B.E. in Electronics and Communication Engineering - Batch of 2024

Our college is excellent.
Placements: Placements are good. Training is also provided to students every semester. Students got a salary package of more than 4 LPA. This is the best college for placements.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good. Our campus is surrounded by trees. Hostels are better. It also has a turf ground. Canteen is available. Mess is excellent.
Faculty: Faculty members are very good and knowledgeable. They treat us like their children. We are very satisfied with the faculty members. They teach us subjects and life education. They always update us on all aspects. They also work very well for the NAAC accreditation. There are many courses like ECE, EEE, BMI, AI, IT, mechanical, civil, and CSE.
Other: Our college has a CAO. They conduct direct meetings.

Well disciplines college.
Placements: Almost every student got placed this year in campus placements. Companies with packages up to 6 LPA come for recruitment. Mainly eNoah solutions, Eureka Forbes, TCS etc. Come for recruitment. Core companies also come to our college. Placement classes are held in our college. It helps us crack aptitude and coding rounds in placements.
Infrastructure: I've never been to my college hostel but friends from the hostel tell me that it is very comfortable to be there and the food quality is really good. Medical facilities and a separate Gym for boys and girls are available. Large cricket fields, basketball courts, and football courts are available.
Faculty: Teachers are good at knowledge and teaching. Teaching quality is better. The curriculum is based on AU. Very much helpful and makes us learn new technologies. Exams are neither tough nor easy to crack. The pass percentage is around 35 %. Most people here clear their arrears very soon.
Other: I chose ECE why because I'm interested in circuits and stuff. Foodfest, Youth festival, Yuvashakthi ( Symposium) and Inter College meets are also held here every year.

I am dissatisfied with the faculty. It provided the worst placement for the 2017 batch.
Placements: Placements in our college are the worst. Only a boy got placed in the reputed company. Others students were being cheated in the name of placements. I got selected in 5 companies but did not receive an offer letter or any mail from any of those companies. None of the students from our batch is working on the campus provided by the college.
Infrastructure: The college provides a huge turf cricket ground and a football ground. The college provides separate hostels with mess facilities for both boys and girls. The mess serves both vegetarian and non-vegetarian food for the students. Gym facility is available. A library is available only with a minimal number of foreign author books along with a large number of local author books and books written by faculty members. National or international journals are not available. It demands compulsory transportation for every student. Mobile phones are not allowed. It is very strict, but not worth it. Sports facilities are not available for engineering students.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college are the worst. Staff members working here are with average or poor qualification. Hod is not a doctorate. There is only show off of things, and nothing much. They will teach 3 units out of 5, with which we cannot aim at university ranks, which is the worst thing.
Other: I have chosen this course because I had a passion for becoming a scientist in ISRO or for achieving something in the telecom sector, but this college shattered my dreams completely. I wish the college should improve faculty members. More information should be provided to students regarding events in other colleges also. The campus is good. But it must improve a lot in the course curriculum.

The infrastructure is good, and the placements are average.
Placements: Placements for the last batch (2018 passed out) were quite good and crisp. Approximately, more than 80 students out of 110 from the electronics and communication department got placed, that makes the placement percentage of about 75%. The highest package offered was 3 LPA and the lowest was 1.2 LPA. Companies like eNoah iSolution, Enterprise Tech, Syrma Technology and NCR Corporation visited the campus for placements. The roles offered were trainee engineer, operator and quality analyst. About 40% of the students got internships from college. The stipend offered was about Rs. 10,000 per month. There is no proper placement cell in the college.
Infrastructure: The college has a pleasant and peaceful environment. The infrastructure meets the requirements of the students. It has all the facilities that an engineering college should have. The campus is Wi-Fi enabled, and its speed is 100mbps. Almost every classroom has a projector and computer facilities. I didn't face any issue with the infrastructure.
Faculty: All the faculty members are highly qualified. Every one of them holds a Masters degree, and some of them are PhD holders. Faculty members of every department use their own strategy for teaching like they provide personalised coaching for slow learners after college hours for students excepting those who are into sports. The course curriculum followed is designed by Anna University. There are about 15 staff members for about 200 students in each department.
Other: Twice a year, the college conducts cultural activities. Students premiere league is conducted once a year.

I will not refer this college. This is like another school with worthless rules.
Placements: There are no proper placements for students. The college won't place students in the core or IT companies. Students were placed in BPO companies rather than core companies. Some students were placed in consultancies. In 2017, they cheated students by giving duplicate placement papers. NPR is the worst for placements.
Infrastructure: The college has a nice infrastructure, and a cricket ground is available but students can't use it often. The labs are somewhat better when comparing to other colleges. The library staffs are so rude that they won't sign the no dues form if we forget to bring the book we took from the library. Due to improper maintenance of college, we faced insect bites in the first year.
Faculty: The faculty members are nice and well-experienced, but the management is the worst. They insist and put pressure on the faculty members to take attendance in the college bus, and if we miss the bus, then we can't get in another bus. They allot seat numbers for students, and we cannot change the seat next. Though the college doesn't provide good placements, they impose strict rules on students. The canteen and hostel facilities are good. Wi-Fi facility is available but students are not allowed to use laptops and mobile phones, so there is no use of Wi-Fi facility. Cisco training will be provided in the 4th year, but no certification will be provided for it.
Other: There are no good placements, and no symposiums are conducted. Only the annual day is celebrated, and there are no extracurricular activities. Morning tests are conducted daily, and the lab facilities are good.
