Review of Patna Science College, Patna University.

Placements: Our college doesn't provide placement opportunities. Students who score 9 CGPA are not eligible for placements. Companies don't visit our college to recruit students. Students don't get internships. Top roles offered are data analyst, etc.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is not good. Our college is Wi-Fi enabled. Classrooms are old. The hostel facilities are average. The hostel fee is Rs. 3,500 per year. The mess fee is Rs. 3,100 per month. Wi-Fi facility is not available in the hostel. They don't provide a water cooler. We neither have a playground nor a canteen.

Faculty: Our teachers are supportive and well-qualified. Semester exams are easy. The pass percentage is 75%. The course curriculum is not updated with the new pattern. The teaching quality is good. The learning process is good.

Other: I opted for this course because it is the best option for UPSC. They should conduct tutorial classes.

Absolutely satisfied because of good faculty and good placement.

Placements: I do not know about the top roles offered in our course. Also, I do not know about the top recruiting companies for my course. The highest, lowest, and average packages offered in our course were INR 6 Lacs , INR 2 lacs, and INR 4 lacs, respectively. 20% of students were placed in my course.

Infrastructure: The facilities for our course are average, and infrastructure is available for each department separately. Yes, there are all facilities available, like Wi-Fi, labs, and libraries. The quality of the facilities in our hostel is also average, facilities like available mess and canteen is not available there. Medical facilities, sports, and games are good.

Faculty: The teachers were helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The quality of teaching is good, and the way of understanding is too good. Yes, the course is relevant. It does not prepare the student for industry. The semester exam is neither too easy nor too hard. More than 95% of students passed the semester exam.

Review of Sort Patna Science College, Patna University.

Placements: Companies don't visit our college to recruit students, because all courses are basic. They don't provide technical courses. The placement techniques are good and helpful for the future. I would recommend joining this college for students who want to get into the civil services.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good. Our college provides us with all facilities. Wi-Fi facility is available in all departments. A central library is available in our college. Our college provides labs related to all subjects like physics, chemistry, etc. Classrooms are equipped with projectors. Dolphin Research Center is available in the geology department. Sports and games are conducted every year. A huge playground is available in our college.

Faculty: All faculty members are very helpful and talented. They clear our doubts. They are knowledgeable. Almost 95% of students pass exams. Semester exams are easy to pass because of teaching techniques.

Other: I opted for this course because of my interest in Mathematics, and I wanted to go into the research field.

Our college is very old, and it has a prestigious name.

Placements: I am from Statistics honours, and there are 65 students in my course. Since 2015, there haven't been any placements. I don't know why, but it is very disappointing. No companies came to our college. I heard from seniors that even the toppers don't get placed here. Only 2% of students get internships from our course on their own. Our college only offers a graduation degree.

Infrastructure: We have a separate building for our course. It has labs, classrooms and a library. Wi-Fi is available for us. But labs are only for namesake. Due to covid, we didn't even visit there once. The hostel condition is not good enough. They all are very old buildings and also not renovated on time. Due to Covid crisis, our canteen tot closed and isn't opened yet. Sports are available in our college, and you can play any sports here. You can participate in any game. The college also conducts tournaments.

Faculty: Our teachers are very caring. They are always ready to help us. They are knowledgeable, and they always help us in our studies. Their teaching quality is good. This course is curriculum relevant. It also makes the students industry-ready. Exams are very tough for us. But our teachers teach very well, so we have no problem. Our pass percentage is 90%.

Other: I chose this course because it has a huge scope all over the world. I just want to have some good lab faculty. Our college always conducts events.

The college does not have a good environment for study.

Placements: A very less percentage of students get placements from this college. The average salary package offered is 2 LPA to 3 LPA. Top recruiting companies are HCL, TCS, Pharma companies, etc. This year, only about 20% of students of science subject got placements in these companies.

Infrastructure: Facilities are not at the top level but the college is good to study. The classrooms are good. There is Wi-Fi for everyone and the library is also quite good. But hostels are very poor and do not have a studying environment. It is difficult to study. The library is small and has no proper hygiene.

Faculty: Teachers in our college are helpful but they are mostly guest teachers. The available courses are also very less compared to other universities. Exams are conducted normally but sometimes there are insane errors in results. This year, they gave the first year B.Sc. result which was very poor.
