Placements: In my course, 92% of students got placed this year, of which one got the highest package of 30 LPA. The lowest package was also not that bad, it was 8 LPA, and the average was 13 LPA. Top recruiters were Ola, Uber, Deloitte, Wells Fargo, Reliance, ONGC, etc. 70% of students got internships. The roles that were offered were Manager and Tech Department Expert.

Placements: In my branch, which is Mining, around 90% of students get placed out of those who registered. In my course, the highest package was 30 LPA, while the average package was 12 LPA. I am not sure about the lowest package, but it may be 7 LPA. For Mining particularly, there is Coal India, Bharat Petroleum, etc. But many students got placed in tech companies based on their skills and CGPA. Placements: Around 70% of the students get placed in NitK from Mechanical Engineering. The highest package is 10LPA without the Minor. On taking minor courses the average package will increase. The average package is around 7LPA and the lowest is 5LPA. One of the top recruiting company is Tata Mahindra. Many students get internship opportunities and avail Pre Placement Offers before reaching the final year. The minimum requirement for sitting in campus placement interviews is 7 CGPA.

Placements: NITK Surathkal has consistently demonstrated strong placement performance across various engineering disciplines. In the 2023 placement season, the institute achieved a 92.99% placement rate for B.Tech students, with 796 out of 856 eligible students securing positions. The highest package offered was 54.75 lacs per annum, while the average package stood at 18.26 lacs per annum.

Placements: My branch is electrical and electronics. People from my branch can get into both core and software; however, getting placed in core is quite hard, so most of the students try for software jobs. Almost all companies allow our branch for placements. 80-90 percent of students from our branch get placed.

Placements: 93.7% of students were placed in the 2024 batch of the mechanical engineering course. The highest was 38LPA and 14LPA was the average package. Top company was Bosch. Top roles were in the manufacturing industry and designing jobs. 97% of students got internships from my course.

Placements: The average salary package for mechanical engineering offered was 13 LPA. Around 88% of the students whofor the placement exams from my branch got placed. The highest packageffe was 35 LPA, whereas the lowest salary package offered was 3 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Ford Motors, Texas Instruments, Bajaj Auto, Amazon, and Flipkart. The top internship recruiters were AT&S India, AbInbev, and Aequs Group. Top role offered is Project Manager.

Placements: The placement record is the best in India. The highest package is 55 LPA for domestic and 1.2 crores for international offers. The average package is 25 LPA. Students will get a wide range of internship offers and many other perks. Life in it is so awesome.

Placements: Placements are good this year in the IT branch. Every student got placements. Almost 97% of students got placed. The highest salary package offered is 57 LPA. The average salary package offered ranges between 19 LPA - 21 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 4 LPA. Top recruiters are Amazon, Google, Microsoft, Goldman Sachs, etc. The internship season will start in the 5th semester. Everyone will get internships.

Placements: Placement in NITK Surathkal is great. The placement is slightly declined due to recession. But earlier the placement was way too good, with an overall percentage of 92%. In the year 2021, around 421 companies visited NITK for recruitment. Though the number was less last year.

However, fewer students were selected for internships than for placements, with each company taking fewer than 10 interns.

The highest placement rate was for B.Tech at 93%, while the average placement rate for M.Tech was 83%. The highest package was 55 LPA, and the average package for all departments was 16.25 LPA.
