Love the campus and facilities provided by the college

Placements: The lowest and highest stipend offered is around 0 to 25-30K per month. Not many students are placed right now but eventually, it does get settled down. Students are free to find internships and executive placements by themselves. In the final year, the annual salary is 6 lakhs on an average and about 15-20 lakhs on the higher side. Companies coming in are Accenture, RBI, Infosys, TCS, Trent, ICICI, HDFC, Axis banks, Gep, CapGemini, Godrej, etc

Review of WE School - Prin L N Welingkar Institute of Management Development and Research.

Placements: Many companies visit the campus. The placement cell does a good job to make everyone place, and freshers get good salary packages. Companies like ITC, Phillips, Blue Star, CBRE, JLL, RPG, Tata Housing, D&B, etc., visited the campus. The average salary package offered was 6.5 LPA.

ROI should be great in terms of placement.

Placements: There are big names coming into the campus for placements although the intake is too less. CapGemini, Reliance Jio, Infosys, Accenture, Godrej & Boyce, TCS, TRENT, ICICI prudential, HDFC bank are to name a few. Salary package is upto 20 lakhs and average is like 6 .5 lakhs or so. Overall, the college should improve, keeping the return on investment in mind.

Excellent faculty and good Infra

Placements: The main pain-point for Welingkar is that it has a very large batch size which makes placement scenario difficult as there is immense competition within the college itself. As a result of which, average package offered also goes down. The placement scenario is not very encouraging.

Top-notch faculty, swanky campus, industry-based learning, high-end library facilities.

Placements: Currently, I am in the second and final year of the PGDM course, so main placements for our batch is still left and yet to happen. But we had companies lined up for the summer internship which went really well. Our college has a good line up of top companies. Various MNCs, top banks, insurance, technical and non-technical companies come to our college. Apart from that, various live projects from good and branded companies also give nice exposure and help build the CV of students. ...

Ebiz course at Welingkar is value for money

Placements: Placements are still going on right now but the previous batch had better placements. Almost 80% to 85% students who applied for jobs got placed. Companies such as CapGemini, Accenture, Godrej and Boyce, Infosys, Tata Consoltancy services conduct interviews in Welingkar.

Good ROI with good to better placements

Placements: The placements are good no doubt, but the batch strength and increasing competition every year make it difficult for everyone to get placed. We have an efficient team working at the back-end, but placing a high number is always an issue here. Companies like Nestle, IBM, Infosys, ICICI bank and much more do visit the campus every year. The internship season kick-starts around Feb and almost all the students get the internship, but the stipend offered varies from company to company. ...

Overall, I rate my college the best in terms of infrastructure, teaching and other facilities.

Placements: An excellent institute to be a part of and to explore. Being a Wellingkar student, I not only could achieve my higher studies but also could gain more knowledge. I am not really sure about the placement system, but most of the seniors were quite happy, as various opportunities for their batch and our batch were there after the higher studies.

The quality of the faculty is excellent with many corporates coming in as visiting faculty. The infrastructure is one of the best in Mumbai with an excellent collection of books in the college library. The brand Welingkar is recognized in the corporate world. The placements in the college are average. There are close to 550-600 students who sit for placements and the competition is intense. Overall, it is a decent college for freshers but if one has a work experience, then he/she should be advi...

The college has a great infrastructure with well-equipped labs, gym, AC classrooms, seminar halls, etc. The only drawback is that the college does not have many rooms available at the college hostel and many students end up living in PGs. In Mumbai, it being an expensive city, finding an affordable place near the college becomes difficult at times. The canteen is hygienic but the rates are not subsidized. The college has had a good track record of placements. However, with the increase in the nu...

The best part about the college is the location and the infrastructure that comprises of state of the art facilities. The quality of the faculty also enhances the college. Apart from that, the number of opportunities the college gives to the students is excellent. The lack of a residential campus is a certain drawback. This leads to lack of peer to peer learning. Adding to that, the campus placement doesn't adhere to the huge student strength. The areas where improvement can be done is having...

The college atmosphere and infrastructure stands tall. The placement is fine. The senior faculty is the key driving force behind the college's brand name. The hostel facility is a big problem. I had to wait for 16 days and strive hard traveling by locals every day. The hostel fee is slightly high. You can always go back to the teachers for help and they will teach you in the best possible way. There is a lot of exposure for students. The infrastructure is good and the environment is nice. Our college infrastructure is good. The faculty members are good and the management is excellent. However, the only problem is that more efforts should be made on placements for better companies and fewer students should be in after admission to maintain a good placement record. It should focus on in-house competitions and better contacts for highly reputed companies.

A weightage of 60% is given to external exams. Tests are conducted on a regular basis. I am studying in the Retail Management course and we have the best of a renowned and dedicated faculty. The whole curriculum is designed to provide flexibility to students to choose among interdisciplinary subjects as per one’s personal interests and choices in the final year. There is no campus as the college is only a building without any ground for students but Matunga gymkhana is right opposite to the c...

The college's infrastructure is not up to the mark. The college lacks the basic amenities like toilets, drinking water, and good classrooms. The library has a big enough collection of books but mostly are outdated or in very poor condition. If you're thinking about the college life, forget it as there are hardly any programs conducted or any trip organized by the college. No placements at all and also most of the teachers are not permanent and they come as guest faculty. The administration is...

Welingkar has some excellent faculty and equally good placements (average package being around rupees 6.5 lakhs per annum). MMS course is Mumbai University accredited and hence its fees are less than PGDM courses. Welingkar is known for its Marketing stream and has an excellent infrastructure and a well-equipped library (including digital databases). The students face trouble to get their summer internships in Finance, rest all streams get easily placed for their internships. The college provi...

It has just the brand name and nothing more than that. It keeps on adding new courses, year on year. The good thing is that, due to its brand name few of the good companies come to the campus for placements. If you have new ideas, they will be always be appreciated by the faculty. The crowd is fine. The faculty is also fine. The fees are high and the ROI is low if we keep the placement factor in mind. A few years ago, it was considered to be a good college as getting into this college was...
