Q:   What to do after JEE Main session 2 result?

A:

Candidates preparing for IITs are only required to appear for the JEE Advanced entrance exam after qualifying JEE Main. Students who who secure above the 98th percentile in JEE Main 2024 Session 2 should start preparing for JEE Advanced 2025 immediately. Those who score between 95th and 98th percentile should focus on improving their JEE Main score by taking multiple mock tests and practicing previous year's question papers. By analysing their strengths and weaknesses, candidates can identify their areas of proficiency and topics where they need improvement. If they can achieve full marks in their practice sessions, they can start preparing for JEE Advanced. However, if they cannot score full marks, it is recommended that they appear for multiple mock test series for more practice.

College is excellent and wonderful.
Placements: In our college, 70 to 80% of students are placed on campus, depending on knowledge and skills. Our highest package is 9 LPA, and the lowest package is 3 LPA. Many companies come to our campus, and they select most of the students. Internships are also provided.
Infrastructure: The facilities in our college are excellent because it has a good environment. The teaching style is also good. The lab is suitable for studying, and the classroom is clean. There is also a library for students and faculty, which has computers available. Wifi is also available in our college.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful, all are qualified and knowledgeable, and their teaching style is effective. Yes, this course offers a curriculum that is relevant. There is no difficulty in the semester exams, but it depends on the students. The passing criteria are also good for all subjects.
Other: I chose this course because I like the subject. The best thing about this course is that it helps us gain knowledge and skills. In our college, cultural events are a major attraction for the students, and many celebrities come to these events.

The first year is good and the remaining year you have to do all by yourself .
Placements: 30–20% of students are placed in the overall engineering department. The highest package is 12 LPA. Average package is 4 LPA. The lowest package is 3 LPA. TCS, Wipro, etc. are the top recruiters. The internship is not provided by the college; you have to do it on your own.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good at the college, and the hostel is good. I have no idea about Wi-Fi services as I'm a day scholar, which means I travel every day for college. The labs and classrooms are average. The canteen is good, there is Gymkhana in college, and many events are conducted in college.
Faculty: The first-year faculty are very good, and they give you all study material from which you can score good marks in your SEM exam. I would expect all colleges to be IIT-level colleges; all are following outdated courses, which does not make you industry-ready fully. The semester exams are tough if you don't study, but if you do, it's easy to clear the semester exam.
Other: I just chose the course because it was in market trend and the weave was going there. This course makes you ready for upcoming technology specials, which will make you job-ready, an entrepreneur, or for any start-up. The changes that should be made are in attendance criteria; there is already a list of pressure on college students in academics; they should be given time to build on skill development.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of faculty, placement and average infrastructure.
Placements: There is no placement preparation, and they didn't provide any sessions or anything on placement preparation. Placements are collaborated with Panel College, so there will be more competition; around 300 students appeared for placement. Not a supportive TPO.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is average There is not a good network on college campus; no Wi-Fi are available. In labs, most of the PC's are not working and some are not compatible with practical. Only one lab has a good-quality PC with good configuration. library faculty behave like they own Library.
Faculty: Faculty members are not too skilled; they will teach only the syllabus. Some faculty members didn't complete their syllabus. Faculty members torture students on projects and submissions. Faculty members are full of attitude and half of subject knowledge. The total waste curriculum is designed with too many events.
Other: The best thing about this course is that you only get a single sheet of paper (a degree). No one will ask about a degree or course. In this course, colleges have to improve placement preparation and data structures.

College has good faculty but the sitting arrangement is not so good.
Placements: 1)Students placed in the course were nearly 30%. 2)the highest package offered was 4 LPA, 2 LPA the lowest package and average package is 3 LPA. 3)Wipro, L&T, JSW, etc. 4) Students gets internship who are interested in nearby auto garage (ANTONY GARAGE) 5) Maintenance, Designer, CNC operator.
Infrastructure: The facilities in our department are very updated: computer labs, clean libraries with many educational books, and Wi-Fi LAN availability in each classroom for the internet. The hostel is a bit far from the college, but the hostel building is very big, and security is good. The canteen facility is available at the hostel for the night, and the afternoon lunch is provided in the college canteen. Sports are also conducted at the district level on campus.
Faculty: Teachers were helpful, and some of the faculty are Ph.D. holders. The quality of teaching is good, and module tests are conducted every 2 weeks. The course curriculum is totally related to the course, and it’s very helpful in the future for interviews and final year projects. The college is very strict regarding exams, but the students pass, although it’s strict. More than 60% of students pass in semester exams.
Other: I chose this course because I was very keen to learn about machines and automobiles. The best thing about this course is that mechanical studies give you very deep knowledge about everything; it boosts your common sense. Improvement should be made in practical work, and the faculty should show some real-life examples related to the topics. Events held in college include Freshers' Party, Shiv Jayanti, and Garba. Our college celebrates a very big fest in Navi Mumbai called Euphoria. Various competitions are held, such as singing, dancing, and many more.

Pillai HOC College of Engineering and Technology is the best college near Navi Mumbai .
Placements: The Mumbai University pattern and syllabus are followed in college, and exams are carried out by Mumbai University. But management has informed us students that colleges will get autonomous status in one or two years. Top recruiters like Tata and Infosys had also visited our college. This academic year, 2024, placements are much better than usual.
Infrastructure: College is absolutely beautiful. Classrooms are clean but not well ventilated, and we face some problems in the summer. Labs and everything are fully functional; there are no such problems regarding that. The canteen is fine; there are many varieties and pocket-friendly dishes.
Faculty: Faculty members are excellent, especially in the first year. They treat us like friends and provide guidance regarding our career and self-improvement advice. Notes are provided in lectures as well as some of faculty members like engineering Chemistry engineering physics, etc. Theory subjects also share soft copy of notes for much better layout of answers.
Other: I chose this college and course because it was the best available college nearby .

It's a good college, and teachers are very helpful if we work hard.
Placements: Only 10 students got placements, including me, within the class, and others got their placements off-campus. But yeah, placements are there in the college if you have skills. The highest package is 5 lakhs, and the minimum is 3 lakhs per annum. 10 percent of the students got internships and placements.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is average, but accessibility is fine. One can enjoy going and vibing around in the college without any issues. There is a big infrastructure. The quality of the food is average, but yeah, I can say it's better than most of the other colleges I got info about.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful; they support you in every little thing. If you have any doubt, they are always available either in college or on the mobile. They are supportive, and the nature of the teachers is also good and admirable. The exams are difficult but not too much; the pass percentage was 65%.
Other: I want to be in business; that's why I chose this. Not a bad course, I guess.
