The college offers many specialization courses. With the most impressive placement record and industry relevance, Computer Engineering remains one of the best courses in PVG's College of Engineering and Technology. Here, almost 100% of placements are achieved with average salaries of about INR 5-6 LPA. The college also offers specialization courses like Artificial Intelligence and Data Science that follow the current trend of technology. Other branches include Electrical and Mechanical Engineering. While they do offer good placement rates, these are still not as high as Computer Engineering.

PGV's College of Engineering and Technology ranks typically in Tier 2. Established in 1985, it is affiliated to Savitribai Phule Pune University, which imparts undergraduate and postgraduate education in the stream, it provides B.Tech and MBA.
