College of Engineering and Technology Bhubaneswar has also released the internship statistics for 2022-23. Rourkela Steel Plant selected the highest number of students during CET BBSR internships 2022-23.

Review of College of Engineering and Technology, Biju Patnaik University of Technology.
Placements: Software and other companies come here. Overall, the placements are good enough here. The average package is 4.8 LPA. The top recruiters are IT companies. I am interested in Physics, and because of the hype for this college in Bhuvaneshwar, I chose this college. There are a lot of events on the campus. You'll enjoy for sure.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is very good. The college facilities are good, and laboratories are available for different subjects. Currently, sports are promoted at a good pace. Hostels are very good. Our college has well-equipped and upgraded laboratories. Classrooms are also properly ventilated and lit, which provides a good atmosphere.
Faculty: The teachers are good enough. But some improvement is needed in the labs, and new instruments must be provided as it now changed to OUTR, and R stands for research.

The place is quite beautiful.
Placements: The total intake of students is 30 in my batch. The highest package is 10 Lacs, average package is 6 Lacs and the lowest is 4 Lacs offered in my course. The top recruiting companies are TCS, Infosys, TATA STEEL BSL, Accenture, Robert Bosch etc. In the above companies around 80 percent of the students got internship from our course. Usually many students after IMSC, option for higher studies (PhD). The top roles are data analyst, professor, researcher.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very poor, the old buildings need to be repaired. The classroom windows are broken and usually very dirty. You have to clean your desk to sit. Wi-Fi is available. In the library, you can borrow books and there are lots of materials, magazines, and your study books. There is also a reading room where you can study for hours, labs are also in pretty good condition with AC. The infrastructure of hostel is not also good. But yes you can compromise that because of good canteen food. And usually the bathrooms and floors are clean. There was a separate room for medical purpose in hostel also where you can find your first aid. The hostel also contain rooms like gym and library also. In the campus, there are various games played from volleyball to free fire everything you can find here.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful and will always try to improve us, they are the greatest support we have. All the faculty has Ph.D. qualification. The teaching quality is excellent but yes some teachers are very bad, like you will fall asleep in middle of the lecture. This course is relevant and makes you industry ready, it offers courses like Java, python, and c/c+. Semester exams are little hard because although the question is moderate but the time limit is very less and you will be unable to complete it in time. The pass percentage is 90. Hardly anyone fail.
Other: The course offers many opportunities like you get a PG Certificate directly you don't have to struggle after B.Sc. to get in M.Sc. in the same branch. In addition to Maths, you also get a PG in computing also which help you in better placements. But there should be some improvement in the course, like the theory part should be less and more practical part should be added. And the infrastructure needs to be improved. In this college, there is always events, fests and quite a lot campus crowd. Here, there are different clubs for everything like EWB, ZAIRZEST, Aerospace etc. If you secure a good rank in JEE entrance then you get INR 10000 in first year. And after that, if you score more than 8.5 CGPA you will get scholarship of 10000 per annum.

The college is good with its infrastructure and placements.
Placements: About 80% of students were placed in our course as this course is newly inaugurated in this college. Therefore, the popularity of this course is not much more compared to NITS. The highest package is about 7.5 LPA, the lowest is 2 LPA and the average is 3.5 LPA. Companies like Dr. Reddy, JK paper and publications, and many more pharmaceutical companies come for recruitment. Nearly 40% of students are recruited by these companies in our course. This year students got recruited in JK Paper Pvt limited and a few students got recruited in TCS and Infosys because of their interest in technical line. Roles such as executive manager etc., are the roles provided.
Infrastructure: The college gives Wi-Fi facility to every student with very strong privacy. The labs and classroom infrastructure are good. All the labs have very nice postures which look very attractive and have a posture of our syllabus. The library is also good and it has all the books needed by the students during their course or semester. Hostel, quality of food, the mess is all good but the canteen area is little dirty. There are so many facilities for sports and games, and tournament with other colleges takes place.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful, friendly, knowledgeable clear all the doubts in class in case of any doubt they clear it when the student consult them in their cabin. They have qualified net, GATE. According to my perception this course curriculum should have the duration of 4 years instead of 5 years as it is a integrated course. Yes because in our 4 th year they teach about industrial things. Intermediate between easy and difficult are the exams. Nearly 70 -80percentage students pass.
Other: Because of my interest in Chemistry, I choose this course instead of civil engineering and biotechnology. It gives us an idea about how medicines are made and their composition etc. There should be internship opportunities in our college. Campus crowd, events, and fest are all good. There are many scholarships such as Emedhabruti and laptop distribution and money for meritorious students which is very fascinating and grows the interest in study.

Review of Biju Patnaik University of Technology.
Placements: I have taken an integrated M.Sc. Our seniors got a very good rank in exams like NET, GATE, etc.
Infrastructure: College has free Wi-Fi, a good library, a reading room, co-curriculum activities, and the quality of food is very good. Elevators are available in the building, so you don't need to go by stairs. It has an aqua guard water filter. Classrooms are very good and there are smart rooms also.
Faculty: Teachers are very cooperative and helpful. Semesters are very competitive as the quality of teaching is high. Teachers behavior is very humble and friendly to ask a doubt. They cover every part of the syllabus.
Other: I have a great interest in Physics. So I chose it.

Absolutely satisfied for good placements.
Placements: There is a very good placement cell in CET. In my course, 94% of candidates got placement in various companies like TCS, Maruti Suzuki, Tata steel, Bosch etc. with the maximum package of 5 Lacs/annum and the lowest package of 2.5 Lacs/annum. 100% of students got internship in best industry or institutions every year in my department.
Infrastructure: My department is situated in the new lab building. There are very clean classrooms. There is a high-speed Wi-Fi connection. Laboratories are very well maintained. There are 2 boys hostel in CET. And they are also in good condition. Food quality is also very good in the mess. There is a dispensary for all students. And there are many sports, dance and singing clubs.
Faculty: Faculty members are more helpful than other engineering colleges. They are well qualified also. Their teaching quality is very good. There is a exam cell in CET academic block where all the exam sheets and exam planning meetings are held. The semester exams of my department is very tough and well maintained by my teachers.

Average college but worth it.
Placements: 80 percent of students were placed in my college and placements were mainly from pharmaceutical companies. Usually, in this course, as you are doing, you will easily become a teacher after your integrated course, which lasts for 5 years. The highest package is INR 15 lacs, and the lowest is INR 7 lacs.
Infrastructure: Hi-tech labs are there. Every chemical you need in labs is available here. Library facilities, a reading room, and clean bathrooms are also available and the quality of food is also good in the canteen. The quality of food sometimes changes, like when the food is fresh. While sometimes it is intolerable, yes, the canteen and nearby foods are there to help you.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful; they teach you throughout every lesson. Semester exams are a little bit hard. The course curriculum is very advanced. It makes students industry-ready. The pass percentage is 50 or above. There are two exams: mid-semester I (20 marks) and annual.
Other: I chose this course because I love chemistry, BBSR is the best place to go, and yes, it is a government institute; they also give you scholarships.
