Review of Pragati Engineering College.
Placements: Placement in our college is good compared to other colleges. They focus on providing better placements for students. The highest salary package offered last year was 44 LPA. Internships provided at the campus are too good this year. They provide a stipend of Rs. 7,00,000.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is very good in our college. Library is too good to study. Lab facility is available. Canteen food is also good.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful in our college. Every teacher is well-qualified with good knowledge. The available course is CSE and its specialization is data science, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, IT and electronic, mechanical, and civil. Exams will be held very strictly. Semester exams are too tough to pass. The pass percentage of our seniors batch is 70%. Overall, it is good.
Other: In our college, fests are organized very rarely. They only focus on studies and discipline.

"Strong Academics, Weak Support: A Mixed Experience"
Placements: 95% of the students got placed in different companies. Highest package is about 40 LPA and average package is about 7 LPA and least is 4.5 LPA in Infosys, Cognizant. The training and testing error performing jobs has been ordered in the interviews.
Infrastructure: The hostel management is managed very well by the college management and hygienic food is provided to the students in order to check the health of the students . The classrooms are wide and spacious. The wifi is 24/7 available across the hostel. The food is good and hygienic.
Faculty: Teachers plays an important role in helping various objectives like encouraging in participating in various activities. Teachers are well educated and highly qualified and dignified. There is no partiality between the students and they help us in all the ways and semester exams are strictly conducted by the college management and there is scope for copying.
Other: I chose data science because I want to become a data Scientist and the fests are conducted less and yearly once in the month of January. Scholarship is provided for the college and they encourage the students.

Do not join this college.
Placements: Not so good. Collects 15000 feels for the placement training program, but there is no special proper training at all. Placements are not being offered to deserving candidates. Students get their jobs off campus, but the college management displays them as on-campus placement, which is a clear trap for new admissions.
Infrastructure: No Wi-Fi in campus but available in boys hostel. There is no girls hostel. The quality of the food is not at all good. We can find cockroaches in mess food. For our batch, there are no sports or games. They won't turn on the generators when a power cut occurs in hostels.
Faculty: The teaching faculty is very professional. We are being allotted to the faculty who have no knowledge about that particular subject. Example: We get computer network department faculty as Python teachers. Faculty come to the class and just sit idle or read the pdf as it is without any explanation.
Other: There is no word of events or festivals here. It's just like a school to us. They will conduct one event called Prism, which students can enjoy. But this year, 2024, they cancelled it and said that it was due to Corona even though there were no cases. In labs, teachers won't explain anything about that particular subject. They will just tell us to write records in labs. We don't even know where to type a Java program.

I would not recommended this college.
Placements: This year, there are no placements for Computer Science graduates. In the past, the lowest starting salary was 2 lpa, and the highest was 40 lpa. The college offers a variety of courses, including cybersecurity.
Infrastructure: There isn't anything there that is done properly. For example, they don't provide wifi at the time of exams, but it is available for other things. Sometimes it helps even though all the facilities are available, but everything requires permission ahead of time.
Faculty: My percentage is 83. I have a specialized course that lasts for four years. Each year is divided into two semesters, and each semester has five or six subjects and three or four labs. The syllabus and regulations change from year to year and from batch to batch. The new batch has just started.

Life at Pragati Engineering College.
Placements: Placements in this college are decent, but due to the pandemic, placements are affected, so not many people are getting placed. Also, the highest placements offered on college campuses are nearly 10 LPAs for further packages that refer to off-campus interviews (around >20 LPAs).
Infrastructure: I am not a hosteler; there is only a boy hostel on campus. Campus infrastructure is good, but not so luxurious. Although it completes all our basic needs and has different blocks for different branches,. College Wi-Fi is present in labs only for systems, not on our PCs.
Faculty: Classes will be done every semester by the faculty and semester exams are conducted very strictly with no scope for copying at all. The semester is every 5 months and there are no holidays after the 1st semister in every year at all. Like the school, we only get one month of holidays after the completion of the year.
Other: If you would like to join this college, please compare it with Aditya Engineering College according to your rank so that you can get your preferred college seat. Also compare the placements and festivals as usual. There is a separate fee for training but training only starts in the 3rd year ending or 4th year starting and the training fee is included every year, a minimum of 15k, as well as the college fee of 63k and the bus and hostel fee.
