It is a good college. Travel facilities are bad, and trees are also less.

Placements: In our course, the highest salary package offered is 14-15 LPA, the average salary package offered is 6-7 LPA and the lowest salary package offered is 4-5 LPA. In our course, 80% of the students got placed, and 70-75% of the students got an internship.

Good infrastructure and a beautiful campus beside sea shores.

Placements: Around 75-80 percent of students get placed in recognised companies having an average package of 6-7 LPA. The highest package was around 9-10 LPA (for CSE it was 15LPA) and going the lowest it's around 4.9 LPA. Larsen & Toubro, ABB, Mahindra tech are top recruiting companies. NOTE: The average package is increasing every year, this year it can be around 7-8 LPA.

Our college has good infrastructure, faculty members but placements need to be improved.

Placements: Placements in our college are not high. The average salary package offered was 4 LPA. The highest salary package offered ranges from 9 LPA - 15 LPA, but every year we see a growth in average placed number. The placement percentage is around 65-70%. Our college is calling companies are offering 20 LPA, but none of the students got qualified, and companies are also showing less interest in qualified ones.

I like this college because of the good placements in the year 2019.

Placements: Almost 80% of the students were placed in the previous year. The highest salary package offered is 30 LPA, the lowest salary package offered is 3 LPA and the average salary package offered is 5 LPA. Companies like Google, Wipro and Infosys are the top recruiters of our college. Students are offered with the role of a core team leader in Google. In our course, the highest salary package offered is 22 LPA, the lowest salary package offered is 4 LPA and the average salary package offered is 6 LPA. ...

Good placements and fine place to pursue degree. You need to be self-motivated.

Placements: The placement record was better than our previous batches, i.e. around 80% of the eligible candidates were placed. Companies like Emphasis, Capgemini, L&T, Greatest, Inatech, and few more companies came for placements. The lowest salary offered was 3.75 LPA. The highest salary offered was 8 LPA. The average salary offered was 4.25 LPA. We must be self-motivated to get placed. However, the faculty will assist us.

NIT Puducherry review for the batch of 2016-2017.

Placements: About 40% in my batch and 60% in my senior batch were placed on the campus placements. The highest package offered was 15 LPA. The average was 5 LPA, and the lowest was 2.4 LPA. The companies such as L&T, Samsung, Zoho, Intellect, Ramco systems, Mu Sigma, Reliance, and Infosys visited the campus. Business analyst, IT developer roles and junior engineer roles are offered to the students. Nobody got an internship at the college. We have a placement cell, and it is not very effective. ...

NIT PY, might not be the college for the fun lovers, but best for an average student.

Placements: The placements are pretty decent for EEE, ECE and CSE. They get placed in L&T and other good companies every year, but for mechanical engineering, it's still a question. Civil is a very new department, so placement for them is also a question.

Surge in the placements of 2016-2017.

Placements: Placements are quite good this year as compared to the last year. Last year percentage of students placed was around 55% and this time it has crossed 65% in the odd semester itself. The highest salary offered is 7 LPA and the lowest is 3.75 LPA. Zoho, Itron, IBM, Inatech, Intellect, L and T, Trimble, Capgemini, Tres Vista, Directi, etc. visited our campus. Software Engineer, Program Trainee, System Engineer, Associate Software Engineer are the roles given by various companies which visited our c...

I am moderately satisfied with faculty and average placements of the year 2017.

Placements: About 60% of the students from our course got placed this year. Many reputed companies visit our college for recruitments. Students with 7.5 CGPA can easily expect placement in a good company. Comparatively, our college has few placements than other renowned NITs. The average salary package offered was 5 LPA.
