NIT Delhi offers two-year M.Tech programmes with the following specializations: Analytics in Computer Science and Engineering, Power Electronics and Drives in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, VLSI in Electronics and Communication Engineering, and CAD/CAM in Mechanical Engineering. Students are admitted based on their GATE scores and through the CCMT counseling process. Each programme offers 15 regular seats and 2 seats for DASA students.

For NIT Delhi M.Tech admissions, GATE scores are a must. For candidates who wish to apply for the course through the centralised d CCMT (Centralized Counseling for M.Tech./M.Arch./M.Plan.) process., NIT Delhi follows the rules and regulations of the CCMT admission process that requires a valid score in the GATE entrance examination for admission in regular M.Tech PG programme.

No, admission to NIT Delhi for BTech is subject to a valid score in JEE Main followed by JoSAA Counselling. For seats that remain vacant after JoSAA counselling, admission is offered via CSAB Counselling. Additionally, to be eligible for BTech, students must have completed their Class 12 with 75% aggregate (for the General category).
