PGIMER MSc Nursing 2024: Dates, Admit Card, Result, Counselling

The PGIMER MSc Nursing 2024 test will be conducted to enable candidates seek admission to postgraduate nursing programmes. Applicants who have finished BSc in nursing or a Post-Basic nursing programme are eligible to apply and take the PGIMER MSc nursing admission test in 2024. The test is held once a year in an online format across India. The ultimate admissions procedure is based on the candidates' performance and merit in the entrance exam. The entrance test was postponed from June 5 to July 3, 2024, due to the spread of COVID 19, as indicated in the conducting body's recent announcement.

Interested candidates will be able to fill out the PGIMER Nursing 2024 application form online by visiting the official website of the Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER).

PGIMER MSc Nursing 2024 exam is a national-level exam and is conducted for admissions to the postgraduate level programme, MSc Nursing, and has the eligibility criteria based on graduation. To apply for the national level exam, applicants are required to fulfill the eligibility criteria mentioned below:

• Applicants should have cleared BSc Nursing/Post Basic Nursing from a recognized Institution accredited by the Indian Nursing Council (INC) and PGIMER, Chandigarh.
• Applicant must have scored at least 55 percent in aggregate
• Applicants should possess a minimum of one year of work experience as of the last date of application form submission with specialization in bedside nursing in a hospital having a minimum of 100 bedded hospitals (for private hospitals only) or Public Health Nursing or in Nursing Educational Institutions recognized by INC
• The applicant must be a registered nurse and registered midwife (RNRM)

The PGIMER, Chandigarh, generally invites the applications for the entrance exam from March onwards. PGIMER MSc Nursing 2024 application form will only be available in ONLINE mode. PGIMER, Chandigarh will not release the application form in offline mode. Applicants had to apply online by visiting the official website of PGIMER, Chandigarh. The candidates were required to first register themselves by providing their personal details such as their name, date of birth, valid email id, and active mobile number.

The applicants have to furnish every mandatory detail in the application form after the registration process and then upload their recent colour photograph and scanned image of the signature. The application fee payment was the last and the most crucial step of the process. The conducting body might have rejected the applications if they didn't receive the fee. The application process will be only considered finished once the application fee is paid.

During the PGIMER MSc Nursing 2024 application form-filling process, applicants were advised to select the exam centre carefully as PGIMER Chandigarh does not allow any change in the exam centre later on. Also, the applicant should upload a recent photograph in the application form.

PGIMER MSc nursing 2024 admit card will be made available on the PGI Chandigarh, official website. PGIMER Chandigarh will issue the PGIMER MSc Nursing admit card 10 days before the exam day. The admit card will be issued to the candidates whose application forms will successfully be accepted by the entrance exam conducting body. The PGMER MSc Nursing 2024 result is generally announced within 30 days following the completion of the test. The conducting body, PGIMER Chandigarh, will decide the outcome. Applicants can get their results by going to the official website. The outcome will be presented in the form of a merit list based on the applicant's performance in the PGIMER MSc Nursing 2024 entrance test. Applicants can see their results and download the same downloadable PDF format by providing their roll number and password. The outcome, in the form of a merit list, will be created according to the reservation categories. The name, roll number, qualifying status, and marks achieved will all be included in the final result.

Following the successful completion of the test, PGIMER MSc nursing 2024 counselling is generally held. The PGIMER invites all selected candidates for counselling following the announcement of the results. To declare their eligibility, applicants had to submit all of the necessary papers. The original papers and their self-attested reproductions will be verified by the conducting authority.
