A nice platform to build our skills. The best college to study and enjoy.

Placements: The placements in our college are one of the best figures in the country among all NITs. Last year, the placement statistics were at par with the standards of our college. About 90% of the students were placed last year and the same was the result for the year before the last. The highest salary was 22-23 lpa and the lowest was 3.5 lpa. The average was 6 lpa. About 100-120 companies visited our campus. About internship, almost 60% of the CSE got an internship where the highest stipend was 1.5L p...

Describing the college placement statistics and other things that the college had

Placements: The placements of the campus for all the branches are good. As compared to the last year, this year, we are getting less number of companies. Hope we get more in number from now. 33 LPA was the highest package offered. Microsoft, Amazon, Samsung, Goldman Sachs, Uber, etc. were there. Software engineer was the role offered. Almost all got internships. 1 lakh per month was the highest stipend. The lowest was about 25k.

The best placements and research work in 17-18

Placements: As of now, the placements of our outgoing batch is going at a very good pace. The training and placement team is doing a fantastic job in bringing companies from all over the globe and the best part is making it open for all the branches with a suitable cut-off. Through this, students from various branches irrespective of their core are getting placed at a very good pace.

Very good course curriculum with disappointing faculty

Placements: Since most of the IT companies have arrived early, people who preferred to get into the software stream got early placements and the rate dropped later while the rate of placements for the students preferring the core stream were steady. Nearly 76% of the branch students got placed by the year end. The highest of 27 LPA and the lowest of 4.25 LPA was offered. On an average, it was around 5.5-6 LPA. My second home, NITW, made me a citizen

Placements: Nearly 20-30 from our batch got pre-placement offers from the companies in which they did internships. 80% of CSE people get placed in the initial days and the rest will mostly be placed by the end of the academic year. As this is a national institute, mostly, 80% of people get placed unless they prepare for higher studies. Government companies won't recruit from the college.

You either become a good engineer or a good person but not both.

Placements: The placements were bad for the metallurgical and materials department for the year 2016. There were no core companies that visited the campus for the recruitment process. Although most of the people got a placement, it was either in a management position or in TCS.

A perfect blend of education and fun.

Placements: Placements were excellent. 64 LPA was the highest salary offered by Facebook. The average was 6 LPA. Civil engineering had some core companies like L&T, Shapoorji, etc. In addition to that, multiple companies visit the campus for management trainee profiles. However, most of the students are interested in higher studies which NITW provides an ideal platform for - owing to the excellent peer group, elite faculty, and overall great exposure.

Placements: The placements are fine and we have got approximately 90% placed last year. The order of precedence of placements is CSE, ECE and EEE followed by mechanical, civil, chemical and biotech. We have two streams one software and another hardware so that we can choose any one of it as per our interest and we also have internship programmes parallel to final year placements in the 3rd year so that we will do it in the 3rd year. Placements: NIT Warangal tops among other NITs in placements. Almost everyone gets placed by the completion of course. In CSE, there will be 100% placements for sure. For other branch students, if you study well, you will get a job in a good company. Don't worry about placements and concentrate on your studies. You even have a chance of getting internships as well. Last year, from CSE nearly 60% of students got internships the median package for CSE branch was 15 LPA.

Around 10 people didn't get placed and they are people who slacked off for the entire 4 years, did drugs, etc. It is very easy to get an intern abroad - NUS/NTU/USA using the NITW brand name as long as you have a great GPA of 8.5+.
