Campus is lush green and has its own charm.
Placements: The placements in the college are good compared to many IITs and NITs. You can expect a good placement in the relevant domain, but one has to work hard for that. The highest in my branch is 39 LPA, and the least is 6 LPA. 100% students got placed last year.
Infrastructure: The campus life is so beautiful. You'll have one cultural fest, namely Incident, and another technical fest, namely Engineer. For PG students, there is the PG cup, where you can play and compete in all the games and sports. The hostel facility is provided for all the students on campus. The hostel facility is better, and the food you find is okay. Not that well, but can be managed. The registration process was all done by the college website.
Faculty: The effectiveness of teaching is really great. Each of the faculty members has at least completed their Masters and has experience of being trained by NITs and IITs. The faculty's approach towards teaching is in a systematic way and never causes burden to the students. They are easily approachable when in college and even off-college timings, we can contact them via phones and have our doubts cleared and get suggestions. We usually interact with teachers on a daily basis.

Overall, it is completely fine. The college has good infrastructure and a good climate.
Placements: The best thing about my college is the placements. Last year, they offered 2,250 placements for students, and companies like HCL, Capgemini, TCS, Zoho, and Hyundai made good offers. Our students even got jobs at Google with packages of 60L! From the 6th semester, we will start having placements. About 90% of the students are getting placed with an average package of 5L. My plans after the degree are to pursue my master's abroad.
Infrastructure: Two fests are celebrated on a large scale: one is Engineer or Engi, a tech fest held mostly in September every year, and the other is Incident or Inci, a cultural fest celebrated in March. Many other cultural and sports events occur throughout the year. Numerous technical and social clubs are present, and recruitment takes place at the beginning of the academic year. The library contains almost all the books needed for both academics and non-academics.
Faculty: The faculty-to-student ratio is quite low; for every 100-150 students, there is one lecturer. However, all the faculty members are friendly and accessible at any time. I particularly like Basi Reddy, who mentors our class and is very helpful. It's rare not to like a faculty member; maybe one or two cases exist. There are three exams for every semester: two midterms and one semester exam. A 95% pass rate is almost guaranteed, and the course curriculum is very relevant to us.

I like the teachers, especially Dr. Sheena, who is one of the best teachers here.
Placements: A total of 801 students out of 1390 were placed in our batch. Out of 23 students in M.Tech (PES), 9 students secured placements. A total of 188 companies visited the campus, including Robert Bosch, Credit Suisse, SAP Labs, Citicorp, CITICORP Services, Capital One, Qualcomm, TCS, Oracle, RBEI, Wipro, L&T Construction, Saipem India, Thorogood, Arista Networks, Reliance Industries, and Fidelity Investments.
Infrastructure: The hostel rooms were well maintained, and the food provided catered to all regions, with a wide variety of options. The hygiene and quantity offered at the given rate were commendable. Students would queue up for meals, and the hostel environment was a mix of different cultures, promoting a conducive atmosphere for growth. Strict hostel timings ensured minimal disturbance at night, creating a peaceful campus environment.
Faculty: The M.Tech curriculum was well-structured over two years (4 semesters). The first year covered fundamentals such as Maths, power systems, renewable energy, energy audit, control theory, HVDC, and power electronics. Cross-functional and interdisciplinary courses were available as electives. The second year focused on a major project aligned with the student’s and guide’s area of expertise. An audit course on internships required presentations on work done during the internship. Projects incorporated both hardware and software elements, offering real-world industry insights. Progress was monitored every two months, and presentations with report submissions were made at the end of the 3rd and 4th semesters to a panel of experts.

    A:

Candidates preparing for IITs are only required to appear for the JEE Advanced entrance exam after qualifying JEE Main. Students who who secure above the 98th percentile in JEE Main 2024 Session 2 should start preparing for JEE Advanced 2025 immediately. Those who score between 95th and 98th percentile should focus on improving their JEE Main score by taking multiple mock tests and practicing previous year's question papers. By analysing their strengths and weaknesses, candidates can identify their areas of proficiency and topics where they need improvement. If they can achieve full marks in their practice sessions, they can start preparing for JEE Advanced. However, if they cannot score full marks, it is recommended that they appear for multiple mock test series for more practice.
