Good placements in 2015 @ RMK Engineering College.

Placements: Placements were good in my college. Almost 91% students were placed from those who have registered. The highest salary was 6.5 LPA and the lowest salary was 1.5 LPA. Most of the IT companies like CTS, Infosys, Wipro, Zoho, etc. visited my college. All the companies had offered their core functional role to the students.

Right place which makes you good in society.

Placements: Around 2000 students from RMK group of institutions got placed in day 1 recruitment conducted by Infosys, Cognizant and Wipro. Around 85 percent of the eligible students were placed in reputed organisations with the pay scale varying from 3.3 lakhs per annum to 6 lakhs per annum.

Satisfied with placements, infrastructure and food. Dissatisfied with the rules.

Placements: Placement was excellent in my batch. Nearly 90% of the people who have any backlogs got placed in different companies. Nearly 30-40 companies visited my college for my batch. 20% of people got internships from Infosys and Zoho. The highest package was offered by the company Zoho which is 6 LPA.

Good faculty and lacks in placements but can prefer for higher studies.

Placements: The placements are not good enough, it needs development in it and needs good interaction with all the people so that we feel free in the interview round. Many software companies are coming. There are no jobs in mechanical engineering, and they need to move into software jobs.

The major aspect of the college is discipline. The other aspects are as follows; 1. Infrastructure is absolutely amazing, has good quality labs, necessary conference halls, and playgrounds. 2. They have highly qualified lectures in their specialization. 3. The placement is really good. Nearly 80 percent of the students gets placed & an effective training is given to the students community. 4. Lastly, it is worth the money.

College has everything that a engineering need to have but students doesn't have access to it or limited access. Students are not exposed to the different conditions like talking to girls or having a friendly interactions with fellow mates. Well educated teachers are available but they only talk about studies. A total green campus is a good thing for a studying environment. A decent library is available which has only subject related notes but not not allowed to visit it unless you have a dedica...

"Pros: Good college which always aims at its best to make the students secure good scores, highly skilled faculty members, clean green campus, hygienic food, good bus facilities. Cons: Cannot enjoy college life as they treat us like school students, mobile phones are prohibited, outside foods are prohibited, no canteen or snacks counter for day scholars.

The college infrastructure is overall good and the labs are well equipped with the machines and devices. The hostel facilities, food and transportation facilities are good. The college is very strict and doesn't allow any interaction with opposite gender and follows strict rules and regulations. Girls are allowed to wear only Indian formals and boys are expected to be clean shaved. Wearing jeans is not allowed even for the visitors who come to visit the students. The college is approximately 50kms away from the main city, but has an extra-ordinary infrastructure. It’s all covered with greenery. Bus service is excellent. The play grounds in indoor stadium are well maintained. Teachers are not so good. Fees is very high when compared with the placements. Canteen is the best part. Food is just awesome.

Good with all facilities and infrastructure. Education is good. Lack of exposure. Unnecessary strict measures that suppresses student’s liberty. Staffs are good and the hospitality is exceedingly good. Food is awesome. Facilities at hostels are good. Students are allowed to use laptops.. Most importantly restrictions for interaction with opposite sex is seriously a big problem. Those can be revised. Other than that the college is very good.

RMKEC which is a private college in Chennai, affiliated to Anna University, Chennai has a lot of departments. Though there are better colleges other than this in Chennai they are also trying to be well established in all areas. I think 5 years down the line RMKEC would also gain popularity like other colleges in Chennai. It is situated on the outskirts of Chennai. I think the college of had proper funds can mend the labs and basic facilities to improve the standard which lags. They can invite p...

Campus is nice and food is hygienic. But the rules are the only problem here and also most of the day scholar students coming by college bus will waste most of their time in bus. But utmost efforts and care will be taken on the students regarding their academics and placements.

Good faculty infrastructure placement and hospitality feel like home. It's highly disciplined college where rules are little strict to maintain decorum. Won lot of awards and always ranks in top of the list among the regional colleges. Fee wise also don’t charge too much comparing other self-financing colleges. Collects a reasonable with food and transport.
