The course curriculum is very up to date and not too much of a burden.

Placements: The placement is 79 percent and companies like Google, Microsoft, IBM, Intel etc come to recruit last year with salaries ranging from 5 LPA to 37 LPA. The highest placement was for CSE and 100% placement was recorded for the branch. Chemical engineering has good placement but are of non-core companies.

Happy and satisfied because of placement and campus (beach), good infrastructure and hostel

Placements: Almost all of the students from circuit branches get placed or received internship offers. For IT branch placement percentage was nearly 98% and students receiving internship was also nearly 95-98%. Highest package offered in CS/IT branches was 50 lakhs by atlassiun software company and lowest was near 10-12 lakhs. Average package offered is near 17-19 lakhs. NITK - one of the best NIT to study in.

Placements: Almost 40-50% of students were placed. The highest package was of 12 LPA by a semiconductor company for electrical related profiles whereas the lowest was 3.5 by a software company. Mercedez Benz, Bosch, and Moog India were often companies for placements. Roles offered were of 'Post Graduate Trainee' and 'Engineer-I'. Almost 30-40% of students were offered internships in various good MNCs.

It has good infrastructure, faculty members, average placements. Overall, the best place to study.

Placements: Almost 6 out of 14 students were placed in manufacturing engineering. The highest salary package offered was 6 LPA and the lowest salary package offered was 4.2 LPA. Around 40% of the students got placements. The manufacturing course plan is very bad. I am not satisfied with it. There is not a single subject which can help you in industries. So, companies do not opt from manufacturing branch during placement. Internships are fine, and 5 students got an internship in our class.

I am really satisfied with such a good faculty and good placements in 2018.

Texas Instruments, Qualcomm, Samsung, Intel are some of the core sector companies recruit students from this department and offer a salary package of around 18 LPA. Almost 82% of the students are placed in the multinational companies and financial sector companies with an average salary package of 8 LPA.

Very good college with best facilities, best teachers, best environment.

Placements: 65% of our batch were placed. Many of our batch students went to higher studies/PSU. Very less number of core companies come here. There are no companies which provide paid internship here for civil. Site engineer will be the first post you get into core company.

NITK- The dream destination for engineering aspirants with excellent infrastructure and placement.

Placements: Placements in our college were pretty good. In my branch which was chemical engineering around 70% of the students got their placement. The highest placement of 36.70 Lacs per annum was offered by Uber. Other companies like Google, Oracle, HPCL, BPCL etc. Also visited the campus. The roles of operations manager, project manager were offered. The placement cell of our college is very efficient. They organize mock interviews too for students.

Since placements are good every year, it's a good college to study.

Placements: Placements in the college are pretty much good. The average placement record is really good enough for the students of all branches. Since I am a first-year student, I don't have that much knowledge about placements. I am just copying from my seniors. Top companies like Microsoft and Samsung visit our campus for recruitment.

NITK : MBA - a short review - 2018 Batch.

Placements: Placement of the previous batch was good compared to previous batches. 30 students got placed out of 44 from previous batch. The average package is 5 Lacs per annum. The only thing is students need to work hard for placements as there is a little support from the training and placement cell of the college for MBA Department.

Placements: Placements was not there for M.Tech students. This is very sad. We students work hard for GATE exam and qualify it then take admission only on the name of college but what we get in reverse. Zero placements. Placements are good for B.Tech but for m. tecg it is horrible.
