Absolutely satisfied with my 4 years here, and placed in a good company, and earned good friends.

Placements: The placements are really good in our college and are bit confidential. Many of the companies visited our campus and selected students with good package. Our senior batch has a very good package with 28 LPA as the highest and coming to my batch, 35 LPA was the highest so far. Many good companies like Google, Microsoft, Oracle, Visa, Qualcomm, HPCL, IOCL, BPCL, Volvo, Bajaj, Uber, INTUIT, and many more multinational companies have visited our college. There are different roles depending on the co...

One of the best college in academics and to develop the skills in the choice of your interest.

Placements: The students are allowed to sit in the placements if there is CGPA is above 6. For the circuit branches, if things are broadly classified, there would be core and IT. Most of the times the people stood in the top 25 get placed in the core and the remaining aim for the IT stream, which requires the minimum knowledge in C, and there would never be short of companies. For non-circuit branches, the opportunities are never less. They have the core, IT, and data analyst streams. If you study in NITK, ...

Good campus for education, as well as you will have a college life with beach aside.

Placements: The placements for CSE, ECE, IT and EEE are very good compared to civil and mechanical in case of both B.Tech and M.Tech. The salary package reaches the maximum for CSE and IT, which is 20 LPA and 18 LPA. It may be even more than that. The remaining package is not that good, but you can expect very big companies.

It is heaven in terms of both academics and other strata of life.

Placements: My college now has very excellent placement opportunities. It provides an excellent salary package in all the branches. But, specifically speaking, it rocks in matters of CSE. Microsoft tops almost every year regarding packages giving up to 37 LPA. Others are Oracle, Hyundai, Bajaj, FIITZEE, etc. Here, an awesome part is that students only play all the roles including entrepreneurship fields to some extent. That's the reason above 60% are interned every year with PPOS. The highest was 1.5 lakhs....

Placements: The placements are really good. Around 80-85% of the students got placed. The highest salary was 25 lakhs per annum for CS and IT student. The lowest was 4 lakhs per annum, and the average salary was 7-8 lakhs per annum. The roles offered was around software profile, core, and Analyst profile. 20-30% of the students got the internship. The highest stipend offered was around Rs. 60,000 for 2 months, and the lowest was Rs. 20,000 for 2 months. There's placement cell which is very efficient and man...

Overall a really good college which provides sufficient opportunities for a student to grow overall.

Placements: The placements are really good for the non-core branches. For the core branches, most of the times, you will land up with a job, but the pay scale will be significantly lower than the software companies. The roles ranging from technical to analysts are offered to both the interns and FTE.

The age of the college says it all.

Placements: Being a computer science student, I must tell you that the placement percentage is very good in my institute. Almost around 90% of my seniors have been placed into various 20+ companies. Also, from the remaining 10%, most of the students aspired for higher studies and did not sit for the interviews. The highest package would be around 38 LPA. A bit unsatisfied with the facilities.

Placements: Overall, the college placement is very good, but for civil engineering, the placement in core companies aren't that great because of limited companies. Its improving every year and there is a considerable increase in the core companies. With one more semester to come and after finishing a semester of placement, now the placement is satisfactory.

The review of an electrical student of batch 2019, NITK, Surathkal.

Placements: Since NITK, Surathkal is one of the oldest technical institutions in South India and one of the best among the NITs, the placement records are commendable. According to the 2016-17 statistics, 73 out of 81 students in the electrical department have got placed. The core companies like Intel, Qualcomm, Texas Instruments, ARM, Sandisk, Bajaj, Samsung SSIR, CDOT, etc. visit for recruitments. Most of the students usually opt for masters and get admissions in the finest colleges abroad.

Placements: The placement in NITK commences in the final year. Few of our seniors have placed this year, and the remaining companies are yet to come. Some of the companies that came for placements are Amazon, Tesco, Fidelity investments, Wipro Ltd, Oracle India, Mahindra, Delphi etc.

Placements: Placement wise, NITK is the best among all NITs. The highest package was around 40 LPA in 2017. Even the mining engineering students can attend computer engineering campus interviews (with proper eligibilities). The lowest package is around 3 LPA. NITK has 100 percent placement.

Placements: The placement is very good at NITK. Most of the students will get placed. Microsoft, Samsung, Oracle, Texas Instruments, Intuit, Morgan Stanely, Goldman Sachs etc. are the companies that visit NITK. From our batch, about 70% people got an internship. The highest stipend was 1L per month which was offered by Arcesium.

Many people with great expectations come alvas pragathi wishing for job and out 10, 5 get jobs. Alvas college is good for graduates to get placed.

Placements: Almost everyone got placed from my batch. NITK tag has opened doors for a number of opportunities. Be ready to grasp the opportunity as when you enter the industry, the tag of NITK will matter. 90% of the batch students got placed within 2 months after completion of the degree. Placements: Placement of mechanical B.Tech is good relative to other engineering colleges. Last year 90% of the students were placed.
