Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research Chandigarh is a premier medical institute. It will conduct its MSc Nursing exam 2025 in June. Students must keep checking the official website of the institute for all exam related information. PGIMER will publish the exam dates, pattern, fee and application process details on its website. Once the entrance test will be completed, PGIMER will conduct the counselling session for the admission.

Q:   Q:What is the PGIMER MSc Nursing fee?

The institute has not announced the fees for the AY 2025-26. When PGIMER will announce the fee, students will be able to pay it using debit or credit card. Last year, the application fee for this course was INR 1,500 for the general and OBC categories and INR 1,200 for the SC/ST category.

Q:   I have qualified for the NEET-UG, do I have to appear separately for PGIMER nursing entrance exam?
A: 

PGIMER does not accept the NEET UG score. You need to appear in the PGIMER BSc Nursing exam separately for the BSc Nursing program. To appear in this examination, students must have completed the Class 12 examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English subjects. A separate counseling will be conducted by PGIMER for granting admission to candidates on the basis of the merit scored in the entrance exam.

The PGIMER MSc Nursing exam 2025 will be conducted to enable candidates to get admission to postgraduate nursing programs. Applicants who have finished a BSc in nursing or a Post-Basic nursing program are eligible to apply and take the PGIMER MSc nursing admission test in 2025. Eligibility Criteria of PGIMER MSc Nursing 2025

PGIMER MSc Nursing exam is a national-level exam and is conducted for admissions to the postgraduate level programme, MSc Nursing, and has eligibility criteria based on graduation.

The following are the eligibility criteria:

  • To appear in this exam, the students must have passed the BSc Nursing/Post Basic Nursing from an institute that is recognized by the Indian Nursing Council and PGIMER.
  • There is a requirement of a minimum of 55 percent in aggregate
  • Applicants should possess a minimum of one year of work experience as of the last date of application form submission, with specialization in bedside nursing in a hospital having a minimum of 100-bedded hospitals (for private hospitals only), or Public Health Nursing or in Nursing Educational Institutions recognized by INC
  • The applicant must be a registered nurse and registered midwife (RNRM)

PGIMER Nursing Application Process 2025

The PGIMER, Chandigarh, will invite applications for the entrance exam from March onwards. Applicants will be able to fill out the registration form by visiting the official website http://pgimer.edu.in/. Candidates are advised to visit the PGIMER MSc Nursing application form page to apply directly.

PGIMER MSc Nursing application form 2025 will only be available in ONLINE mode. The application fee payment was the last and the most crucial step of the process. The conducting body might have rejected the applications if they didn't receive the fee. The application process will be only considered finished once the application fee is paid.

During the PGIMER MSc Nursing application form-filling process, applicants were advised to select the exam centre carefully as PGIMER Chandigarh does not allow any change in the exam centre later on. Also, the applicant should upload a recent photograph in the application form.

PGIMER MSc Nursing 2025 Admit Card

PGIMER will release the admit card for its MSc Nursing exam 2025 on the official website. It will be released 10 years prior to the exam. The admit card will be released for students whose application forms will be accepted by the entrance exam conducting body. The students need to login to the website by using application number and password. After logging on the website, they will be able to download the admit card. The PGIMER MSc admit card will be available in downloadable PDF format. The students are advised to check the details mentioned on the admit card. The applicants have to carry the hard copy of the admit card to the exam centre. The authorities will not allow any applicant to enter the examination hall without producing the admit card. The conducting body will not send the admit card to any candidate via post.

PGIMER MSc Nursing Result 2025

The PGMER MSc Nursing result will be declared within 30 days following the completion of the entrance exam. The conducting body, PGIMER Chandigarh, will release a mert list for the candidates who will clear the cutoff. Applicants can get their results by going to the official website. The outcome will be presented in the form of a merit list based on the applicant's performance in the PGIMER MSc Nursing 2024 entrance test. Applicants can see their results and download the same downloadable PDF format by providing their roll number and password. The outcome, in the form of a merit list, will be created according to the reservation categories. The name, roll number, qualifying status, and marks achieved will all be included in the final result.

PGIMER MSc Nursing Counselling 2025

Following the successful completion of the test, PGIMER MSc nursing counselling will be held. The PGIMER will invite all selected candidates for counselling following the announcement of the results. To declare their eligibility, applicants had to submit all of the necessary papers. The original papers and their self-attested reproductions will be verified by the conducting authority. The counselling will be organised by PGIMER, Chandigarh, and all invited applicants must attend the session in person. On any other day than the permitted day, no candidate will be considered.
