NIT Raipur Reviews on Placements, Faculty & Facilities ,

Placements: Companies visit for campus recruitment, but only from the IT, consultancy, and analytics sectors. This year, we are trying to invite companies from the healthcare industry and food biotech industries to visit us, but it will take some time. The core biotech companies offer satisfying packages, and hence we are not very keen on inviting them.

Placements: In our branch, our strength is 77. The highest package is 55 LPA, the lowest is 3 LPA, and the average is 9.8 LPA. Top companies recruiting are Indian Oil, Reliance Petroleum, Nykaa, in the core field. The majority of our seniors got internships during their 3rd year, and a few 2nd-year students also got internships depending on their skills.

Placements: According to last year's statistics, around 80 percent of students were placed in our course. The highest package in our department was 55 lacs per annum, the lowest package in our college was 8 lacs, and the average was 13 lacs per annum. Top recruiting companies were Amazon, Google, Microsoft, and Infosys.

Placements: According to the data of last year, about 71 percent of students got the placement from the campus, while others tried for off-campus placement or government jobs. In the top recruiting companies are Vedanta, TCS, HCL, Adobe, etc. The top roles are manager, trainer, assistant manager, etc.

Placements: About 70 % of students got placed at NIT Raipur the previous year. The highest package was 55 Lakh on campus and 1.5 crore off campus. The average package delivered to the students was 10 Lakh and the median was 9 Lakh. Many big companies like Google, Wipro, Infosys, and Tata steal arrive here.

Placements: At my time, there was about 80–85% placement for the Electrical batch. The highest package for the electrical branch was 52 LPA. The average package was around 11 LPA, and the lowest was 6 LPA. Companies like Oracle, DBOI, Deloitte, and PwC visited our campus for software roles. Also, there were a lot of companies in the core sector. PSUs such as BPCL EIL visited our campus. Internship was also good; many students got that in our 3rd year.

Placements: The placement at NIT Raipur is really above average. Specifically for my IT branch the highest package was of 65 Lacs and the average stands for 18 Lacs while the median is of14 Lacs. It is the most prestigious branch of the college even more than the CSE. The placement percentage is also good for IT at NIT RR.

Placements: Almost more than 80 percent of Information Technology branch students are placed every year at NIT Raipur, and many top companies like Adobe, Barclays, and around 120 companies on average visit our campus for the placement drive. On-campus internships are fewer.

Placements: In NIT Raipur, mining engineering is considered as one of the branches. The campus placement of the mining engineering students is decent, around 72%, because most of the students choose the GATE exam and prepare for the government sector job. In 2023, the highest package was around 55 LPA the lowest was around 5.6 LPA and the average one was around 13.7 LPA. Placements: Placement percentage of the college last year was 75%, and it is pretty good after having more than 10 different engineering branches. Along with these, there are companies offering very good salaries around, and the average package is around 10 LPA, which is quite good, I guess.

Placements: Students are placed to different companies from NIT Raipur. In my branch recently, 86 percent of students have gotten placement (4th year), i.e., the placement rate for this year is 86 percent, in which the highest package a student has got is 55 LPA and the average package is almost 10 LPA.

Placements: 40 percent of students got placed in my course. The highest package is 44 Lacs and the lowest is 4 Lacs. Amazon is the top recruiting company in my course, and 60 percent of students secured internships. Top roles offered include positions at companies like Amazon and Google. My college is committed to providing placements for students.

Placements: In my course, B.Tech, and branch, IT, around 83-85% of students do get placed, with the average package around 16-17 LPA, the highest going to nearly 70-80 LPA, and the lowest package going for nearly 3-4 LPA. Placements: Placements are good enough for this NIT but the placement of the civil department is not as expected. My branch previous year placement is like only 25 students got placed out of 90 and the minimum package is 3.3 LPA and the maximum is up to 18 LPA for my department, which is decent but not good enough.

Placements: About 40 to 50% of students are in the mining department of our college. The highest package of the college is 65 LPA, and in the mining department, the highest package is 55 LPA in Adobe company. Internship depends upon the students. Many core branches provide internship opportunities in the college.

Placements: In the recent year 2023, 70-80% of students were placed. The highest package was from our Electronics branch itself at 56 LPA, but from non-core, at Atlassian, the average package is 6 LPA. Some of the top recruiting companies are DBOI, VISA, Cisco, Teach Mahindra, JIO, etc. Internships were also offered to a decent number of students. Roles offered are mostly Software Developer, Backend and Frontend Engineer, and some for Data Analysts also.

Placements: This year, internship and placement offers were lower compared to previous years. Twenty percent of students got internships this year. Companies like Amazon, Deloitte, Wipro, PhonePe, DeBoy, etc. came to campus this year. The highest package was 55 LPA, and the average package is 15 LPA.
