70 %. The highest package was around 45 LPA by Adobe, least was around 4.5 Lacs. The average salary was around 6 Lacs. Most of the companies were software based companies (70 percent). Core companies were around 15% and remaining were teaching profile and management profile. The internship offers are quite limited around 30 offers but...

Good college, completely satisfied with the college but some old fashioned rules needs changes.

Placements: When it comes to the placements we had a change in the person in charge of the training and placement with our batch. Various companies have visited our campus most of them are software profiles though. I think we had fewer companies for the core compared to the previous year. The highest package was around 32 LPA and the least was around 3 LPA and the average was around 8-9 LPA. However, the placement cell is useful.

I am not fully satisfied with campus life and education here.

Placements: This year, placements in our college were good as compared to the previous year. A good number of companies and start-ups visited our campus for placements. Almost 35% of students got placed with decent salary packages. But, some non recognised companies were also allowed on our campus for placements.

NITC is one of the best options for engineering and good placements.

Placements: Placements in our college were good, but the placement rate varies with branches. If you are from CSE and have a good academic record, then you will get a good placement offer. The average salary package offered for branches like CSE and ECE is around 8-10 LPA. The highest salary package offered for these branches is always above 12-13 LPA. If you are from production engineering, then the case is different. Very few students get placed as very few core companies visited the campus for placements...

The college has good placements and infrastructure. Faculty and curriculum need improvement.

Placements: Placements in our college were decent for our senior batch, and they have been improved for our batch. Some of the public sector companies like IOCL and DRDO have also visited our college for placements. All the major automobile companies like Tata Motors, Hero, Maruti Suzuki, Hyundai etc., recruited the students from our college. Some of the major consulting companies that visited our campus were Delliote, ZS Associates, and Mu Sigma. Many tech companies like Amazon, SAP, Alcatel Lucent, and Or...

Basically the college gives you a great chance to built to your career and good college life.

Placements: Though the MHRD rank of NIT Calicut is decreasing, the placement percentage as well as the average and top salaries are increasing for the students. The placement record is improving each and every year. The placements are just as good as other top NITs like Trichy, Surathkal etc. , especially for the computer Science and electronics branch students. The AVG salary per branch varies from 4.5 to 13 LPA as per branch. The highest salary offered this year till now (as the placement are still going)...

Absolutely dissatisfied about faculty, but best campus in Kerala.

Placements: The college does not boast 100% placements. Computer Science is having very good placement results here. EEE, ECE, ME have average placements. Salary range from 20lpa to 6lpa, average salary would be around 8 LPA. The placements of other branches are poor.

My college is one of the best in the world, but it really need to improve it's quality and teaching.

Placements: There are placements, but most are IT companies. Core companies doesn't come here that much. So I recommend you to go for IT companies. There aren't many core companies coming to this college, so go for IT companies if you are here. The pay scale for core companies are also very low.

Everything in the college is good except placements in the private sector. The fee structure is low.

Placements: The placements were very bad for my batch and my senior batch of civil engineering. During our placement season, hardly 20% of the students got placed. Out of 150 students in the civil batch, only 30 to 35 students got placed. Initially, 10 more students got placed and the count was 45 in total, but by the end of the year, the company was shut down, and those 10 students remained helpless. The placements for the students of core branches are mainly from L&T. Around, 10 students got placed in L&T...

Placements: The placements were good for our senior batches. More than 90% of the students from the Computer Science and Engineering department were placed. Companies like Amazon, Goldman Sachs, Tally Solutions, Oracle etc. Visited the campus. Microsoft came for internship placements. Some of the positions offered to the students were Software Developer, Technology Analyst, Application Engineer and so on. Really good placements, dissatisfying infrastructure, and improving faculty.

Placements: Last year, about 490 students got placed out of 686 students who appeared for placements. In my branch, 80 out of 112 students got placed with a maximum package 14.5 lacs per annum and the minimum package 3.4 lacs per annum, and the average package offered is 6.8 lacs per annum. About 71% of the students from mechanical branch got placed.

NITC is a different world, and I am very proud to be the part of it.

Placements: Placements are not an issue. I have seen the record for last four years, almost 80 to 90 percent students got placed every year through campus placements. This year 78% percent students got placed with the highest package of 14 LPA offered by Target company, Bangalore. The lowest package is 4.5 LPA, and the average package is around 7 LPA. Approximately eight core companies visit the campus including Larsen & Turbo (L&T), Oracle, HPCL, TCS. As per the last year's record, 66 companies have visit...

Thia is the best college which offers best academics and good placements.

Placements: As per previous year reports, our college is one of the topmost colleges. More number of students get placed every year. In CSE and ECE, nearly 95-98% people are being placed yearly. When the matter comes to other branches, nearly 60% of the people are getting placements. As per my knowledge, the core placements are very less when compared to software jobs offered by our college.

Placements: Our batch students are not yet placed, but our super senior batch had good placement percentage of about 98%. Out of 120 students, 112 members got placed in several reputed companies. In addition to placements, our college also provides internship programme, for which 35 members got selected in our senior batch.

Placements: Placements in National Institute of Technology Calicut is not so good for chemical engineering. On an average only 60% students are placed. It includes core as well as non core companies. Core companies like Reliance, BPCL, Murugappa visit our college.

A review on National Institute Of Technology, Calicut.

Placements: As in any other college, NITC placements vary according to the branch. From the start of the 4th year, we can see a huge number of companies coming to recruit people from our college. They are maximum for CSE followed by ECE and then EEE, mechanical and others. The packages offered are quite decent.

Lives up to its name, almost.

Placements: We have a dedicated training and placement cell for both on campus and off campus placements. There is also an alumni placement win now that works for internships and placements with alumni contribution. The placements are well above average with computer Science seeing 100% registered students placed consistently for 4 years. Other branches also see >60% placement (to talk about the lower limit).
