NSD 2025 Application Form will be out soon on the official website for the NSD 2025 Entrance Exam. Once, the NSD Application Form start on the official website students need to fill in the application form online by filling in their details within the due date. The NSD Application Form 2025 will be released by the exam conducting authority National School of Drama

As per the previous year's NSD exam dates, the starting date of the NSD 2025 application form will be out in the third week of June 2025, tentatively. The amount of NSD 2025 Application fee is INR 50, and candidates need to submit the fee online modes like Credit Card, Debit Card, or Net Banking. According to the NSD official website, if a student fails to fulfil his/her application form before the end date then they will not be eligible for any other admission process. Students must also attach their certificate copies, passport-size photographs, and testimonials while submitting their NSD Application form. The NSD 2025 Admit Card release date is the second week of July month, 2025, tentatively.

How to Apply for NSD Entrance Exam 2025

Students who are going to take the NSD Exam 2025 to pursue a Diploma course in Dramatic Arts for three years, should read the step-by-step procedure of the NSD Entrance Exam Admission Process as mentioned in the following table. 

  1. Registration Process: The first step is the registration process where all the new candidates need to register themselves by visiting the official website by clicking on 'New Registration,' after clicking on the 'Admission' tab. Once, the students have filled in all the essential details, they need to click on the 'Submit Button'. After successfully registering themselves students will receive a User ID and Password and they will get all the exam-related information on their email ID.
  2. Application Form: To fill in the application form students need to fill in their password and username to log in. After that, they need to fill in the needed details and mandatory information in the Application form along with documents and image uploading as per the given dimension and size. 
  3. Application Fee: Students need to submit their NSD Application Fee 2025 after uploading the documents which is INR 50. The mode of payment is online so, students need to submit the fee via credit card, ATM Card, and Net Banking.

To take NSD Entrance Exam, candidates need to know about NSD Entrance Exam admission process. 

Candidates need to visit the official website of the exam to download the NSD Entrance Exam application form. After filling the application form, candidates are required to submit the application form along with the demand draft of INR 150 from nationalized bank drawn in favour of Director, National School of Drama, New Delhi.

Next, candidates need to submit the +2 pass certificate, graduation marks sheets & Degree, complete bio-data, address proof, testimonial copies of Certificate, four recent passport size photographs, experience certificate of theatre along with the application form.

Notably, candidates will be required to produce original documents / certificates at the time of the interview.

Q:   What is the provision for foreign candidates interested in taking admission through NSD exam?

A:

Foreign students may take admission in the course. However, because of the limited number of seats, it is not feasible to accommodate more than one or two foreign students in each session. Such students have to submit their applications through the Indian Embassy/High Commission in their respective countries, who will forward these to the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) in India. The School will then consider the application recommended by the ICCR. Students have to submit their applications in the prescribed form of the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR).
