Placements: The recruitment process at our college is quite well. But hardly 5% of the students got placed. Companies like Wipro and Genpact visit the campus for recruitment. Students expected high placements and internship fairs, but the recruitment process got cancelled due to this lockdown situation.
Placements: Placements for final year students in my college are pretty good as well as the internship opportunities for juniors too. Top recruiters for my course were Ernst & Young, Bajaj Capital, FIS Global, Cent, etc.fFor various positions with an average package of 4.5 LPA.
Placements: Financial Analyst was one such profile that mainly preferred Economics graduates. The pay scale in this field was around 2-3 Lacs per annum. Another profile that some of my batchmates were interested in was of Research Associate, which was open for all courses and offered a decent package of 2.6-4 Lacs per annum.
Placements: None of the students in our course got placed. However, there were placements for statistics in other colleges. No companies came for placements, and not even the toppers got placed. Ideal roles for the course are as a data analyst, data scientist, ML, AI, etc.
Placements: There weren't many students who got placed. I didn't go for placements, but our batchmates attended. Although the quarantine became a resisting force against the placements, and placements weren't that great. A very limited number of job profiles were offered. Only qualified students can get placed, but still there seemed to be a lack of opportunities.
Placements: Almost 40-60% of the students from the final year are placed from our course. Placements: The highest salary package offered was 6 LPA. About 27% of the students from our course got placement in the year 2018. I don't know the companies that visited our college for placements. Most of the students from the B.A course get placement. Around 50% of the students from our course do an internship.
Infrastructure: This college offers great salary packages. Our college has a unique placement cell which takes care of the students who are interested in placements by providing them with the best possible number of opportunities. The placements cell also arranges many internship programs for students in order to provide them with a practical approach for their academics. To secure a job in a reputed firm, our college organises many personality development, group discussion and soft skills sessions, etc., for s...
