Being one of the prominent engineering colleges in India, this one is the most preferred choice after the IITs. Offering B.Tech in 9 streams it has a good infrastructure and faculty for all of the streams. Placements: From my branch ECE almost 98 percent students get placed every year and last year also 98 percent student get placed. Last year the highest package is 57 Lacs per annum of college but mine branch is that is of ECE is 45 Lacs per annum students get placed in core as well as non core companies both, average package is 23 Lacs of ECE branch overall college average is 20 Lacs. Placements: From my branch that is from ECE almost 97 to 98 percent of students get placed every year. Last year 98.6 percent student get placed in core as well as non core companies. Highest CTC of that year is 58 lakhs per annum and average is 21 lakhs per annum . Top recruiting companies are Texas instruments , Qualcomm, Nvidia , Wall Mart, Samsung , Airtel . Almost 75 percent student get internship every year.

Placements: Civil engineering has the worst placement in NITK this year, which is 2024. With a placement percentage of 76. But other branches like computer science and engineering have had good placements this year, and even IT and even mechanical have had very nice placements this year.

Placements: Placements are fine. Better than most NITs (except Trichy) and new IITs. If you have skills, you will get ample opportunities. Still not comparable to old IITs for core branches. Almost every company allows students from all branches. Companies like Oracle and Wells Fargo recruit from lower branches too.

Placements: Above 75 recent of students got good placements, and the highest package offered is of 87 Lacs and the lowest was of 20 thousand. The top recruiting companies were Wipro and Infosys. Above 18 and 10 per cent of students got internships in Wipro and Infosys, respectively.

Placements: In our batch, around 90% of students got placed. The highest salary package offered is 18 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 4 LPA. Mostly all companies visited our college. Almost 40% of students got the internship, during intern, Rs. 40,000 stipend provided. NITK has separate placements building.
