Anytime I would recommend RNS (CSE) to anyone. Just join Guys and make the most out of it.

Placements: Placements depends on the Individuals preparation and his or her Academics. Colleges Placements cell here at RNS gives it best to try to get all the eligible candidates placed irrespective of the branch. If you are from CS/IS background I would say opportunities will be more. In my batch, I don't actually remember the exact figures, mostly decent salary was offered. Companies that my friends got placed into are Samsung R&D, ThoughtWorks, Huawei, Robert Bosch, IBM ISL and many more. And not forge...

Typical VTU college, nothing special; overall disappointing.

Placements: Placement statistics of RNSIT are very deceptive. They will market that they have 95% or more placement percentage, but most of the students are hired by IT companies and mass recruiters. It's good for CS IS students. Very few ECE, EEE and other branch core companies visit RNSIT, so core placements are terrible. Be good in computer fundamentals, you'll get job regardless of your branch.

A good consistently improving institute.

Placements: Placements are good for almost all the department's unless you're in mechanical or civil. Getting a core job is too difficult. Other than that you'll have enough opportunities to get into a decent company and then it depends on you whether you convert it or not after going into that room.

This is my personal review of the experience I had at RNSIT.

Placements: I was placed. In fact today was my first day of orientation. My branch had 100 percent placement. The major recruiters were accenture, infosys, amazon and bosche. The pay package averaged at 3.6 LPA with around 320 students selected by infosys and another 180 by infosys. The placement cell works day in and out to ensure placement for each candidate. However eligibiilty is an important factor. The cut off this year was 6.5 c. g. p. a. This is supposed to rise further to 7 CGPA maybe in future. To...

It is a good college for CS, IS, and ECE branch.

Placements: Placements in our college were very good this time. Almost all the students who were eligible got placed. Only the civil and mechanical branch placements were not good, and for the rest, it was all fine. Accenture hired almost 300 students from this college, which is a really huge number. Even Infosys hired around 150 students.

The college is good with academics and placements. Sports and other facilities are not okay.

Placements: The placement was good. Some core companies also visited our campus, but most of the students got placed in IT-based companies. Many higher salary package companies also visited our campus. About 90% of students got placed in the year 2019. The college has invited many marketing companies also.

Placements: Placements are pretty good as compared to other colleges in Bangalore. But mostly IT company visits the campus. As for mechanical engineering no core companies will visit the campus. So make sure about that before taking mechanical and civil engineering.
