Review of College of Engineering Technology, Bhubaneswar.

Placements: Many software and consultancy companies visit the campus for placements, but very few core companies visit here. Many marketing companies also visit the campus for recruitment. Entrepreneurs also visit to recruit here. NGOs are also visiting for recruitment every year. Companies like Tata Consultancy Services, Infosys, Maruti Suzuki, Vedant, Byju's, Jaro Education, Mahindra, Robert Bosch, and many others visit the campus for recruitment.

Faculty members and the course curriculum are moderate in our college.

Placements: If 3-4 more core company visit our campus for placements, it would be better. However, good IT companies visit our campus for placements frequently. During our batch, more companies visited our campus as compared to last year. Almost 75% of students got placed during our year. The average salary package offered was 3.5 LPA.

The college is very enjoyable, but I am a little dissatisfied because of the infrastructure.

Placements: There is a placement cell in college which takes care of placements. Almost 50-60% of the students got placed from our batch. Many reputed companies like TCS, Wipro, Intel, etc., recruited students. The highest salary package offered was 10 LPA by Microsoft, and the lowest salary package offered was 3.36 LPA.

Good placements, infrastructure, and faculty members.

Placements: There is a placement cell in our college. Due to their coordination, almost 90% placements were held during the 2018 batch, and 300 students were selected. Both technical and non-technical roles were offered, and both on-campus and off-campus drives were held. The salary packages offered ranged from 5-12 lacs per annum.

A good college if you work hard with great determination.

Placements: Although the college organises mass recruitment drives, the placements of the college are average. Good placements are provided according to your skills. Our college also has a placement cell with placement coordinators for every branch. Placements for the core branches are a bit low, but as far as the CS and IT branches are concerned, placements are good.

Overall, the college is good, and it is one of the best colleges in Odisha.

Placements: Placements in the college are good, but the placements for the civil engineering department are not up to the mark. Since the construction companies need experienced employees, they don't hire freshers. However, some IT companies hire civil engineering students. So placements for the civil engineering department are average when compared to other branches.

Satisfied with the overall facilities provided in our college.

Placements: Placements in college are quite good. Some dream companies like Bosch, Vedanta, Delloite and Asian Paints recruit many students with high packages. Almost all the mass recruiters like TCS, Accenture, Infosys, IBM, and Wipro visited for IT students and recruited a huge number of students. The placement record is very high. Almost 64 small and big companies (start-ups and IT giants) visited our college till now.

The college is situated in Bhubaneswar, and it will help people in getting jobs.

Placements: Placements in college are good enough. Lots of companies visit the campus for placements. Mainly IT companies visit here and hire almost 70% of students. Salary packages offered are starting from 3.2 LPA. Last year, the highest salary package offered was 25 LPA. Core companies like Asian Paints, Maruti Suzuki, Vedanta, Alumina, etc., visit the campus for placements. In the IT sector, mainly TCS and Accenture companies hire maximum students.

The best engineering college in Odisha, run by the Odisha government at an autonomous level.

Placements: Our seniors from mechanical were well-acquainted with the college placement records in various years. They got the opportunity to attend the placement drives of core engineering companies like MSIL, Vedanta, Godrej, and Windmoller. The college has a good placement record of at least 75% in the mechanical department. In the meantime, it also supports the students who have good technical knowledge. By the end of January 2019, the college holds a 70% placement record on an average.

A review of CET, Bhubaneswar.

Placements: The college didn't provide any placements for post graduation courses. Only B.Tech students get placed in the college. Companies like TCS, Infosys, etc., recruit the majority of students. Very few students get placed in core companies like Maruti Suzuki and Tata Steel. There are no campus placements for M.Tech students. The course is only valid to increase your qualifications as you won't get any job from the college by pursuing M.Tech course.

It has been the best rival of NIT, Rourkela for the last few decades.

Placements: There were 80 students in our batch. Around 25 students joined core companies like Maruti Suzuki, Asian Paints, Vedanta, and TRL. Around 60 students joined software companies like TCS, Accenture, etc. Some students got a good score in GATE, so they have chosen their respective paths. We have top-level placements with a good package of 5.4 LPA CTC in companies like Maruti Suzuki. A package of 25 LPA CTC was offered to three students of information technology in our batch.

This year, the highest package offered is 15.4 LPA, and the lowest package offered is 3 LPA. This year, around 15 software companies and 10 core companies visited the campus for placements. Placements: I'm a student of mechanical engineering branch. So, only a few companies visit the campus for recruiting the students of our branch. The average package offered was 3.8 lacs per annum. Also, many IT companies recruit a few students, for example, TCS recruited 200 students in our college.

We had good placements in the year 2014.

Placements: In the year 2014, placements in our college were good. About 70% of the computer science and IT department students got placed. Internships were offered to the students on the basis of individual contacts. The major recruiter was Tata Consultancy Services. Companies like IBM, Infosys, Capgemini, Mindtree, etc., came to our college for placements.

A moderate campus, and there is a scope for development as it's a 25-year old college.

Placements: Placements in our college are not that good. Many good companies come to the city but not to our college. We had to go for off-campus placements. TCS is the major recruiter, and then come companies like Bosch, Asian Paints, TEKsystems, Mindtree, Maruti, etc. But this year only 40% of students got placed, and I think the percentage will boost up in the coming years.

Good college life , excellent academics, poor placements, good faculties & average infrastructure

Placements: The placement scenario used to be good with a few companies coming for recruitment till the batch of 2016, but right in our year due to a enormous increase in seats and not enough infrastructure to support it there was a downfall in placements. Though there were a number of IT companies coming for placement, there were only a few core companies. The highest placement package for core companies was Asian Paints offering 8.7 LPA whereas the same for CS / IT waa 24 LPA.
