Very disappointed after joining Panimalar .

Faculty: The teachers are underqualified and some of them have just finished a diploma and don't even have a proper degree. There are just lab assistants with zero knowledge about the subject who got promoted, as they are okay with low salaries. The course is updated but the teachers aren't and they just give us notes to copy down. No teaching is done. Semester exams are easy but the pass percentage is 50% due to the poor quality of teaching .

The Junk college of Tamil Nadu.

Faculty: The teachers are not at all helpful; they are very rude towards the students and not at all qualified. They are just lab assistants who don't even know the basics of the subject. They just give us notes and tell us to copy them down. The syllabus is also outdated and focuses only on theoretical concepts. Semester exams are quite easy, but only 50% of students pass them. If a student gets an arrear, they are discriminated against.

Highly disappointed and depressed by Joining this college and placements fear me a lot.

Faculty: The teachers were very helpful and guided us well regarding our extra skills and life in industry but when it came to academic teaching, proper explanations of topics were not given; only notes were given without fail and asked the students to just memorize them, which happens in most of the English colleges. Our course was designed by Anna University as we are non-autonomous and exams and corrections were done by Anna University, so there are no possible chances of a high CGPA, which happens in...

Number 1 worst college in Chennai.

Faculty: Teachers are qualified but don't even know the basics of 12th standard. They are just lab assistants who prepare notes from ChatGPT and ask us to study from them. Nothing is taught in the classrooms; we are only asked to lie down or copy down the notes. The course is updated, but there is no one here to teach it. Semester exams happen every 3 months, but only 60% of the students pass them.

I am absolutely dissatisfied with the staff.

Faculty: The teachers don't have basic knowledge about the subject, and teachers bunk the classes by sitting in the staff rooms in the AC. They are just lab assistants who don't even know what programming is. The course is outdated, and students have to develop their own skills. Semester exams are difficult, and only 50% of students pass.

Top engineering college in Chennai.

Faculty: The teachers were more irritative. And they were very strict. And they also task us to avoid interaction with boys and students. It's a little bit tougher to crack semester examinations. And they won't support us in extracurricular activities, but they are very supportive during exams.

100th tier college in India .

Faculty: Teachers are very rude and do not respect the students feelings and treat them like slaves; they are not at all knowledgeable and just order us to copy down notes. If a student raises his voice for his rights, he will be crushed to pressure under the principal and threatened with internal marks and suspension. Semester exams are tough and around 40–50% pass them.

Panimalar Chennai is the worst college.

Faculty: The teachers lack the basic skills needed and have no grip over the subject; they come mechanical and just write something on the board and ask us to write it down. No teaching happens; otherwise, they just put on a slide show and make us sleep. The course is new and up to the mark but no one has that level of knowledge to teach it. Semester exams are tough and only 50% of FET is placed .

This college offers an absolutely disgusting engineering college life.

Faculty: The teachers are very rude and act very harshly towards the students. They are not qualified at all. They always harass the students for even simple mistakes of not wearing shoes or moving from one bench to another in the class. The semester exams are very tough and only around 50 percent of the students pass. The highest CGPA is 8.5.

It has a very depressing college life.

Faculty: Teachers lack even the basic knowledge. They are not qualified at all. They are all just lab assistants. They don't even know the basics of programming, all they know is to torture us with the rules trying to make us their slaves. Course is designed by Anna University which is not at all proper or updated. The semester exams are easy but the passing percentage is just 50% due to the lack of proper teaching staff.

Living In Terror: Lost my college life.

Faculty: Teachers lack basic knowledge in their subject. The whole of staff consists of lab assistants. They don't even know the basics of programming. They only know to defame you in a case and threaten you in the name of internal markings. The course is designed by Anna University and passing percentage is 50 percent. Due to this students gain no practical knowledge and just memorize the books.

Depressed about joining this college.

Faculty: Teachers are very inexperienced and have no knowledge about the subject; they are just lab assistants. Given the post of assistant professor, they get a salary of 60,000, but ACT is very professional, and for every issue, they just threaten us in the name of internal marks. The curriculum is made by Anna University, and my college is not autonomous.

Review of Panimalar Institute of Technology.

Dissatisfied with this dumb college.

Faculty: No proper guidance by the staff; they are not qualified at all; they are just lab assistants who take our class with absolute zero knowledge. They threaten us for even a small mistake and say internals are in their hands. The course is designed by Anna and the semester exams are conducted by her as well, so the pass percentage is only 40 %.
