An honest review of Prin. L. N. Welingkar Institute of Management Development and Research.

Placements: Placements and internships are good for our batch and also our senior batch. Good companies visit the campus to offer placements at good packages. Only a few companies visit to hire the students of HR domain. However, only a few students are present in that particular specialisation.

Overall, it's an average college. Placements are average, but the faculty are helpful.

Placements: Placements of our senior batch are okay. Almost all the students get placed. Some of the students have to find placements on their own. The highest salary package offered was 17 LPA, and the lowest was 3 LPA. The average salary package offered was 6 LPA. Companies like Pidilite, Accenture, Yes Bank, and HDFC Bank, etc., have visited the campus for placements. Students were offered roles either in the marketing domain as a sales representative or in the finance domain. There is a placement cell n...

A good college with brand value.

Placements: Placements are very good in terms of the retail market. All the leading companies like Future Group, Aditya Birla and Reliance Retail visit our campus for executive placements. Puma and VIP also offer placements. The average package offered is around 7-8 LPA, and the highest being 21 LPA.

There is a scope for improvement. If the fee is taken into consideration, they need to improve more.

Placements: The placement drives for our batch have just started, and it is observed that many good companies are visiting the campus to offer various profiles. The core healthcare companies like pharma and hospitals have not yet visited. The placement rate of our senior batch was 100%, and the roles were offered according to the students' choice. They need not choose only the health care domain. The highest salary package offered was 12 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 4 LPA. The average sala...

A great institute with good people.

Placements: According to my seniors, a lot of advertising and PR companies come to pick the students up. Though the initial pay might be low, the companies and the roles that are on-offer are more than enough to compensate it. Even though this is a media and entertainment specialisation, one can apply for any company that comes to Welingkar, as the college has a centralised placement process.

It is one of the best B-schools in Mumbai.

Placements: The placements of the college are good enough. The average salary package offered is 8 LPA. Companies like Morgan Stanley, Deloitte, Crisil, KPMG, Thomas Cook and many more visit the campus. The placements for marketing specialisation are high. This year, many more new companies will be visiting to hire students from all specialisations. Live projects are also offered.

The course is good with in-depth exposure.

Placements: This is an executive programme for working executives. Therefore placement assistance was not offered from the institute. However, the alumni network provides a base for corporate tie-ups. This course has offered an in-depth knowledge of HR functions to students and helped them to get promotions.

A go to college if you have a 1 year+ work experience and expecting a 8+ LPA package.

Placements: Placements in the college are average. The average package offered is 7 LPA. Almost 80% of the batch got placed. Many companies come for placements, but they prefer work experience. So a student with work experience aiming for a package of more than 8-9 lacs per annum can choose this college. Currently, the highest package offered in our batch is 15 lacs per annum, and it is offered by Accenture. A good number of banks like ICICI, HDFC, and Axis visit the campus for placements. Other than these,...

A student from the 2019 batch has been placed with a package of 9.80 LPA. Till now, companies like Accenture, Deloitte visited the college for placements of the 2019 batch. Really good infrastructure and amenities which allow us to develop our knowledge and skills.

Placements: As an MS student, we had to struggle a lot during the placements. PGDM students get the leverage because they have regular mock and GD sessions. Also, the placements for operations are not that good. The college is famous for its marketing placement. Various banks like microfinance bank visit the college for recruitment.

Placements in the college are decent, but the infrastructure should be improved.

Placements: Placements are yet to start for us, but I feel that there is a lot of competition to get placed, as the batch strength is of 700 students in total. So, it is a big task for us to get placed with a double-digit salary, that is, above 10 LPA.

Placements: Our college says that there are 100% placements, but a student has to put in his/her efforts and make the best out of it. RBA is an upcoming course is what I feel. Hence, I choose this course as it is perfect and according to my interests. Placements in our college are good because Welingkar is reputed in the corporate field.

Placements: Placements in the college are very good. Placements in the college start in the sixth month from the date of admission, and it is the best thing.
