It is the best government college with value for money.
Placements: All of the students are placed in good firms with the best salary packages. Others opt for going for post graduation which is available in the college. The training and placement cell brings the best firms and also co-ordinates between the students and the companies.
Infrastructure: Department is equipped with advanced classrooms and smart teaching facilities. A library and all types of labs are present in the department building. There is also a lobby that can be used for semi-outdoor studies. The department is centrally air cooled and also has Wi-Fi connection everywhere.
Faculty: The faculty is the best in providing the best supervision and has good teaching facilities. They help after the college hours also if needed. They are very complacent and see that the students learn. The curriculum is one of the best which is along with theoretical knowledge also prepares us for after college life through practical training.

Review of College of Engineering and Technology, Biju Patnaik University of Technology.
Placements: The placements are usually off-campus for architecture courses. But many national-based competitions and project works help the students to gain experience and prepare them for upcoming challenges. Students can go for internships from 1st year based on their skills. Few companies provide internships to final-year students. Around 60-70% of students go for internships related to graphic design and also architectural firms.
Infrastructure: The campus is very large and greenery. It is surrounded by landscapes. The campus atmosphere is very interactive. The campus Wi-Fi is accessible 24X7. Classrooms and corridors are well maintained. There are separate architectural studios and workshop spaces for our department.
Faculty: The course curriculum, facilities, and academic staff are very interactive and good. They are very regular and sincere. The faculty members are responsible and supportive for both design and theory subjects. But in some cases, the students can not completely depend on the respective faculty members to learn and understand thoroughly. But for major design subjects, they always provide enough support and scope.
Other: I opted for this architecture because of my interest in drawings and mathematics and somehow this course defines their combination. This is a very vast course with multiple career options. Starting from doing pure architecture to graphic designing or any other design major, one can opt for multiple courses. This is a very creative course with the greatest value. Coming into college events, the college arranges 3 fests per year. One of them is a cultural fest and other 2 are technical fest. There are numerous scholarships program that helps the students financially. There is an ACET merit scholarships of value 10,000 per annum that is awarded to 10% of students of both UG and PG based on JEE or HATE rank for 1st year and CGPA for 2nd year onwards.

College of Engineering and Technology Bhubaneswar/Odisha University of Technology and Research
Placements: There are 20 seats in the B.Arch course in our university. As per my knowledge, there hasn't been any recruitment done for placement in our branch. There is a chance of 99% of internship done in the final year in our branch, and a few students prefer to do the internship starting from the 3rd year of the course. Recently, in this year, L&T has recruited a few students from B.Arch from our branch. Architectural designer , architectural engineer, architectural manager , architectural journalist, space architect, and others are a few roles.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the architecture branch in our university is very poor. We are facing many problems, such as washrooms that are inactive and a shortage of tables and chairs in our branch sometimes. The food available in the mess of the hostel is very unhygienic and poorly handled. There is a dispensary in our campus, and our university promotes being involved in sports.
Faculty: Our faculties are the only reason our branch is in working condition. They are very knowledgeable and are very experienced in terms of teaching. Our curriculum is relevant and it helps us out to face the real world. Our semester examinations are easy. To moderate the passing score, it is above 5 CGPA.
Other: Architecture was my first preference, so I never needed any other reason to choose any other course over architecture. Architecture is extremely stressful, and one needs to manage time efficiently. It helps us out to be multifunctional and multitalented. There are various fests in our university, being Xtasy the biggest one and Perception, Engineers Cup, etc.

Other: It is a government college, which implies lack of management, especially in the architecture department. The course lacks practical experience. The results don't come out on time. Faculties are fair enough but with very less campus facilities. Though it is a government college you pay less, that's the only benefit you get, rest all is a struggle to pass out.

Review of College of Engineering and Technology, Biju Patnaik University of Technology.
Placements: Placements are not provided by our college for our department. We did not get opportunities to apply for any campus interviews organised in our college as they require computer programming skills. We are not taught any course on computer programming in our syllabus. So, usually, students tend to find jobs on their own through personal contacts or walk-in interviews.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is fine, but there is a lack of sufficient area for proper designing and model making practices. There are no computers which have the software required by our course curriculum. So students do not like to spend much time in the department or inside the classrooms.
Faculty: Faculty members are helpful in our college. But our syllabus and curriculum set by the university are not really sufficient enough to compete in the world outside the campus. We need to learn computer languages and attend other software related training outside the college.
