I suggest joining this college without any doubt.
Placements: In our college, the placements are held every year in which the students of various departments take part. We are trained well before appearing for the interview by conducting webinars and other classes by the college. The placement officer will notify you about the placements in the college.
Infrastructure: Food is homely, and no complaint about it. Food is prepared by an experienced chef who assures the quality of food. If he fails to do so, we are empowered with liberty to explain our concerns to the principal of our college.
Faculty: The faculty members are highly experienced, and all are honored with a doctorate. They teach you like a parent, and they are also friendly. Professors are a part of various research works, and they also explain us about their plans and also ask about our innovative ideas.
Other: The college provides a lot of experience about the real world and also provides us immense knowledge regarding the functioning of politics. We have NCC and NSS units.

It is the best degree college for students.
Placements: The college has provided placements. The college has a placement cell. I have never seen such a great college. They have placement cell from which we will get the required information, but most of the jobs belong to call centre. No software and pharma jobs are available for the students.
Infrastructure: The college looks like a coaching centre. The laboratory is well-equipped, and classrooms are small. We don't have any sports. The canteen is available in the college. We have a college hostel. Everyone will be allowed to stay at the hostel. They charge the maximum of Rs. 10,000 per year.
Faculty: The faculty are the worst thing in the college. The college does not maintain regular staff. No industry exposure is seen, and they don't provide any internship opportunities for students. The faculty and infrastructure of the college are excellent. We have sports block and auditorium.
Other: The college is usually having annual day and freshers day celebration. No extracurricular activities are available, but it is near to the road, and we will have good transport facility.

Life at Nizam College is excellent.
Placements: The course I have chosen is B.Sc. Biotechnology, with 28 students in the class. This course is better for research purposes. The average package per year in the future is 8 lakhs per annum, which might increase further.
Infrastructure: The facilities available are more than enough, including classrooms, staff, etc. It is a great thing that two libraries are available for our use, with sufficient books. The quality and facilities in the hostel are good. Overall, it's a good campus.
Faculty: The faculty is highly qualified and experienced, and the teaching methods are quite different, allowing for better learning. Exams are held twice a year, with a moderate level that enables clearing.
Other: The main reason I chose this course is the better opportunities it offers for research purposes, which attracted me the most. My campus is very broad and good, providing a better environment. Fests, clubs, etc., are conducted every year.

A college for good life and moral values.
Placements: Of course, there are good placements for the good students. Improvement programmes are also conducted by the college. Science students can also get placement in highly authorized companies and they can build their future.
Infrastructure: The hostel is highly protected with good water facility and healthcare system. There is an excellent playground for sportsman coming to study here. The course fee is very reasonable.
Faculty: Teaching faculty is superb and every department has 5-7 lecturers. For the practicals they have other experienced faculty and they have a lot of laboratory material. Students can get opportunities to gain the idea of industrialization.

Q:   How effective is the placement cell for B.Sc. courses at Nizam College?

A:
{Source: B.Sc. students & alumni}

Placement Cell Effectiveness

Based on the feedback from students and alumni, here are some key findings:

* Companies visiting campus: Companies like Wipro, Tech Mahindra, and others visit the campus for placements every year.
* Salary packages: While the highest salary package offered is 2 LPA, the average package ranges from 2.5 LPA to 7 LPA.
* Number of students placed: Around 10-15% of students get jobs, and a significant number of Computer Science students secure placements.
* Internship opportunities: Although there aren't dedicated internship programs for B.Sc. students, some students do get selected for internships.
* Faculty support: The faculty provides training sessions to prepare students for interviews and company-specific tests.
* Placement process: Students need to register with the placement cell to access job opportunities.

Overall, while the placement cell seems to make efforts to engage with recruiters and facilitate placements, the effectiveness appears limited compared to other departments like BBA and Chemistry. However, the placement cell does provide some benefits, such as training sessions and exposure to potential employers.
