PGIMER BSc Nursing Exam 2024: Result (Declared), Counselling (Aug 12), Dates, Cutoff, Syllabus & Pattern

PGIMER BSc Nursing 2024 result was declared on August 9, 2024. The result was prepared by the conducting body, PGIMER Chandigarh. Candidates could access the results online by visiting the official website. The result was available in the form of a merit list based on the performance of the candidate in the national-level entrance exam. Using the roll number and password candidates could download the result which was published in PDF format. The result, present in the form of a merit list, is prepared according to the categories of reservation. The result included information such as the candidate’s name, roll number, qualifying status, and marks obtained.

PGIMER BSc nursing 2024 admit card was issued by the conducting body, PGI Chandigarh on July 23, 2024. The candidates whose application forms were successfully accepted by the conducting body. The PGIMER BSc Nursing 2024 admit card are made available online and candidates can visit the official website of the PGIMER, Chandigarh to access the same. The candidates have to log in to their official account by using their application number and password to access their admit card. The admit card will be available in downloadable PDF format. It is advised that candidates should check all the details mentioned on the admit card to avoid any issues at the examination hall. The candidates must carry the admit card to the exam centre on the day of the exam. No candidate will be allowed to enter the examination hall without the admit card. PGIMER BSc Nursing 2024 application forms for BSc Nursing and post-basic BSc programmes are available on the official website. The PGIMER Chandigarh accepted the application form from June 1 till June 30, 2024, by visiting the official website, http://pgimer.edu.in/. The PGIMER BSc Nursing application form for the BSc nursing programme was released via online mode. PGIMER, Chandigarh did not release the application form via offline mode. Candidates were able to apply online by visiting the official website of PGIMER, Chandigarh. The candidates first need to register themselves by furnishing details such as their name, date of birth, valid email ID, and active mobile number.

The candidates have to provide all the mandatory details in the application form after the registration process and then have to upload the image and the signature. The application fee payment was the last and most important step of the process. The conducting body has the right to not accept any application form if the fee is not paid. The application process was considered completed after the application fee was paid.

While filling out the PGIMER BSc Nursing 2024 application form candidates are advised to choose the exam centre carefully as the PGIMER, Chandigarh does not allow any change in the exam centre later on. Also, the candidate must try to upload a recent photograph in the application form.

PGIMER BSc Nursing 2024 exam is a national-level exam and is conducted for admissions to undergraduate-level courses, BSc nursing, and Post-basic nursing and requires separate eligibility criteria for the respective courses. To apply for the national-level exam, candidates must comply with the eligibility criteria mentioned below:

For BSc Nursing (Four years)

• For the BSc nursing programme, only female candidates will be eligible to apply
• The aspirant should have passed the class 12 examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English subjects or any other equivalent examination with at least 50 percent marks in aggregate
• Aspirants appearing for the class 12 exam in April/May 2024 are also eligible to apply
• The maximum age of the candidate should not exceed more than 25 years and not less than 17 years in the year of admission

For BSc Nursing Post Basic

• The aspirant should have passed the class 12 examination or equivalent
• The candidate should have completed General Nursing and Midwifery with a minimum of 50 percent marks in aggregate
• The aspirant should have three years of experience in nursing or public health nursing with the state/central government or any recognized hospital or institute
• The maximum age of the candidate should not be exceeding more than 45 years

PGIMER BSc Nursing 2024 counselling was started by PGIMER, Chandigarh on August 12, 2024, onwards. The PGIMER will invite all the shortlisted candidates for counselling after the announcement of the result. Candidates have to prove their eligibility as the eligibility criteria by producing all the mandatory documents. The conducting body will verify the documents in original and their self-attested photocopies. PGIMER, Chandigarh will organize the counselling and all the invited candidates have to report to the venue of the counselling on the allotted date and time. No candidate will be entertained on any other day besides the allotted date.
