Faculty members are not sufficient and there are no placements.

Placements: In our college, placement offers were not too good. Our principal was asked us to give our CV for some vacancies in Reshmi Cement Ltd., but the company was not so good for growth. Again, as a chemistry student, anyone can expect a medicinal or chemical factory job, but the college did not give any chance or did not conduct any seminars regarding placements.

Infrastructure: Our college infrastructure was moderate and not well decorated. There were no classrooms with projectors. Labs were good. Wi-Fi was available but not everywhere. The library was not huge enough. There wasn't a sufficient number of books. Our campus was not clean.

Faculty: Our teachers were not very helpful, except for one or two teachers. All were engaged with their Ph.D.s. They did not give any attention to the M.Sc. or B.Sc. students in a sufficient way. Our syllabus was very good but due to insufficient teaching staff, most topics were just covered but not precisely.

Review of Panskura Banamali College.

Placements: Almost 50-60% of the students from the chemistry department get a placement in various pharmaceutical companies like Chembiotech or TCG LifeScience in Kolkata through written tests and interviews organised by the company, and we get to know about it by our college teachers. Top recruiting companies like Chembiotech or TCG LifeScience visit our college for placements. The highest salary package offered in our course ranges from 2.5-3 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 1.2 LPA. Roles like chromatography and titration are offered to the students.

Infrastructure: Facilities in our department are well enough to learn new things regarding our subject practical and project work for M.Sc students. There are many labs so that UG, PG and PhD students can work and learn freely. Separate labs are also available for research work. Wi-Fi facility is not available for UG or PG students, and it is only available for research workouts. The library is excellent. There is both a reading room and an internet surfing room. The hostel is also well-maintained, and the rooms are also very good. The quality of the food given in the hostel is delicious, but the canteen must be improved. Medical facilities are also very good. Every week the MBBS doctor visit our college. There is a giant ground in the middle of our campus, which is enough to make anyone understand. All kinds of sports have been played here with enthusiasm. There is also a basketball court, but students are less interested in it.

Faculty: Faculty members in our department are geniuses. They guide you and help you in any kind. The quality of teaching you will get here will make you more knowledgeable throughout your entire life. The course curriculum is well-enough arranged, which help us in future for research purpose or in industrial jobs. Semester exams are not difficult if you attend your classes attentively. The pass percentage is 20% which is minimal.

Other: I have chosen this course because I think in my field there is a better opportunity to get jobs and do higher studies, which is the best thing about it. To improve in our course I have to study more books of other authors and journals and must not forget the basic ones, so I have to revise them from time to time. Many cultural programmes like grand fest are organised on the campus. Students organise Nabin Boron, a welcome party for juniors, teacher's day for the teachers and farewell for the seniors. In intercollege competitions, if we are capable, then we can take part in different extracurricular activities. If students are eligible, then they can apply for a scholarship and verify it through office staff members.
