Q:   I got 400/1000 in GATE CCMT 2024. Is there any chance to get a seat in NIT Warangal?
A:

NIT Warangal GATE CCMT cutoff 2024 were published for M.Tech and M.Tech Integrated courses. As the M.Tech cutoff ranged from 319 to 662, we can observe that the admission to NIT Warangal can be possible with a score of 400 in 2024. However, there are some top courses like M.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering, M.Tech.8 in Computer Science and Information Security,  and M.Tech.0 in Construction Technology and Management, where CCMT score of 400 won't be sufficient for candidates to get a seat at NIT Warangal. Moreover, check out the courses available with a given score of 400 at NIT Warangal:

Q:   Why do I need to score more than 60 percentile in GATE CCMT to get a seat at NIT Warangal?
A:

NIT Warangal had conducted admissions through GATE CCMT scores. Based on the scores, the NIT Warangal cutoff 2024 was released for the candidates. The minimum cutoff percentile to get into NIT Warangal as per the NIT Warangal GATE cutoff 2024 data was 40. Anybody who scores less than the minimum cutoff score of 40 will not be able to get admission to NIT Warangal.

So, keeping in mind the growing competition, difficulty level, and, limited seats over the years, one should aim for atleast 60 percentile for upcoming admission sessions at NIT Warangal. For admission to top courses at NIT Warangal like MTech in CSE, CS and IT, and VLSI Design, the assumed percentile would be around 65 to 75. NIT, Warangal is the best NIT in India.
Placements: NIT Warangal is one of the best NIT in India. It offers many courses in Engineering. 75% of students got placed. Highest package is of 70 LPA. The lowest package is of 20 LPA. Average package is of 30 LPA. Top Recruiting companies are Flipkart, Amazon, Google etc. 50% of students got internships in start ups.
Infrastructure: Hostels are big enough. Classrooms are chilled with AC and fans. Library is also big enough. Hostel food contains variety of food daily. Canteen is also available. Medical service is for 24/7.
Faculty: Teachers are so interactive with students. They teach in a good manner. Teachers are qualified and knowledgeable. Time table is so flexible to the students. There are some extra curricular activities for students. Here the fests are so special to the students.
Other: I chose ECE because of it has flexibility towards software and hardware. But in future, India is looking for the establishment of Semiconductor and Battery industries. So there is need of Engineers (core). There are number of clubs related to dance, sports, finance and many more.

Absolutely dissatisfied with the hostel maintenance and the mess food maintenance.
Placements: I think the placement criteria depend on the CGPA, the skills, communication skills, and confidence of the student. So, the ones with skills, good CGPA, and confidence will get the placement, and the ones who do not will not get it. It's not in our hands, but the companies that come here are not that bad.
Infrastructure: Coming to the hostel, it is a nightmare. Really. The cleaning and hygiene are not up to the mark. The food in the mess, we shouldn't really talk about this. I mean, they are providing the same food every week without any change in the menu, and moreover, they don't taste good. They taste land. We really can't continue eating this food. And moreover, we have to pay each and every time to eat non-veg. It was not informed while paying the mess fee that we would be provided only with veg food.
Faculty: The faculty, I think, should improve their teaching skills. Not everything can be understood by just scrolling through the slides of a PowerPoint presentation, reading it, and feeling like explaining everything and assuming we understand everything. They also need to pay attention to every student.
Other: Everything is not that bad, but I can't say it is really up to the mark.

Very good place for people who are really interested in the ECE course as a subject.
Placements: Coming from a circuital branch, ECE has good core placements provided. You have maintained a decent CGPA over the years. Good set of companies with a wide variety of roles come every year. Guaranteed good placements if you are decent enough. I would highly recommend, either way ECE gets a leverage over other branches for software and management roles also.
Infrastructure: There is Wi-Fi in the hostels. While the first year hostels might be a little crowded, 2nd year onwards decent enough hostels with water and Wi-Fi.
Faculty: Exams are conducted on a term basis. Mid-terms and semester exams are centralized and handled by the examinations department. Out of the 100 marks, 70 are centralized with 40 for end-semester exams and 30 for mid-terms. Rest 30 lies in the hands of the professor. Internal exams or minor, along with assignments and projects according to the professors are done. Lots of projects are a plus point considering you will have hands-on experience and a lot to put on your resume. Course is very widespread, providing electives across the entire stream. From analog to digital, almost everything is covered in electives, if not in the already existing courses in the program. It has very specific targeted courses, along with minor and honours programs.

Absolutely satisfied with faculty members and placement.
Placements: All students are placed. The highest package is 18 LPA, average package is 12 LPA, and the lowest package is 6 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Micron and ICICI Bank. The roles offered by companies are software developer, data scientist, tutor, etc.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available in every room. The infrastructure includes well-built labs, classrooms have good equipments such as projectors and computers. Quality of food available in mess and canteen is decent. Dispensary is available free of cost for students. There are basketball and football grounds.
Faculty: The academics here are rigorous and well-structured. Professors are highly qualified, many with PhDs from IITs/IISc and foreign universities. They encourage research-based learning rather than just written memorization. Semester exams are not that difficult.
Other: I chose this course because of placement and college. There should be more abstract Maths.

NIT Warangal College Review.
Placements: NIT Warangal really stands out as one of the top engineering colleges when it comes to placements, boasting an impressive average package of about 88 LPA. Now, if you were looking specifically at the B.Tech CSE branch, the average package there was around 26 LPA. Its pretty cool because major companies like Goldman Sachs, Microsoft, Samsung, TCS, and Infosys actively recruit from our college. Uber even offered internships with a sweet stipend of 1LPA. Overall, the placement percentage was quite promising, too.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi across the whole campus, as well as LAN in the hostels, was available. The labs were fully equipped and excellent. The library had more than 200,000 books of all kinds. I would rate the food 2 out of 5. Medical and sports facilities were good. The hostels for second year students were not great, but the others were fine. The food was also good.
Faculty: Teachers have good qualifications and a long teaching career. Our course was suitable for our environment. Our schools semester exams were very hard, and to get a good grade, we had to work significantly. Overall, the faculty members are good and approachable.

Prefer this college if you are interested in placements and college life.
Placements: Around 80% of students are placed. 95 to 96% from CSE, 94% from EEE, and 79.4% from civil (batch 2020-2024), with an overall the highest package of 64 LPA and 34.10 LPA from civil engineering. Top recruiting companies are Google, Microsoft, Oracle, SAP Labs, Genpact, Godrej (core), L&T (core), and Zomato (health pure).
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available in every department with proper safety. Classrooms are like school only (this is the worst part), library is very good, around 10cr budget is for the library only. If we talk about the hostel, some hostels are good, like 1.8k, Bhabha hall of residence, Gokhale hall of residence, and best one (well structured) is Azad Hall and Bose Hall, but the rooms are for single occupancy, and they give us double occupancy.
Faculty: Some of the professors are very helpful and qualified from IITS, and they have a vast knowledge about the subject, but they don't know how to teach. Some professors didn't even care if students were getting their point or not. Curriculum is relevant, but we have to do a mandatory internship in core. This one is bad for those who have no interest in the core and are opting for tech placements.
